The Beijing New Otani Hotel is an established five-star hotel in Beijing, boasting a prime location near a subway station and a wide array of dining options, including Wangfujing. The hotel itself offers a buffet and a Chinese restaurant. Overall, the hotel is well-maintained. In our room, the shower had excellent water pressure and drained quickly. The bedding was soft, and most importantly, the service was exceptionally friendly. We were in a hurry to check out and accidentally left our charger and important cards in the room. Manager Wang Zhaofeng immediately helped us search for them, responding promptly and quickly sending us photos of the found items, which instantly put our minds at ease. She then arranged for expedited shipping to mail them back to us. This kind of heartfelt service, anticipating and addressing guests' urgent needs, is truly commendable. We visited the hotel's breakfast restaurant once, and the variety was extensive, with excellent taste, quality, and freshness. The restaurant service was also timely and enthusiastic, leaving us very satisfied, especially the excellent service from Runze and Xiao Cai Gege. The superior service from these staff members truly enhanced our stay.

The hotel is incredibly well-located right in the center of Beijing, within walking distance of the main attractions, making our sightseeing trips exceptionally convenient and easy.A special highlight was the lounge on the 19th floor where the club dinners are held. Dining with a glass of wine while enjoying the breathtaking, majestic view of the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park is an unparalleled pleasure! The atmosphere there is truly magical.However, the most valuable and outstanding feature of this hotel is how they treat their guests. We experienced not just a high standard of service, but genuine love, warmth, and true, deep hospitality that is so rare to find these days.We arrived at the hotel very early — at 8:00 AM, exhausted from our journey, and were mentally prepared to wait hours for check-in. To our amazement, we were not only greeted with a smile, but were given a room immediately, saving us from tedious waiting!I would like to express my deepest and most sincere gratitude to Mike Wong and Hanson Wang. They took incredible care of our family. Mike personally showed us two excellent rooms to choose from, helping us patiently and politely. The room we fell in love with on the 17th floor was instantly handed over to us.It is because of such dedicated, caring, and professional employees like Mike Wong and Hanson Wang that the brand builds its flawless positive image, making guests want to return over and over again. The hotel upgraded me to a newly renovated room, which was great. The location is also excellent, and both the new and old sections of the hotel are equally good. I also enjoyed the ice cream – very nice! I'll definitely choose Hotel International again next time I'm in Beijing. Just as I love Beijing, I love these classic, older hotels even more.

Cleanliness: As a five-star hotel, cleanliness is the baseline for trust.
Comfort: Good. The blackout curtains are very effective, and it's quiet, even though it's located right by Chang'an Avenue.
Bedding: The mattress is a bit firm, similar to the firm side of a dual-firmness mattress.
Transportation: Convenient. Subway, walking, and taxis are all easily accessible.
Service: I had the stereotype that service industries in northern cities lack smiling service, but this place surprised me with their pleasant service.
Cons: Being an older hotel, the toilet tends to get clogged easily. Although it was quickly resolved each time, throughout my stay, I kept forgetting not to throw paper in it, which was a minor inconvenience. It would be great if this issue could be fixed.

Our overall stay was excellent. Right after booking, the front office manager proactively called us to carefully discuss and confirm our check-in needs, showing great attentiveness in their service. The hotel facilities are brand new, the rooms are well-maintained, and everything is spotlessly clean. While the location is a bit off the beaten path, the surrounding area is open and the air quality is great. The front desk staff were efficient and responsive, making the entire stay very comfortable. The overall experience exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely come back given the chance.

The glass atrium is fantastic during the day (though the lighting design at night needs improvement)! 33 years have only added rings to the trees and vines. As a junior in university (1993), I came to Beijing for an internship to learn about hotel architecture, visiting nearly 20 high-end, foreign-friendly hotels that represented China's opening to the world... This Beijing Jianguo Hotel left a deep impression. According to architectural history, it was built by an overseas Chinese American, designed like a motel. Perhaps that's why it stands out uniquely on Chang'an Avenue. Wishing them continued success!

I stayed at this hotel for three days last week for a business trip to Inner Mongolia. I'm back today and plan to stay for another week, as I prefer familiar places and don't like switching hotels. I booked a king room, but since there was no showerhead (I have a wound and can't use a shower), I asked the front desk to switch rooms. Instead of an upgrade, they downgraded me to a twin room. I even told them that I saw plenty of rooms available online, so why couldn't they upgrade me? I will never choose this hotel again. As for the dining, I thought it was good, and the restaurant staff were nice. However, the room's cleanliness wasn't great; the bath towel and floor mat were placed together, and the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. The swimming pool was pretty good, though.

The hotel has a very classic, somewhat retro vibe, still retaining the decor style of its past as a five-star establishment, so naturally, some of the facilities are a bit dated compared to modern standards. However, the overall environment is quite good. The lobby is grand, and the staff service is excellent. The concierge, front desk, and restaurant staff were all friendly and enthusiastic, making for a great experience. Breakfast is served in the revolving restaurant on the 26th floor, offering fantastic views and a good variety of dishes. It was a bit chaotic during my stay due to the crowds, but the food was replenished quickly. Given that hotel prices in Beijing skyrocket during the summer, Xiyuan Hotel's excellent location and reasonable rates make it a highly recommended choice overall.

There's a lot of room for improvement in the service. They promised fruit on the 21st floor, but the fridge was broken and completely empty (see picture). As for the restaurant: chopsticks and spoons were placed directly on the plastic placemats, which were wiped down by staff and reused, not replaced for each guest. When cleaning tables, the servers simply brushed food debris onto the carpeted floor.

A huge plus is the spacious room, which gave us plenty of freedom with the kids. The bunk beds were perfect for families with two children, haha!

The staff were all very courteous. Xiao Juan at the front desk was meticulous, attentive, and incredibly enthusiastic. The porter, seeing we had musical instruments, was extra careful when storing them, specifically putting them inside a room – big thumbs up!

The location is quiet yet central. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Zhonghai Daji Alley, and just a bit north is Zhonghua Bookstore and Ji Xiaolan's Former Residence. Further northeast leads towards Qianmen, and you can reach the Temple of Heaven in just four bus stops from right outside the hotel.

As some reviews mention, it is an older hotel, so the decor is a bit dated. The bathroom has a bathtub, and the floor is carpeted. However, considering our travel needs, it met most of our requirements. These issues are minor imperfections rather than actual problems.

Highly recommended! If you're attending a concert, this hotel is perfectly located with excellent service and a great atmosphere. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options and high-quality dishes. The room attendant was also very kind, and the room decor was absolutely to my taste.

Had a fantastic stay! The location is great, about a 20-minute drive to both the East Station and the Museum, so it's quite central. Downstairs, there's BBQ, hot pot, and Cotti Coffee, making it super convenient for food delivery – they even have robots for that! It's very quiet and the area feels safe. Plus, you can park under a covered area to protect your car from rain.

A big thank you to the lovely front desk lady who helped me get a really great room with a perfect view of the 'Corn Tower' (a local landmark). The bed was super comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and there were 4 complimentary bottles of water in the room.

The only minor flaw was that the shower head was broken and almost hit my foot.

They offer a free shuttle service to the station, which was excellent, but it's a shared ride. The other party was late, which almost made me miss my train. I'd suggest giving a heads-up if it's a shared shuttle next time. The driver was very professional, though; he rerouted us due to heavy traffic and got me to the station on time. Great service overall!

First off, the location is a bit tricky. While it's only a kilometer from the East Station, it's actually too close to easily catch a taxi. Walking 15 minutes with luggage in the summer was quite unpleasant, especially with the roads nearby being under construction, which made it even less convenient. It would be great if the hotel offered a pick-up service from the station. Secondly, the in-room drinking water was really subpar; it doesn't match the hotel's reputation at all. Thirdly, the front desk isn't on the ground floor, which is a bit inconvenient. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, and the service staff, especially the ladies, had a wonderful attitude, which significantly improved my overall impression.

The hotel is located within the Yalong Bay National 5A Tourist Resort, within walking distance of Yalong Bay Beach. The hotel also offers free scheduled shuttle buses to the beach, which is very convenient. Within 800 meters of the hotel, you'll find the Yalong Bay Yatai Night Market Street and the Baihua Valley Commercial Street, making it easy to browse the night market and commercial area after dinner. It's a peaceful escape that doesn't lack convenience, truly an oasis of calm in the bustling Yalong Bay.

Overall, my stay was very enjoyable. The hotel's excellent location, beautiful natural environment, spacious and comfortable villa, and attentive service all left a deep impression on me. The hotel offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it for anyone vacationing in Sanya. I'll definitely choose Shixi Villa Jianguo Resort Hotel first on my next trip to Sanya!

A very satisfying business trip stay! It's very close to Tianya Town, making dining convenient. The hotel is large, with a beautiful lobby, fresh air, and complete facilities. The price of just over 200 yuan is very affordable in Sanya. The rooms are quite spacious, and the balconies even have clothes racks. You can also see the beautiful sea view from the balconies. The service was friendly, and when we left, Xiao Tan at the front desk gave us a souvenir, which my child loved.
