LLaomaidangAfter moving from the Park Hyatt Busan, I stayed at this hotel in the heart of Haeundae. My ocean view room was a bit small, but the view was fantastic – endless sea and sky, with a bustling beach that connects to a park, making it a great spot for a vacation or a stroll. Plus, it's only a 10-minute walk to Busan's pedestrian street. The hotel staff provided thoughtful and attentive service, making my stay very comfortable. The amenities were comprehensive. This trip to Busan really changed my perception of service in Korea; the past rumors of discrimination against Chinese people seem to be gone. The room, though slightly small, was tastefully decorated, with comfortable bedding and nice toiletries. The bathroom only had a bathtub, no separate shower. Breakfast and the Chinese restaurant offerings were good, a bit pricey but acceptable. Given the recent sharp depreciation of the Korean won, now is a great time to visit Korea.

KKeaidedudu616Hygiene: The room's cleanliness was quite poor. There was hair in the bathroom and urine stains in the toilet. Service: When checking in, the front desk initially told us that because we had booked separately, one night was for a standard room and the other for a sea-view room. After checking multiple times, they insisted this was the case and that we'd need to pay a price difference to stay in the same room. Only after I showed her my itinerary did she realize her mistake, saying there was someone with the same name. Still, I recommend all you ladies carry your itineraries when traveling, just in case. Surrounding Environment: The hotel entrance is a bit small, located between a BMW dealership and McDonald's. However, dining and shopping are quite convenient, with a pedestrian street nearby. The beach here isn't as crowded as Gwangalli. At a price of 1500+, I wouldn't highly recommend it.

QQingdaopijiutianxiadiyiThe best hotel in Busan! The ocean view rooms offer endless spectacular scenery! Gwangan Bridge stretches across Gwangalli Beach like a giant dragon! To the east, there's Dongbaek Island, and further east is Haeundae Beach, the number one beach in South Korea! The hotel's cleanliness and facilities are top-notch! Room service is also good. However, I had a bit of an unpleasant experience at check-in! I had booked a deluxe high-floor ocean view room for two nights and three days. The front desk staff assigned me the 10th floor. I requested a higher floor, and he said it would cost an additional 22,000 Korean Won. The hotel has 32 floors in total, and for a high-floor ocean view room that I booked, giving me the 10th floor felt like taking advantage of foreigners, didn't it? In the end, I had to pay extra to get moved to the 19th floor!

LLIUYANHHHThis hotel is right by the sea, stepping out directly onto a white sand beach. It's very close to the capsule monorail station, which you can even see from the room. The room was clean with an expansive view. The service was excellent; they gave us a high-floor room, which was super comfortable. There's even a coffee machine, so you can enjoy a coffee while admiring the sea view – a truly delightful vacation!

AAleks_GIn terms of value for money, the hotel is decent. The interior is pleasant and modern; it seems new, but it is no longer perfectly clean. In my room, for example, the toilet seat cover was taped with duct tape, there were splashes on the walls in some places, and stains on the ceiling. However, the rooms are cleaned well, towels are changed every day, and if you ask not to be disturbed, they leave everything you need in a basket outside your room. The hotel is very conveniently located for a short visit to Busan (up to 3-4 days), close to the train station and between the main attractions (it takes about the same amount of time to get to each direction). The trains were not audible in the room, and overall the hotel is quite quiet. I had a spacious room where I could open my suitcase normally, but there was still not enough storage space (at least more hangers for clothes are needed). There are also no cutlery in the room, which is a minus. There is a clothes styler - something like a steaming closet, which turned out to be convenient, as I didn't need an iron. The pool area is relaxing, you can take beautiful photos, and the water is warm. I didn't like the breakfasts. On weekdays, they are served à la carte, the selection is modest, and the coffee is not tasty. There are many coffee shops and cafes around the hotel, so it's better to go there. I was very surprised that upon check-in, they asked for a deposit of 100,000 won (or a card). In 10 years of active travel, I have never encountered this anywhere in hotels especially without notification.

GGuest UserThe hotel was location is an excellent location. Very convenient and nearby to shops and the haeundae beach with mrt less than 7 mins walk which makes it very convenient. I booked a twin room - double and single bed. Room is new, clean and a good size for city. This room does not provide unobstructed Seaview. Whats disappointing: 1. We needed to change cash for laundry which was part of the hotel. The reception say no change. 2. We initially reserve 2 night then extend a further 2 night's. We requested for cleaning on 3rd day. Whilst they replace the towels, wash the cups and provided free bottles of water, - bed not made, - floor not vacumn( hairs visible) and - toilet not cleaned ( hair in the shower cubicle)

GGuest UserThe facilities were good! However, the older gentleman at the front desk when I checked in was incredibly unfriendly. Then, when I tried to fill the bathtub for an evening soak, there was no hot water. When I called, they said they had just turned up the temperature and it would take 2-3 hours to heat up! Shouldn't they have pre-heated it if a stay was booked? The floor heating wasn't working, and I couldn't use the regular heater because there was mold inside. The older gentleman, who I assume was the manager at the front desk, was truly unfriendly!!

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel, the room is clean. Not much to say on the hotel. That is five star for me. For this reason I will focus my review on the “extra” services. Very good the presence of the rooftop pool, they have two pools. The big one had cold water (too cold to be used) and the small one had hot water. They also have a small gym in the basement, good idea. There is a laundry room but the washing machine was broken (that is what they told me) I also want to mention the bar they have inside the hotel (GROTTO bar). The barman is very nice, very professional. The drink were very well made. BUT I was really annoyed by the menu. In every korean business you can see full prices (like 4500 won) or prices divided by 1000 (e.g. 4500 -> 4.5 ). At grotto bar, the prices of the drinks are listed as “1.6”, so I thought 1.6 = 1600 won. I know it is veeeery cheap, but I also thought it was a way to offer a service to the hotel, with very cheap drink prices. At the end, when I paid I found out that 1.6 was equal to 16.000 and not 1600 like any other shop in korea. Why can’t you just write “16” on the menu? I find this almost like a way to “scam” customers. I find no logic, why would you write 1.6 and expect the person who buys the drink multiplies by 10.000 while ANY other korean business always multiplies by 1000. Just fix this, it is total non sense, very unprofessional.

PPinky DerpsOverall it was clean but there were some clumps of hair in the little hallway and bathroom. I loved the location, it was super close to the beach and all other activities were within walking distance. It was my own mistake that I didn't realize how far it was from the station and Naver keeps recommending to take the bus. If you have luggage, for your own sanity please take the metro!
