"Very friendly & obliging staff at check in & also when checking out. Room was very clean although small with too much furniture we felt. As overseas travellers with 2 large cases we had to move some of the furniture to be able to open them. There were 2 large easy chairs plus a desk chair. Also the tv which was very large was on top of a cupboard completely blocking the mirror on the wall.
The hotel is in a fairly good position about 20 minutes to the centre of town."

Beautiful hotel. Great location. 5-10 min walk from everything. We needed to clean the tea/coffee amenities and wipe down the table ourselves but no big deal. We booked a superior 2 queen room - all these types of room are all on the first floor. You should make sure to request facing inside, not outside towards the street. No view but it's quiet. Others complain about noise/privacy if facing the street on the 1st floor. One pool was closed for renovation and blocking some of the view from the roof.

Have different hotel activities for us to join to understand more about the Hotel History and Banff, say Hotel History Tour, Twilight Walk.
* hope more quota can be added
There are different restaurants for our choices, I love The Rundal, Waldhaus, The Vermollion Room, all with good scenery at window seat.
*advance reservation via online is suggested
The yoga class, gym room, outdoor hot pool, indoor pool are also good for us to have some relaxation activities!

Guest UserThe RCL was a complete surprise to me the junior suite was recently updated and was amazing, so much space with a great fireplace, large comfortable bed, attractive furnishings, coffee, fridge, ironing board, lovely robes and a swimming pool and steam room with little gym plus free apples and flavoured water in reception, would definitely stay again. Plus the only downside was the underground parking which costs $20 per night
