The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. Spacious, clean, with attention to details. Great breakfast. The service is equally excellent and attentive. Have absolutely enjoyed our 5 nights stay and will definitely book again next time we are in Shanghai.

This hotel is located in the heart of Lujiazui. The overall design style embraces Chinese aesthetics, creating a truly unique and elegant Chinese living atmosphere. The moment you step in, you're captivated by the New Chinese design. The lobby, infused with the scent of wood, blends the Zen tranquility of Suzhou gardens. The space, a collaboration between Zhu & Zhou Design and 'Shang Xia,' perfectly embodies the 'heavenly circle, earthly square' Eastern philosophy, instantly whisking you away from the city's hustle and bustle.

The room is spacious and tidy, with surprising details: a high-quality Dyson hairdryer and Nespresso capsule coffee machine, elegant 'Shang Xia' toiletries, and the added comfort of a smart toilet and floor-to-ceiling windows. The extra-long vanity desk meets all your display needs, and the complimentary first round of the MiniBar is a thoughtful touch.

The service is impeccable. The front desk staff are efficient, patient, and attentive. The welcome tea upon check-in and the Dragon Pearl Pu'er tea souvenir upon departure were incredibly heartwarming. The package also included an afternoon tea, perfect for a relaxing drink with friends or family. I will definitely be returning often.

Found a real gem of a hotel! My experience here was absolutely fantastic 💯. The room was spacious and bright, and the bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, providing great privacy and making me feel very secure. The shower stall was super roomy, and the button design was incredibly ergonomic and user-friendly. It even had motion-sensing lights, which were convenient and thoughtful for nighttime use. The view from the window was also amazing, a real treat for the eyes. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

The hotel's interior is very modern with new facilities and a large mirror. My check-in experience was great. The best part was the restaurant – delicious food and a beautiful ambiance. I especially loved the noodles! The toppings were fantastic. However, the hotel's cleanliness in some details could be improved. The King Koil mattress, which they boast about, felt rather ordinary. Comfortable, but not amazing. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot despite being right next to Liucheng New World, with plenty of great food and drink options nearby. The minibar is refreshed daily with a good variety of drinks.

Bringing my little one to Chengdu, I booked the Xiyue Hotel at Taikoo Li, and the experience far exceeded my expectations! The location is superb, right next to Taikoo Li, making it incredibly convenient for strolling around and enjoying meals with the kids. The hotel boasts an elegant, minimalist Song Dynasty-inspired design, offering a tranquil yet sophisticated ambiance. What truly impressed me was the soft furnishings – everything, from the tea sets and cushions to the lamps, is from 'Shang Xia,' a brand under Hermès. Each piece exudes the warmth and craftsmanship of Eastern aesthetics. The facilities are new and thoughtfully designed, making a family stay completely stress-free. Breakfast was exquisite and delicious, and the late-night supper was both comforting and heartwarming. A special shout-out to Rita, whose service was gentle and meticulous throughout, helping us a great deal. My family all agreed that we'd definitely stay here again on our next visit to Chengdu. Highly recommended!

My three-night stay was an incredibly satisfying experience.

The front desk service was professional and efficient: check-in was quick, the staff were friendly and smiling, and they proactively upgraded me to a quiet room on a higher floor, while also providing a detailed overview of the hotel facilities.

The room itself was comfortable and spotless: it was spacious and bright, the mattress was perfectly firm yet soft, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the water pressure was excellent. The mini-bar was restocked daily, and the soundproofing was outstanding, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

Breakfast exceeded all expectations: the variety was astounding, ranging from Chinese dim sum and a live noodle station to Western pastries and baked goods. I especially recommend the local specialty, freshly pan-fried potstickers; I was awakened by their delicious aroma every morning.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, and it offers exceptional value for money. My only suggestion would be to perhaps add more fresh fruit options. Overall, it far surpassed my expectations and will be my top choice for future stays.

Furthermore, the hotel did a great job with privacy protection, ensuring a very secure and comfortable stay. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would recommend it to friends and family.
