GGuest UserYou might be a little worried if you don't know how to check in until the last minute, and if you don't speak English or Chinese.
When I arrived, the owner was very kind and helped me with a lot of things.
The kitchen window was wide open, so it was a little cold inside the building,
and the bunk beds had no curtains, so there was no private space at all,
but aside from that, the environment was very good.
There were people always occupying the living room and sofa, which are shared spaces, and I'm not sure if they were tourists or related people, but you might find it a little uncomfortable.
There were no particular cleaning rules, which are common in dormitories, and the check-out time was arbitrary, which was nice, so I felt it was a laid-back place that was typical of Chengdu.

GGuest UserThe B&B is right in the ancient city, and it is very convenient for shopping, eating, and going to the Dujiangyan scenic area. The room is decorated very distinctively. Because the boss himself is a senior traveler, the photos on the wall are naturally souvenirs of his many years of travel. The room is not big but very clean and neat and orderly, exuding a sense of relaxation and comfort without losing warmth and elegance. The first time I came to Dujiangyan for tourism, the boss came to greet me in person and introduced the precautions for visiting the scenic spots and the characteristics of the surrounding environment. I can't help but feel that the boss treats the guests as friends. During this trip to Dujiangyan, I not only appreciated the spectacular water conservancy project, but also the encounter at Zifeiyu B&B was even more memorable!

GGuest User1. Located just a few hundred meters to the right of Chengdu East Railway Station exit, this place is perfect for catching trains, for example, if you're heading to the Leshan Giant Buddha.
2. It's clean and tidy with a pleasant environment. You can do laundry, and they provide detergent, dish soap, hand soap, etc.
3. There's a dedicated dining lounge, and plenty of hot water for drinking and showering. They also have a special area for hanging clothes.
4. The room is quite spacious; the 8-person dorm had no problem accommodating all our luggage.
5. You change your own bedding (sheets, duvet cover, pillowcase) which is replaced for each guest. The bed is quite comfortable, and the bedside charging and night light are convenient. The curtains provide good privacy and block out light effectively.

GGuest UserI had a really satisfying stay here! The common areas are beautiful, the room was very clean, and I was absolutely, totally, completely thrilled with the bathroom! My roommate was also super friendly, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. If I come back to Chengdu and need a hostel, this will definitely be my top choice.

GGuest UserThis hostel is located on a quiet road near in a nice neighborhood of Chengdu. It is close to all the amenities with great restaurants at it's doorstep. The staff team was incredibly friendly and tried to accommodate us even though we don't speak the language. The rooms were spotless and equipped with an AC that quickly warmed up the room in chilly weather season. The bathroom was great and came with everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

GGuest UserStaying at SONDERIA Chengdu Wenshu Monastery (Wen Shu Yuan branch) was such a pleasant surprise! It completely changed my impression of hostels.
It's right next to Wenshu Monastery and just a few minutes' walk to the subway station.
The wooden decor has such a premium feel! The bedding is super soft, and best of all, every room has its own private bathroom with a separate wet and dry area, which is incredibly clean. It offers great privacy and a sense of security, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep.
The American retro bar on the first floor has an amazing vibe! You can grab coffee and work during the day, and in the evening, there's live music where you can enjoy a drink. There are tons of young people and international guests, making it easy to make friends even if you're socially awkward.
The 24-hour front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, and they offer free coffee, luggage storage, and a laundry room. It feels just as comfortable as staying at a friend's place!

__WeChat46435****This hostel is super close to Taishan South Road subway station, just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient to visit Chunxi Road and Wenshu Monastery. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the common areas are fantastic, with board games and a movie zone, creating a great atmosphere. It offers excellent value for money; I felt comfortable and at ease during my stay.

LLisraekenAt fhe first, I could bot find the hotel, but I talked to the owner and she was so kind and promptly videocalled me and gave me instructions how to get to the hotel which is near to the bus station. The location of the hotel is very convenient, nearby you have a park, many restaurants, pharmacy, bus station. The hotel has some local people many of them were very friendly to me, we shared the food and sit next to each other for some time and talked in chinese. The owner of the hotel can speak English and she will give the clients the best service, she is really outspoken, caring and kind. The bathroom is public, you can share it with others, you can wash your clothes and then hang it. I enjoyed my staying, it is like a dormitory, you have your own bed, but you share the room with the others as the same gender as you.

QQ.tuDuring my trip to Chengdu, I chose to stay at the Starry Sky Shuttle Hotel (Backpacker Hostel), and I had a fantastic overall experience that left a deep impression on me. For backpackers, a hostel that feels safe, has a clean environment, and a comfortable atmosphere is truly important, and this one perfectly met my expectations.
Upon arriving, the first impression of the overall environment was that it was clean and bright, without the usual cluttered or noisy feeling of traditional backpacker hostels. The common areas were very inviting, with spaces for relaxing, chatting, using phones, and planning itineraries. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, making it easy to socialize with travelers from all over.
The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful. Check-in was efficient, and their explanations were patient. They proactively introduced the hostel's facilities and even shared local Chengdu transportation routes, recommended attractions, and nearby food information. This was incredibly thoughtful for first-time visitors to Chengdu or solo travelers, immediately putting one at ease.
I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the accommodation area and the bunk beds. The bedding was clean and tidy, the mattress firmness was just right, and it was very quiet at night, leading to good quality sleep. Each bunk came with a power outlet, reading light, and storage space, which was a thoughtful design, offering both convenience and a degree of privacy – I didn't feel uncomfortable staying there at all.
The public restrooms and shower rooms were also kept very clean. Hot water supply was stable and water pressure was good, making them comfortable to use at any time of day, and there were plenty of them, so queuing was rarely an issue – a real bonus for a backpacker hostel.
The hostel's location was also very convenient, with complete surrounding amenities including many restaurants, snack stalls, and convenience stores. Getting around and finding food was hassle-free, and it was easy to reach major Chengdu attractions or public transport, making it ideal for backpackers and independent travelers.
Overall, the Starry Sky Shuttle Hotel (Backpacker Hostel) excels in cleanliness, service, and the overall living experience. It's a charming, high-value backpacker hostel. Whether you're traveling solo, with companions, or looking to meet new friends, I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Chengdu and will recommend it to my friends.
