New Hotels in London

"The hotel is conveniently located with a supermarket nearby. The shampoo was terrible. The kitchenware in the room was complete, but when I checked in, the kitchen utensils and dishwasher were not clean. The pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The front desk staff varied in quality; most were friendly and would proactively help guests with luggage by opening elevator doors, etc. However, there was one white female staff member whose attitude was consistently bad throughout my several-day stay. I don't expect overly enthusiastic service, but her negative mood was palpable. Not only was her attitude poor, but her work was also very unprofessional. When I checked in, she entered the wrong deposit amount. When I first pointed it out, she didn't react. She also didn't give a clear answer when I asked if she could merge my orders, nor did she remind me to reactivate my room card the next day. The worst part was baggage storage: she mixed up the luggage tag number and the claim receipt! If our passports hadn't been in the suitcase, allowing us to prove our identity, I don't know how that situation would have been resolved! Extremely irresponsible and unprofessional. I had a very pleasant experience staying at Locke hotels in other cities, which is why I chose this brand again in London. I was very disappointed this time."

"Absolutely loved this hotel! The location is fantastic – right in the heart of everything yet surprisingly quiet. It's super convenient for getting anywhere. Russell Square is right opposite, and the British Museum is just a short walk away. There's a popular bakery (Pret), KFC, and a supermarket nearby. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and friendly, and the service was excellent. Even though our room faced the street, we didn't find it noisy at all."

"Best location. Very expensive but it has ac and central location with 24/7 metro on weekends. Next to a metro station one min walk. One min walk to tesco. But in rough soho area. Dirty street after major event. Requires $25 pounds early check in or check out so it is really pricy. Showers were blocked lead to flooding so this must be fixed by hotel. Staff friendly.free water which is a big plus. Clean toilet. The only thing is i left a mirror in bathroom it was stolen next day. But it is my own fault. Afterall it is a hostel. Somehow i hope it stays pricy because it can maintain its quality. Other cheaper pod hotel i saw in central london has bed bugs. This one doesnt have bed bugs for now and hope it stays that way with this price."

"Arrived past 10 PM, and from the moment I checked in, I was incredibly satisfied. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy. Breakfast offered both buffet and à la carte options. The air conditioning was super quiet, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. My first impression of London started with this Indigo hotel, highly recommend it! 👍👍👍👍👍 I even extended my stay for another two nights."

"Really handy if you need to catch an early morning Eurostar as it’s a 5 minute walk from the hotel to Farringdon station. Self check-in via a screen in the lobby. Great for a night’s stay, no frills. Was given an accessible room even though I didn’t request one so not sure what the other rooms and bathrooms are like. Really didn’t enjoy the smell of the toiletries as I wanted to gag every time I used the hand soap when I washed my hands - so opted to use my own shower gel etc. Maybe some will like it but I didn’t. Otherwise like I said, good for a night if you have an early morning train to catch."

"Good location, especially for concerts that take place in Fairfield Halls. Spacious rooms and multitude of channels in the telly! This part of London is not too grate but the stay os well worth its price."

"1. The location is super convenient, right outside Victoria tube station, train station, and bus stops. The train station has a direct line to Gatwick Airport, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere. 2. There are musicals nearby, and the street downstairs has Korean restaurants, stir-fried noodles, and supermarkets. Although there are quite a few homeless people around Victoria Station, you can just walk past them quickly. The latest we returned to the hotel was 10 PM, and I personally felt it was very safe. 3. The hotel's price offers good value for money compared to others in the area. The room is small, but there's enough space for two people's luggage. The bed is large, and the water temperature and toilet flush work great. The soundproofing is excellent. Check-in, check-out, and even room cleaning can all be done self-service. There's an iPad in the room where you can schedule cleaning. The breakfast is abundant; even though it's the same every day, we stayed for a week and didn't get tired of it. The staff are very polite and enthusiastic, especially the young lady with the nose ring – I can't spell her name, but I really liked her. 4. The hotel provides shower gel, hand soap, etc., and a hairdryer. You'll need to bring your own water cup and slippers. Mineral water was provided on the first day, and after that, you could refill it in the lobby downstairs, which I found very convenient. 5. Overall, a five-star experience, no complaints!"

"The room was a bit small; my luggage took up the whole pathway once opened. The bathroom counter was also tiny, with no space for toiletries. As a new hotel, the facilities are good, and the staff are very diligent. What puzzled me about this upscale hotel was the lack of bottled water. You had to go out of the room with an empty cup to get purified water from the hallway. It's a shame I missed breakfast due to catching a flight. Given its location, this new hotel really could do better."

"The location is excellent, right outside the subway station, and check-in was a breeze with the self-service kiosks. The room window was sealed shut, but it didn't feel stuffy at all. The blackout curtains and soundproofing were great. The only downside is that the room is a bit narrow; it felt quite cramped with two 24-inch suitcases open. We booked for four nights and requested room cleaning once, but they didn't even replenish the water bottles, providing only two in total for our entire stay, which was a bit disappointing."
