Banff Hotels with Breakfast

The hotel facilities are quite new, the environment is beautiful, and getting around is very convenient. The town's bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and you can ride the town's public transportation for free. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is highly recommended – it's fantastic! However, the hotel does not provide slippers, toothbrushes, or other toiletries, so you'll need to bring your own or buy them at the town's supermarket.

The front desk staff were cheerful, professional, and incredibly kind. From the moment I walked into the hotel, I felt welcomed by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The kindness and hospitality of the staff were the best I experienced in Banff. My room was very clean, and I especially appreciated the hair dryer—it was the cleanest and easiest to use of any hotel I stayed at during my trip. Depending on your room, you can also enjoy beautiful mountain views. The hotel also has a great restaurant on the first floor serving delicious food, and its convenient location makes shopping easy. Overall, I felt this hotel was a wonderful place to stay and made my trip to Banff even more enjoyable.

Perfect Stay in Banff! This place has an excellent location right in Banff town, making it incredibly easy to walk to nearby stores and restaurants. The surrounding views are absolutely beautiful! On top of that, the rooms were very clean, great amenities were provided, and the on-site free parking and a gas station right outside was a huge bonus. Highly recommend!

Hotel was great. Trip.com only booked 1 room when I had booked 2. Lucky I called to get a second room secured. I wanted to change one of my rooms to 2 queens from 1 king. What a gong show. Should be simple.

The counter staff is friendly and the feeling is very comfortable. There are few breakfast options, but a simple gym is good. There is a refrigerator, microwave and bathtub, which is great. There are also many seats in the lounge on the first floor. Open-air bathing is really recommended, and it is very clean! ! I think the CP value is very high, and there is a free parking space! ! It is very convenient to drive to Banff. It is a little distance from the town, about 15 minutes walk. But overall it is still highly recommended.

The room is spacious for 4 of us, very clean and modern. The lodge is very close to the downtown, we enjoyed walking everyday to explore the city center. The indoor pool is always busy, and our room location is very far from the pool so we didn’t try the pool, but I was happy enough to have a hot tub every night in our room after the activities. The view from our room is also beautiful especially when it snows. The lodge has a spa, a hair salon, an a ski shop. I checked the price of the gloves at their shop is very reasonable. The parking garage is very convenient (although we have to pay for it). The breakfast is good with reasonable price for kids. Some front desk staffs (one Filipino lady and one local) were not friendly but most of the staffs were nice and helpful. Easy check in and check out, they provided pre-check in via whatsapp and always checked us if we need anything.

This has to be the most expensive Moxy we've ever stayed at, haha! As a Platinum member, we received a welcome drink and a $20 daily food voucher! However, the food was quite unappetizing. The outdoor hot tub was great, super warm and very relaxing when it wasn't crowded. The lobby had a lot of entertainment options. Overall, it's a relatively new accommodation in Banff. It's a bit far from Banff town, so you can't walk there. The room itself was quite basic.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean, cozy, and the staff were very accommodating from check-in until checkout. They even offered complimentary coffee and tea upon arrival which was such a nice touch. What made our stay extra special was how they surprised our son with a birthday cake and restaurant credit for his birthday. Super thoughtful and truly appreciated. The hotel feels a bit dated, but the room was spacious, neat, and tidy. The towels weren't sparkling white but were acceptable. My favorite part was the bathroom amenities—the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were amazing! The only downside was the pool hours (9 AM - 9 PM); we got back past 10 PM and couldn't use it. It would be perfect if they could extend the pool hours.

We stayed at Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff from March 26–29 with my 7-year-old daughter, and overall we had a great experience. Check-in was simple and straightforward. We arrived in the early evening, and Jason at the front desk was the most approachable and helpful hotel staff member I have ever dealt with. He remembered my daughter’s name, greeted her every day, checked in with us throughout our stay, and added little touches that made the trip feel extra special for both of us. The renovated room itself was fairly standard for a hotel room, but comfortable. Our room had two queen beds, which worked well for us. The bathroom had a shower only, with no bathtub, but that was not an issue. The pillows were big and lumpy, all 8 of the pillows in our room were too high/tall for my daughter to use comfortably. There are robes provided in the room, it would be a nice touch if they could also provide kids size robes. We had a mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee, and kettle with tea provided in the room. We ordered room service one night and tried the pulled pork poutine, which was the daily special from the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not very good, and I would not recommend it. The TV included free cable and on-demand programming, as well as pay-per-view movies. I had brought my laptop and an HDMI cord, and we were able to connect it to the TV easily to watch our own movies. Watching on-demand, my daughter discovered The Simpsons and loved it (lol) The pool area was a big highlight for us. The pool is salt water rather than chlorine. The water itself was on the cooler side, but there was also a good-sized hot tub and a large steam room. My daughter quickly made friends with another family staying at the hotel, and the kids spent multiple hours a day in the pool together. The gym was small but functional. In the four days we were there, it was empty every time we walked by. Parking is $20 per day, which does add up. There is also free street parking behind the hotel if you are able to find a spot. One fun feature in the lobby was the robot, which the kids absolutely loved. We were told that after construction is complete, it will be delivering items to guest rooms. During our stay it moved around the lobby, told jokes, and handed out free apples. The hotel was reasonably priced compared with other options in the area. I chose it specifically for the pool setup, knowing we would be spending a lot of time there, and it worked out really well for that. Shops and restaurants on the main street were about a 10-minute walk away, or you could take the bus that stops outside the neighboring hotel for $2 per ride, with kids riding free. I would definitely stay here again in the future. The price, location, rooms, and pool make this a very family-friendly hotel option in Banff. Biggest thank you to Jason at the front desk for the spectacular service we enjoyed.
