"We recently had the pleasure of staying at Aston Batam Hotel & Residence as a family and it was our second visit, something that already says a lot about our confidence in this property. Once again, the experience did not disappoint. The location is excellent and very convenient, making it easy to get around and enjoy Batam without any hassle. The breakfast spread was truly impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options that catered well to both adults and children. What stood out the most was the consistency in service. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. It’s rare to find a hotel where the standards remain just as high on a return visit, but Aston Batam Hotel & Residence has clearly maintained its quality without any drop. Overall, it was another wonderful family stay, and we would gladly return again in the future. We will definitely be heading back to stay there again when we visit Batam next for our short getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a pleasant stay in Batam."

"There's some miscommunication on the booking as per booking page is either a big bed or 2 single bed. Upon booking did write the bed preference but was not fulfilled. However try to communicate with the staff and trip.com able to be assigned to 2 single bed room. There's slight leakage of the aircon, contact front desk and get it fixed. Hotel breakfast is not nice. Overall the staff is friendly n helpful, and has good location."

"One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Liked the switches, really intuitive. Sockets were international so that was great. The swimming pool was nice and clean and there was a sauna too! The staff were really friendly, from the doormen to the breakfast crew to the lady at the gym/pool area. I really hope to stay here again in the future. It's also near everything at Nagoya hill, there's a major mall right beside, laundry services nearby, etc. There's a direct link from the hotel to the mall, I only figured that out on my last day sadly. So if anyone wants to know, the mall is right behind the hotel and you can exit from the back of the hotel. Pictures wise, I only put these few as the other things are in video 😅"

"Overall, really really satisfied with this place! Booked this hotel with my family of 4. Firstly, the room we book is definitely big enough of all of us :) To be able to have dinner on a table, and having 2 toilets, is really great! SUPER big shoutout to the hotel breakfast - it is one of the best I've ever seen. Absolutely huge, and have probably everything you may expect of a southeast asian breakfast :) Regarding location, yes there are not a lot of things you can do within walking distance, but there is a small mini mart just 3 minutes walk away if you want to grab some snacks or drinks. They also provide shuttle bus service to some selected malls - which is great! We did use this service to Grand Batam Mall :) You will have to inform the concierge beforehand just so they can make sure the mini bus will have enough seats for everyone. However, a slight disappointment happened after - after we arrived at Grand Batam Mall, the driver asked if we would like a ride back later (which is so kind of him), I told him I'm not so sure yet - if I'll need one, I'll send a Whatsapp to their front desk. 30 minutes before I decided to book the mini bus back, I sent a Whatsapp which no one replied, so ended up booking a gojek back to the hotel 30 minutes later. Which makes me wonder if what was the point of the hotel having a Whatsapp haha! It would have been nice if someone replied, even if rejecting me for last minute booking, which I am totally fine with :) Nonetheless, thats the only small point I think the hotel can improve on. The rest of the staff are SOOOO friendly!!! The facilities in the hotel (gym, pool, restaurants) are also clean, looks new, and high end as these are shared facilities with the neighbouring Wyndham Panbil (5 stars). I will 100% recommend everyone to come here, and I would love to return again some day ^^"

"Amazing stay at such an affordable price! Room was clean and staff were very friendly and responsiv. There are 2 showers and 2 toilets. Location is amazing. Many good cafes and restaurants around. Convenience stores, Itsumo tart, soi by nick, batam city sq mall, si fang yuan dim sum are all in a 1-6 min walking radius. 4 of us stayed in the family room, which has a bunk bed that can fit up to 4 pax and also a master bedroom (another 2 pax). Bottled water, shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, towels and hair dryer provided. Wifi available. Lots of space to hang items up. Please bring cash for the deposit of 500,000rp."

"Thank you to the hotel for the wonderful 10th-anniversary setup! It was so thoughtful! The complimentary chocolate cake was absolutely delicious 🤤. This hotel is really great for families with babies 👍. There's a children's playground downstairs, and various forest animal decorations are integrated throughout the hotel environment. The hotel's breakfast buffet and dinner both offer excellent food quality and a wide selection! We happened to be there during Hari Raya, and they even sent cake to our room – how lovely! Plus, there's a Starbucks right downstairs!"

"Hotel is still going through some upgrading at the back of the building. Which does not affect the guest at all. Was taken aback by the height and transparent lifts welcoming us. Very grand entrance indeed. However, the colour is out dated. Is it supposed to be underwater theme or inside a ship theme. But the most distinct feature that struck my nose was the air freshener. I really don't like it. Apart from that, room was spacious, clean & bed a little soft for my liking. Toilets big and clean. But I noticed at the under side of the toilet bowl is not cleaned properly. Bathing liquid is not enough for 3 of us. Would be better if wall mounted pumps used instead of small refillable travel bottles. Breakfast spread is substantial and tasty. With the affordable price. Will definitely come again."

"I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the hotel is generally clean and the front desk staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. The room itself was tidy and the bathroom was in good condition. However, we stayed in Room 426 and had a very difficult time sleeping. The bed makes a lot of loud noise every time you turn over, which made it almost impossible to get a good night's rest. If you are looking for quality sleep, I would recommend requesting a different room. The worst part is I forgot to ask for changing another room😇😇😇"

"water leaking very badly at master bedroom ceiling. Called reception to check for upper unit , but sent house keeper to room instead. Informed house keeper Ahemad to check with upper unit , nothing was done, whole night water leaking from ceiling non stop till daytime still leaking. Cockroaches seen on the dining table, toilet bowl , toilets floors, shelfs"
