"The hotel is conveniently located with a supermarket nearby. The shampoo was terrible. The kitchenware in the room was complete, but when I checked in, the kitchen utensils and dishwasher were not clean. The pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The front desk staff varied in quality; most were friendly and would proactively help guests with luggage by opening elevator doors, etc. However, there was one white female staff member whose attitude was consistently bad throughout my several-day stay. I don't expect overly enthusiastic service, but her negative mood was palpable. Not only was her attitude poor, but her work was also very unprofessional. When I checked in, she entered the wrong deposit amount. When I first pointed it out, she didn't react. She also didn't give a clear answer when I asked if she could merge my orders, nor did she remind me to reactivate my room card the next day. The worst part was baggage storage: she mixed up the luggage tag number and the claim receipt! If our passports hadn't been in the suitcase, allowing us to prove our identity, I don't know how that situation would have been resolved! Extremely irresponsible and unprofessional. I had a very pleasant experience staying at Locke hotels in other cities, which is why I chose this brand again in London. I was very disappointed this time."

"We were among the first guests after the hotel opened, so we were a bit nervous. However, despite being a new hotel, the materials used were excellent and high-quality, with no strange smells. The service was fantastic and warm; everyone was super nice, especially the lobby manager and Gabriel. The manager helped us upgrade our room, and because of a minor issue with the room, they also gave us complimentary breakfast (which was delicious). Gabriel was constantly helping us out, making sure our stay was comfortable. Staying here was the happiest and most comfortable part of our London trip. We'll definitely stay here again next time! They will give you an unforgettable and wonderful experience."

"First time staying at Otherwander! The QR key system was really weird to use at first but the staff were really helpful on explaining how it works. Everything feels secure because you have to open the front door, inside gates and a second door on your floor before being able to unlock and enter your pod. I booked a single pod which was surprisingly roomier than I expected and the storage tray, hooks and table meant I could store my backpack and extra bags easily in my pod. The pod also has a brilliant AC system, USB A and USB C plug as well as a regular plug socket in the cubby for your shoes (where you also get free slippers!) and theres a towel rail with a free towel to use as well! The bathrooms all seemed really clean and I didn’t try the showers this time but they looked clean and spacious and the vending machines for food and drink on the ground floor were really convenient (but a tad expensive given you can go to a tesco across the street and get the same thing cheaper!) Overall I had a really nice first stay - the location is right by the Elizabeth line station for Tottenham Court Road so its really centrally located which was only a downside when a loud, shouty group of people were on my floor at 3AM and woke me up - but it only proved how good the soundproofing was as it only sounded like light chatter and they were practically shouting full volume! Perhaps the pillows could be thicker or an option for an extra one would be nice and the mattress was a bit firm but overall I’d stay here again - it felt worth the upgrade for a bit more comfort and security compared to the Zedwell Capsule hotel not too far away."

"This is the best hotel I've stayed at in London, and I've visited many times! This hotel just opened in 2026, and I boldly booked it because I'd previously stayed at another hotel from the same brand in Hangzhou. The hotel environment is exceptionally good – it's only about a 5-minute walk to a subway station, and there's a huge shopping mall and supermarket nearby! All sorts of restaurants are also available! The room was super clean and comfortable! I highly recommend it! Even if you want to visit major attractions, it's only a few subway stops away! All the front desk staff were young, vibrant, and very friendly! Since my flight was at 6 or 7 PM, I asked if I could have a late check-out. The hotel staff kindly extended my check-out until 2 PM, and my children and I had a wonderful stay here! I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in London!"

"Really handy if you need to catch an early morning Eurostar as it’s a 5 minute walk from the hotel to Farringdon station. Self check-in via a screen in the lobby. Great for a night’s stay, no frills. Was given an accessible room even though I didn’t request one so not sure what the other rooms and bathrooms are like. Really didn’t enjoy the smell of the toiletries as I wanted to gag every time I used the hand soap when I washed my hands - so opted to use my own shower gel etc. Maybe some will like it but I didn’t. Otherwise like I said, good for a night if you have an early morning train to catch."

"Good location, especially for concerts that take place in Fairfield Halls. Spacious rooms and multitude of channels in the telly! This part of London is not too grate but the stay os well worth its price."

"The hotel has a convenient location and the room was clean and well-maintained. However, the room size is small, and the washbasin area is very cramped, although this was within my expectations. My main issues are with the price and service: The recent rate is very expensive.（over £160 per night, which is far above what you’d expect for a Express hotel with tiny room） The service is inflexible, with very strict check-in and check-out times. Even though I checked in late in the evening, I was still urged to check out on time. At 11:15 I was phoned once and knocked on twice to be hurried. And They refused to store my luggage after check-out. Overall, convenient location but overpriced with poor, inflexible service."

"The room was a bit small; my luggage took up the whole pathway once opened. The bathroom counter was also tiny, with no space for toiletries. As a new hotel, the facilities are good, and the staff are very diligent. What puzzled me about this upscale hotel was the lack of bottled water. You had to go out of the room with an empty cup to get purified water from the hallway. It's a shame I missed breakfast due to catching a flight. Given its location, this new hotel really could do better."
