The room was spacious with a seaview, and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed our time here. Definitely a hotel I would happily come back to!

I had an excellent stay at G Hotel Gurney in the Executive Suite. The suite was spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great view. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Penang. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to Gurney Plaza and within walking distance of many popular eateries. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, making the entire stay even more enjoyable. The Executive Lounge was a great addition, offering a quiet and comfortable space to unwind with complimentary refreshments. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection of local and international dishes. Overall, everything from the room quality to the service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely choose G Hotel Gurney again on my next visit to Penang and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

I really liked this hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They spoke English well. The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Its location is close to a fishing village. You can walk straight to a grocery store in 5 minutes. Inside the hotel, there's an area with a small pool. When I was there, I was the only one using it. The pool is shallow and clean. There's security downstairs, and the lobby and hotel entrance are closed at night. Regarding soundproofing, I found it to be fine, even though my windows faced the road. Someone with very light sleep might find it unsuitable, but personally, I slept well the whole time and had a good rest. There were sounds, but they were very muffled.

I had a great stay at this hotel and felt it offered outstanding value for money. The loft-style room was unique, spacious and one of the highlights of my stay, with a nice city view overlooking the surrounding buildings and streets. I especially liked the loft area, which doubled as a cozy workspace. Cleanliness was excellent throughout the room. The bathroom was spotless, with fresh towels/bathrobe and quality toiletries provided. The bed was comfortable, and the linens and pillows were fresh and clean. Wi-Fi was reliable, and all the room facilities—including the air conditioning, hot water, and water pressure—worked perfectly. The location is another major advantage. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby within walking distance, along with shopping malls. Most of the street attractions is just a short stroll away, making it an ideal location for sightseeing. What really completed the experience was the excellent service. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming, and the reception team handled both check-in and check-out efficiently. From the day i arrived at the hotel doorsteps greeted by the door man, to an excellent room service and housekeeping, and most of all the front desk service which deserve special recognition. I would happily to come back for staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Penang

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and I have enjoyed every visit, including my most recent stay with my baby boy to celebrate my birthday. The hotel staff and housekeeping are friendly, responsive, and provide excellent hospitality, making every stay comfortable and memorable. The hotel is also baby-friendly, which made traveling with our infant much easier and more enjoyable. Its location in the heart of Penang town is another great advantage, as it is convenient to explore the city on foot and experience the local attractions, food, and culture. In addition, it is very easy to get around by Grab, with reasonable fares to most places of interest. Overall, I had another wonderful stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Penang.

Excellent! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to the Blue House. The hotel's design and ambiance are simply beautiful. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being a guest in the home of someone with great taste and an appreciation for art. The front desk service was also very good – friendly and they spoke Chinese. Although breakfast was simple, it tasted great. As the last stop on our trip, it truly felt like a well-deserved treat.

Arrived in Penang at night. The front desk was manned by an Indian gentleman who didn't speak Chinese. The deposit was 100 MYR cash, refundable upon check-out. The hotel is within walking distance of the mural street, and there's a cha chaan teng (Hong Kong-style cafe) right downstairs.

I'm really happy with this hotel in Bingcheng. They have coin-operated washers and dryers on the first floor, which is super convenient. Step out and turn right, and you'll find tons of food options just a short walk away, including a durian stall I spotted! It's also within walking distance to most of the attractions, so it feels like a lively yet central spot. Plus, they offer luggage storage, which is a huge bonus.
