Homestays in Milan

Very nice and helpful people. Because of my different phone number used, I did not get the check-in procedure from them but lucky enough we arrived during the housekeeping time and met a very nice cleaning lady to help us contact the staffs and sorted everything out. Very nice and clean room with all amenities needed even with free coffee and water in the minibar. It looks just like how the photos displayed on the website. Fast and easy check in and check out. Free luggage locker in the apartment before check in and after check out. Location is pretty good, Metro M4 that goes directly to LIN airport is just around the corner and it takes only 15 min by foot to the city. But the mobile signal in the building is a bit weak, if the cleaning lady did not allow us to use the wifi, it’d be difficult for us to use our own mobile data to open the doors.

While I was still on the plane, the host messaged me on WeChat asking about my arrival. Both the husband and wife were incredibly kind and caring. I truly felt the warmth of fellow countrymen in a foreign land. The room's location is unbeatable! If you don't have luggage, you can walk from the central train station in just 3 minutes. I tried all the restaurants and the supermarket downstairs that the host recommended – they were delicious and offered great value for money! A huge thank you! The room has an elevator, good security, and excellent soundproofing. I thought it would be noisy being so close to the train station, but it was as quiet as being in the countryside. What woke me up in the morning was the birds chirping outside my window. Although it's a shared bathroom, I actually had one to myself. There's a fridge, washing machine, and kitchen, with laundry detergent and clothes drying facilities all provided. The room is cozy, and the bedding is very comfortable. This trip was a layover in Milan on my way to Iceland, so I only stayed two nights. I didn't get nearly enough of Italy's food! Thanks for taking care of me in a foreign country. Pretty good place with all necessities. 15 to 20mins walk from Milano Centrale station. Though the place was a bit easy to miss and no one answered the door bell despite telling them what time we will be arriving via Trip operator. Had to call the phone number in order for the man to come. Otherwise, pretty good place to stay.

In an apartment building, similar to a bed and breakfast. Although there is a doorman downstairs and a code lock is required to enter the room, the code is the same as the one I stayed in last year. . . . The room is quite big in Milan. Close to Central Station, in line with cost-effective expectations

Excellent staff! The reception and breakfast teams were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and always smiling. We were also thrilled with the daily room service (cleaning, fresh towels) provided without asking. The hotel was clean. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and had nice coffee. Location is great: very central, near the main station, with a bus stop right on the corner. The only drawbacks were the uncomfortably small shower (too little space for proper movement) and that not having a physical key was occasionally inconvenient when sharing the room with friends.

The apartment is very good. It is noted carefully and clean, with a pleasant atmosphere. One of the strengths is the high ceilings, which give you a great sense of amplitude and brightness. The bed is soft and very comfortable, ideal for a good rest, and the coats are soft, which is very thankful. In short, a very comfortable stay. I don't give you the 5 stars for small details that could be improved, but would surely return.

I recently stayed at the White Ribbon Hotel in Milan and had a generally positive experience. **Cleanliness**: The hotel was impeccably clean, which I truly appreciated. The rooms were well-maintained and provided a comfortable environment for relaxation. **Location**: The location is very safe, which is a significant plus. While it’s about an hour's walk from Milan Duomo, the surrounding area has its charm. The street hosts a local market every Saturday and Tuesday, offering a variety of goods at decent prices, which I found to be a delightful bonus. **Check-In Time**: The check-in time is set at 15:00, which I found to be a bit late. An earlier check-in would be more accommodating for travelers arriving in the city. **Baggage Storage**: On a positive note, the hotel offered free baggage storage, allowing me to explore the city without the hassle of my luggage. Overall, my stay was good, and I would recommend the White Ribbon Hotel for its cleanliness, safety, and convenient access to local markets, but be mindful of its distance from the city center.

The service staff are all young and energetic, their English is very good, and they can communicate easily. Everyone is enthusiastic to provide help, including carrying luggage and bags, and even helping to call TAXI. The location of the hotel is also unbeatable. Go straight, turn right, and walk 800 meters to the Duomo. Will come and stay next time

Overall the stay was pleasant! I was surprised to find the hotel hidden away in a residential building occupying only half a floor but it was definitely a very local experience you might not easily find. The historical elevator was a gem. Check-in was a bit confusing as we didn't know it was self check-in but luckily a staff was there to assist. My room initially didn't come with the key for the building's front door so as a group of 3, we had to rely on my friend's key that came with her room. A bit inconvenient but I was later provided with the key on the third day. Room was clean and tidy. Close to subway but I took the tram everyday. Would definitely come back if I'm in Milan again!
