Taiyuan Hotels with Bars

On May 1st, I came to Taiyuan to play the Manxin, and I was amazed at the first time I lived in Manxin. The room hygiene is very meticulous, clean and bright. The breakfast is rich and balanced. Every service staff is particularly enthusiastic and the service is in place. The problem is solved very quickly, the stay experience is particularly comfortable, come to Taiyuan to live here!

A Sanctuary When I Needed It Most I arrived in Taiyuan not feeling well and ended up staying seven nights without ever leaving the room. Labor Day holiday, full DND stretches, just me and delivery apps. And honestly? It was exactly what I needed, and this hotel made it possible. Let me start with the moment that defined this stay. My housekeeper came in most days to refresh the room, and each time I'd ask for the same drinks. After a few days he just knew -- knew what I wanted, knew I wasn't feeling well. He'd heard me coughing while he cleaned and was clearly paying attention. On my last day, when I had DND up and didn't want any service at all, he quietly left a bag of my favorite drinks outside the door anyway. No knock, no disruption. Just a person who had been paying attention all week and wanted to take care of me. That kind of warmth doesn't come from a training manual. I won't forget it. The room itself held up beautifully for a long stationary stay. Clean, accurate to the photos, well-appointed. Floor-to-ceiling windows, two bathrooms, excellent shower pressure, generous storage, a proper tea set, and a beverage bar housekeeping kept replenished without being asked. The slippers were genuinely excellent -- better than some five-star properties I've stayed at. For seven nights of recovery during a national holiday, this hotel and its people delivered everything that mattered.

Very good. I upgraded to an open suite directly. The area is very large. It’s a bit of a waste to live alone. But there are not many surrounding facilities. There is nothing to do. Anyway, I am here for a meeting, so it’s okay…

My stay here exceeded expectations. As soon as I entered the room, there was no strange odor, and the floors and bathroom were spotless. The bedding was fluffy and soft, allowing me to get a peaceful night's sleep. Check-in at the front desk was very quick, and the staff patiently answered all my questions. The location is excellent, convenient for dining and shopping. The facilities are complete, with plenty of hot water and effective air conditioning for both cooling and heating. The price is affordable, and the service is attentive, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Manxin Hotel is a high-end hotel under the Huazhu Club umbrella. The customer service is excellent, with friendly service and prompt resolution of any issues. The hotel is located on Changfeng Street. I had no idea where this was when I booked the hotel, but locals later told me it's quite bustling. It's also not far from Zhonglou Street and Liuxiang. The subway station is less than 500 meters away. The hotel is located in a commercial office building, with the lobby on the 12th floor. Going up from the ground floor was a bit of a surprise, as I thought I'd gone to the wrong place. The guest rooms are in the 20th floor, a total of only three floors. There's no gym or pool, but there is a laundry room. The guest rooms are high enough, but the windows are surprisingly small, perhaps due to the building's construction. The rooms are spacious, but the amenities feel a bit dated. The air conditioning is a bit noisy, which might be a problem for those with sleep problems. The breakfast is plentiful and long, perfect for a late night.

This hotel was the best one we stayed at during our trip to China (Taiyuan/Xi'an/Beijing), even though the hotels in the other two cities were also very good and unique. The hotel is designed in the style of a traditional Shanxi compound, which is incredibly distinctive. It features multiple courtyards, each with its own unique ambiance, making it perfect for photos. The hotel offers a free 'young lady' (少奶奶) / Hanfu dress-up experience. We didn't pay for additional makeup and styling, but still took many great photos around the hotel ourselves. The hotel's location is also superb. It's just a 2-minute walk to Food Street and Liuxiang Pedestrian Street, a paradise for foodies and shoppers. The former Governor's Mansion and Jinshang Museum are also within walking distance. Despite being so close to the hustle and bustle, the hotel itself is situated on a quiet alley, completely undisturbed by the outside noise. The breakfast offered by the hotel was something we looked forward to every morning, eager to go and eat. It was a thoughtfully prepared, nutritious breakfast, very rich, and excellent in color, aroma, and taste. Enjoying complimentary afternoon tea in the courtyard; free self-service laundry... the hotel truly offers a comprehensive range of services. Most notably, their service stands out – every staff member is friendly and dedicated. Next time I visit Taiyuan, I will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the surrounding dining and shopping are convenient. It is recommended that the hotel improve the connection with the Trip.com reservation system and give convenient discounts for renewing the connecting rooms.

Facilities: A few things to complain about: the air conditioning wasn't working properly, I woke up several times at night because of the heat; the room was stuffy, and it was noisy when the windows were open; the shower gel wasn't checked before check-in, and we only discovered it was empty when we took a shower; the hairdryer and toilet looked new, but they were just so-so; the design was strange, the toilet wasn't ventilated, and there was a separate small room and shower room. The shower room had a crammed-in bathtub, but there was nowhere to put clothes, so you had to get out of the shower to get dressed. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was acceptable, no major issues. Environment: It's a bit far from Wuyi Square and Liuxiang, and shopping nearby isn't particularly convenient. If you want to stay in the city center, be aware of this. Service: Breakfast sandwiches are delivered to the room. Remember to tell the front desk. I don't know why, but when I checked in, the front desk said it was a mistake, and only after asking later did they say it was provided.

High cost performance, great service attitude! This stay was great! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and I slept well until dawn. The front desk service was warm and considerate, and they took the initiative to help with the luggage and patiently recommended nearby food. The location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and the business district is downstairs. The facilities are complete, including smart toilets and high-definition TVs, and the quality is reflected in the details. High cost performance, I will choose here next time!

During check-in, the staff accurately identified my membership status and completed all procedures within three minutes. He even proactively upgraded my room to a lake view. Later at night, when I asked for recommendations for local food, the duty manager, Lily, personally drew a map and suggested an authentic Shanxi restaurant, even marking the taxi route clearly. The perfect combination of professional expertise and efficient execution made my business trip completely worry-free.
