"The views are absolutely stunning! I felt like the guesthouse itself was picturesque enough that I didn't even need to visit the other scenic spots. The cats at the guesthouse are also incredibly cute and friendly, letting you pet them. Someone even helped me with my luggage, which I really appreciated. A special shout-out to the auntie who makes the rice noodles for breakfast – they were phenomenal! Both the sour soup noodles and the clear broth noodles were incredibly delicious. It's amazing how she makes simple ingredients taste so good. And enjoying breakfast with such a beautiful view was pure bliss. Next time I visit the Miao village, I'll definitely book this place again just for those sour soup noodles!"

"The room was very clean and spacious. The owner even helped us with our luggage from the scenic viewpoint drop-off and back to the pick-up point upon check-out. On the day we checked in, they gave us a whole plate of fruit and explained how to best explore the Miao Village. They also offered free Miao traditional costume experiences, which looked very clean, but we opted for a professional makeup and styling service instead, so we didn't try them out. The breakfast was very generous, and the owner's hand-ground coffee was delicious! They thoughtfully asked if we preferred it hot or cold. All the water and drinks were also complimentary, so we didn't need to buy any in the scenic area. PS: My absolute favorite was the rocking chair in the room – I wish I could get one for my own home, hehe! The projector screen was huge, and the whole room was smart-enabled; you could easily control everything by just saying ”Xiao Du Xiao Du” (the smart assistant's name). I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends if they visit in the future! 😆"

"On this festive day, with two young children and loads of luggage, the journey into the scenic area wasn't smooth. The commercial hustle and bustle was irritating, but a simple Miao couple soothed us with a bowl of sweet soup and gentle words, calming our restlessness. I always consider myself a lucky traveler. I'd looked at guesthouses more expensive than ”Nanshanshe,” and even considered choosing one after entering the scenic area, but fate had other plans. The owners are a young couple who returned to their hometown to start a business. Hearing her casually mention, ”You're staying in the same place celebrities stay,” listening to her slowly recount the changes in the Miao village, proudly displaying Miao embroidery, and other interesting personal treasures (which I quietly added to my collection 😏)... I think I've already found what I wanted most for this trip. The location is easy to find, right on the main road after entering from the west gate. Just a short walk downhill from the shuttle bus stop, no need to climb stairs, and it avoids the noisy commercial street. The scenery is beautiful, especially the rooftop observation deck; it's a pity we couldn't stay in a top-floor room. The facilities have a homey feel, and the children's area is my older son's ”happy place”... Well, see you next time!"

"I couldn’t be happier with this hotel! Every staff member was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. Before we even arrived, they gave us multiple transportation options to reach the North Gate, where visitors purchase tickets to enter the village. They then met us at the gate, helped us buy our tickets, stored our larger luggage, and guided us through the village to our homestay. They even carried our smaller bags all the way to our room. Along the way, they encouraged me to participate in the village’s traditional welcoming ceremony and treated us to a delicious bowl of noodle soup since we hadn’t eaten yet. What really made this stay unforgettable was that they became our personal tour guide for the day. The tour was educational, fun, and perfectly paced for us. This was a special mother-and-son trip, and my son couldn’t stop talking about how exceptional the service was. Out of our multi-city journey through China, this may have been our favorite stop. To top it all off, they arranged our Didi to the train station and personally escorted us back to the North Gate when it was time to leave. Xiao Guanji and A Rui, you are simply the best! Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We’ll never forget your kindness and hospitality!"

"First, the owner and housekeeper were very nice, and the service was very thoughtful and attentive. I think when you're in a foreign place, what you most want is a warm welcome and a sense of security, and fortunately, I found both at this place. Second, the location and view. It's located halfway up the mountain, with a snack bar and jewelry store just downstairs, very convenient. The view is as shown in the picture, with a wide view, taking in most of the Miao village at night. In the early morning, with a light drizzle, it was very relaxing to sit on the balcony and eat. Finally, the cleanliness and facilities were excellent for a B&B. The bedding and bathroom were spotless, and the pillow was an Atour Deep Sleep latex pillow, surprisingly the same one I use at home. There was also a face towel at the sink, and I used Kleenex toothpaste. There were also disposable toilet and bath covers. Also, the owner's coffee shop is very romantic, and the coffee is delicious and unique. 👍🏻 All in all, I'm very satisfied with my choice and highly recommend it to everyone. I wish the owner's business prosperity, and I hope everyone who visits the Miao village has a wonderful time. 🫶🏻"

"A very satisfying stay! The owner, Brother Wang, is a seasoned guesthouse owner with experience all over the country. His service was warm, attentive, and considerate; he was always there for everyone, even offering surprising itineraries and restaurant recommendations – truly amazing! The guesthouse's decor was also very thoughtful, probably unique in the village. I wonder what surprises await after the renovations; looking forward to my next visit. Environment: Very convenient, right next to the Lusheng (a traditional reed pipe instrument) area. Service: Thoughtful and attentive."

"The hotel's facilities are pretty good, higher than expected, and the shampoo provided is good. The free water is also sweet mountain spring water, called Maojian Spring, which is better to drink. The location of the hotel is moderate, halfway up the mountain near No. 4 Fengyu Bridge. It feels great to see the lights all over the mountain at night. It takes about six or seven minutes to walk from Bridge No. 4 to the hotel. Of course, it is a climb up the eighteen bends of the mountain road. It is recommended that tourists store their luggage at the entrance of the scenic spot and then travel lightly. In Miao Village, if you want to see a good view, you have to live high. If you don't climb the stairs, you won't be able to see the good night view. It is almost the Spring Festival, the temperature is cold, and there is air conditioning, but you still need to add a quilt in the room to avoid feeling cold. It is recommended to prepare clothes as appropriate. In addition, as the Spring Festival is approaching, there is no one at the front desk, and communication is all by phone. The owner will remotely control nearby friends to solve various problems. It feels a bit ridiculous, but various problems have been solved. Overall it's okay."

"The hygiene of the boss's room needs to be strengthened. Everything else is very good. It arrived at 7 o'clock in the evening. The boss picked it up at the observation deck and upgraded it to a parent-child suite for free. The room photo was not taken because it was consistent with the hotel promotional photo.
