In a corner of Baisha Ancient Town in Lijiang, we have created a tranquil courtyard with tea as its soul and facing the snow capped mountains - Cloud in the Southern End, Snowy Cloud. This is not only a stopover during the journey, but also an immersive vacation space that combines natural wonders, Eastern aesthetics, and intelligent comfort. The homestay has an open rooftop terrace, making the stunning scenery of Yulong Snow Mountain "Rizhao Jinshan" a window painting that you can enjoy privately without running around. Pushing the door in the morning, you can welcome the moment when the first ray of golden light shines brightly on the snow capped mountains. The courtyard is carefully constructed with a three-dimensional garden that flows throughout the four seasons, adorned with ancient trees, flower walls, and tea mats. As you move, the scenery is unique, providing you with a photo taking and check-in secret place that can be found everywhere, capturing the moment of embracing nature. As a true tea culture themed courtyard, we treat our friends with tea. From waking up with tea soup in the morning, calmly brewing tea in the afternoon, to brewing tea in the fireplace at night, there are professional tea masters accompanying you. You can taste famous tea products here, share stories with travelers from all over the world, and experience the true meaning of "slow life with the fragrance of tea". We offer a variety of styles of smart rooms to meet diverse needs from solo travelers to families. Each room is equipped with a whole house intelligent system, high-speed internet, comfortable air conditioning, intelligent projection screen TV, and instant hot water circulation system, ensuring immediate warmth and convenience regardless of winter or summer, showcasing quality in every detail. Cloud is at the southern end, we sincerely invite you to stop and meet another kind of life in the fragrance of tea, under the snow capped mountains, and in the garden!
"This is hands down the best guesthouse I've ever stayed at throughout my entire trip! Its charm doesn't come from luxurious decor, but from all the thoughtful details that truly touched my heart. The moment I checked in, I instantly felt that relaxing 'home away from home' vibe.
The guesthouse itself is very new, having just been renovated and opened in September 2025 (don't ask me how I know such specific details – I had tea with the owner and heard his stories, haha!). It features a lovely little courtyard, and the entire house is spotlessly clean, so tidy and pristine you can't find a single flaw. But what really makes me want to rave about this place is how absolutely wonderful the owner is!
As soon as we arrived, he immediately offered to help with our luggage. Upon entering, he asked if we'd prefer tea or coffee, and then promptly made a complimentary latte that tasted just as good as anything from a professional coffee shop. We wanted to go take photos nearby, but taxis were hard to come by for a 2-3 kilometer distance, so the owner didn't hesitate to lend us his electric scooter. While chatting, we also enjoyed some excellent tea he brewed and heard many interesting stories.
At one point, my child, being a bit mischievous, stained the sofa with blueberries. We were so embarrassed and offered to pay a cleaning fee, but the owner completely brushed it off and didn't mind at all. Beyond that, the owner also created personalized travel itineraries for us based on our time and preferences, helping us avoid pitfalls and making our trip worry-free.
Oh, and the guesthouse also includes breakfast! Their 'zhajiang' rice noodles are absolutely divine, easily as good as those from the famous old shops in Baisha Ancient Town. Every bite was so satisfying. There are countless other heartwarming details, so many that I'm afraid people might think I'm a shill if I list them all. But honestly, if you're reading this review, just book this place without hesitation – you definitely won't regret it. It's an amazing guesthouse I'd want to revisit countless times!
P.S. Don't ask why there aren't any guest room photos; I forgot to take them once I went inside. 😂😂😂"
