"This was my first time booking a serviced apartment, and the room was much larger than I expected. Even though the hotel is nearly 10 years old, the facilities are well-maintained. It's fully equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, kitchenware, and tableware. The toiletries were even my favorite Atelier Cologne 'Pomelo Paradis'! The hotel is also super thoughtful; it's located just 200 meters from the marathon start line, and they prepared a special 'cheer-up' breakfast pack for all guests, regardless of whether they'd booked breakfast. The cleaning lady was very warm and friendly. There's direct access from the building to the neighboring mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. This will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Dalian."

The hotel is conveniently located on Renmin Road in the city center, making it incredibly easy to get around for business. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt a wonderful ambiance; the subtle, healing fragrance instantly washed away the fatigue of my long journey. The quality of this established five-star hotel is truly evident. It's always my first choice for business trips, and this time, I particularly want to commend Lisa. She is incredibly meticulous and reliable. She proactively communicated with me about my check-in preferences, and knowing I was on a business trip, she specifically helped me reserve a quiet room not facing the street, so I wouldn't be disturbed at night or during the day while working. During check-in, she was patient and thorough throughout, making the process quick and efficient. She remembered my invoice details and prepared the invoice for me in advance. Knowing I still had work to deal with during my trip, Lisa frequently checked in on my stay, which was very thoughtful. She would proactively replenish drinking water and toiletries. Lisa not only made excellent arrangements beforehand, but also patiently helped resolve any issues I had during my stay, promptly and with a gentle attitude, never being perfunctory. I was feeling a bit tired and unwell, which is common when traveling for business, and Lisa promptly checked on me and brought hot honey water and fruit. It was truly a lifesaver and made me feel incredibly warm. Thanks to Lisa's attentive arrangements, combined with the hotel's excellent environment and service, my entire stay was exceptionally comfortable and worry-free. My biggest thanks go to Lisa; she considered every detail and was so thoughtful and meticulous, truly putting herself in the guest's shoes. The next time I come to Dalian for business, I will undoubtedly choose Shangri-La Dalian again!"

"The room facilities are quite good, and there's a smart toilet. However, the outlets on both sides of the bed in the suite bedroom are very loose. Even after having engineering come to fix them once, chargers still sometimes fall out when plugged in. If the air conditioning is on high fan speed, it makes a rattling noise, which is a bit disruptive to sleep, especially at night. During the off-season, the lounge is located in the lobby bar. Afternoon tea is set menu style and the quality is just okay. The evening service is also in the lobby bar, but one evening when I went, it was already roped off with no staff around. I had to call the front desk to get someone to come. I'm not sure if the lobby bar staff are aware that the executive lounge benefits have moved there, it's confusing. Dinner is also a set menu, with the menu changing and offering both noodles and rice – generally simple meals."

"As expected from a Marriott property, the One Castle Hotel truly showcases its sophisticated style. The amenities are excellent, with the pool and fitness areas well-maintained. The staff are professional and polite, handling all requests efficiently. I was very satisfied with both the dining and accommodation experience. The environment is elegant and the scenery beautiful. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Dalian."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right by the subway, making it super convenient to get around. I stayed in an executive room, which was spacious, bright, and had fantastic views. The bedding was comfortable, just the right firmness, really helping to relieve the fatigue from traveling. The front desk staff who checked me in was very thoughtful and specially helped me switch rooms, for which I'm very grateful! Too bad I don't know her name 🌝. "My two-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Dalian for my birthday was absolutely fantastic! From check-in to check-out, everything was comfortable and thoughtful – truly exceeded my expectations. When we checked in, the staff upgraded our room, and the view instantly became much more expansive. The floor-to-ceiling windows faced the sea and the beach, offering stunning ocean views by day and captivating nightscapes by night. The ambiance was just perfect! I was genuinely surprised the moment I opened the door – the room had a lovely, simple birthday setup. It was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the amenities were all there, making for a truly relaxing stay. I slept soundly both nights, and the service was impeccable. The staff were all so welcoming, always ready to assist with any request, and their friendly attitude felt genuine, never making you feel awkward. The breakfast spread was also incredibly diverse, with both Western and Chinese options. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was spot-on. Enjoying a satisfying meal while looking out at the sea was such a treat. The location is also unbeatable, right next to Xinghai Square, with the beach just outside – perfect for strolls and sightseeing. Thanks to the Grand Hyatt's thoughtfulness, this birthday became extra special. It felt warm and inviting, a far cry from that cold, impersonal luxury sometimes found in high-end hotels."

"One of the oldest 5* hotel in that area. The location is good with the metro station (ZhongShan) just 5min walk. There are also plenty eatery and convenience store within the 5min walk range (McDonald's, Lawson, Mixue etc). 2 metro stations away is the Qingniwa shopping area and the Dalian Train Station. Plenty of new shopping malls in this area. The room is a good size with most amenities provided. Water pressure is good for shower. Some English TV channels are available for watching. Bed and pillows are comfy. Min fridge is also provided. Pay a bit more to get a room in the West Wing if you prefer a more elevated experience. The rooms are newer and equipment are better than the East Wing. Overall a good hotel to stay in for the price if you need to be in that area."

My flight was delayed that day, and I arrived at the hotel after 10 PM. Tired and sleepy from the journey, all I wanted was to get my room key quickly, wash up, and rest. As I walked into the lobby, the lighting was soft and warm, and Wu Yulu was on duty at the front desk. Seeing me approach with my luggage, she immediately stood up with a smile and greeted me warmly: 'Hello, welcome to Dalian Hengli Grand Hotel. Do you have a reservation?' Her voice was gentle and pleasant, and her smile was particularly natural—not a forced, professional one, but one that genuinely made you feel welcome. After I gave her my name, she quickly found my reservation and, while operating the computer, confirmed my room type, length of stay, and any special requests. I had booked a standard king room, and she noticed that my membership level qualified me for an upgrade. She then proactively said, 'According to your member benefits, we can upgrade you to a sea-view king room free of charge. It's on a higher floor and quieter. Would that be alright?' This proactive consideration for the guest instantly boosted my impression of the hotel. During the check-in process, I casually asked if there were any late-night restaurants nearby. She not only told me about the closest ones but also thoughtfully reminded me, 'Most restaurants are preparing to close at this hour, but the hotel's lobby bar offers light late-night snacks. If you don't want to go out, you can just head over there and give them your room number.' Such attention to detail made me feel that she wasn't just doing her job but genuinely helping guests solve problems. After receiving my room key, she proactively explained the breakfast times and location, the gym's operating hours, and even reminded me that if I had an early flight the next day, I could pre-order a packed breakfast. After all this, she didn't rush me away but smiled and asked, 'Is there anything else I can help you with?' I shook my head, and only then did she hand over the room key and wish me a pleasant stay. Throughout the entire process, her tone was consistently gentle and her actions efficient, without the slightest hint of impatience despite it being late at night. Later, due to a change in my work schedule, I needed to extend my stay by one night. When I went to the front desk the next day to renew, it happened to be Wu Yulu on duty again. Before I could even finish speaking, she recognized me and proactively said, 'Was your check-in yesterday smooth? If you need to extend your stay, I'll check the room availability for you.' After confirming a room was available, she quickly processed the extension, and I was able to keep the sea-view room. As I left, she softly reminded me, 'The temperature difference between morning and evening is quite large in Dalian these days, so you might want to bring a jacket when you go out.' It was this kind of thoughtful care that truly warmed the heart of a traveler on a solo business trip. On checkout day, I was in a rush and accidentally left my charger in the room. I only realized it at the airport. With a 'nothing to lose' attitude, I called the hotel. It was Wu Yulu who answered, and after hearing my situation, she immediately said, 'Please don't worry. I'll contact housekeeping right away to check your room, and I'll call you back once we find it.' Five minutes later, she called back to say it had been found and that they could courier it to my designated address. She even proactively added me on WeChat to send me the tracking number. This kind of follow-up service truly exceeded my expectations. I've stayed in many hotels, and many of them have excellent facilities.
