Real five-star hotel, super good location, and service. Every floor of the hotel uses different colors to give the guests a good experience. If you don't consider the price, you will definitely come again.

Overall, the hotel is pretty good. It's less than 100 meters from the subway station. From Heathrow, take the Elizabeth Line to Custom House, then transfer to the DLR and go one stop further east. The hotel is right outside the station (Google Maps' route suggests walking 1km without transferring). It takes about half an hour to get to the city center. There might be some payment delays when using Visa and Mastercard credit cards issued by mainland Chinese banks at the hotel.

Three stars. Two stars are to thank the two very friendly gentlemen who served us at the bar after 11 PM on July 18th, and one star is to thank the concierge for always being so responsible and helping us with our luggage. This was not a particularly pleasant experience. I booked the ”Premium Double Queen Room” for one night. Upon entering, I noticed the room looked different from what was shown on Trip.com. I informed the front desk staff, and he explained that the website photos displayed the city-view version, and since we were only staying for one night, they couldn't give us that specific room. He also claimed the room we received was the same size. However, when I checked Trip.com again carefully, I discovered that our room was not the 33-square-meter Premium Room at all, but rather a standard twin room measuring only 24 square meters. Although I appreciate the front desk gentleman offering us two bar vouchers, we still couldn't hide our disappointment upon returning to the room. I felt deceived because the room we received was far from what we had been eagerly anticipating. It was so small that our family of three couldn't even fully open all three of our suitcases. That being said, it is worth mentioning that the two gentlemen working at the bar that night treated us with great hospitality. Thanks to them, our stay that evening was left with some beautiful memories. I sincerely suggest that the hotel provide honest photos of the actual rooms for future guests' reference when booking, rather than brushing us off with arbitrary internal rules that we couldn't possibly see during the booking process. Charging nearly £550 for such a night left me deeply disappointed. This was our family of three's last night in London, and the one we were looking forward to the most out of our 5-day, 6-night trip. It is truly a shame that it ended in disappointment.

Great service! They upgraded our room when we checked in, which was a nice surprise. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the location is fantastic for getting to Soho and other areas. The turndown service was a thoughtful touch. The facilities are a bit old but fully functional. The only downside is the lack of a refrigerator.

Everything was as expected. Location good, 2 mins from Holburn and 10 from TCR. Room contained all the usual stuff expected, excluding an exfoliator which wouldve been nice. Tea was good, nice selection and excellent taste (though one of the days they did forget to provide additional tea bags). Fresh (semi skimmed) milk also in the fridge was appreciated. Only 1 annoying issue - room light control is done via the TV. The last thing you want to have to do before sleep is configure something on a bright white screen. Changing the display to dark mode or automatically reducing darkness when its late or when most of the room lights are dim would fix this issue. Other than that service was all good, staff very helpful.

Overall, a positive experience at Residence Inn, though some points need addressing. We appreciated getting an accessible room, as we were traveling with a person with reduced mobility (I had requested one during booking, but it wasn't noted. Luckily, a room was available on our arrival day). The studio was spacious. However, a word of caution: if you book a triple studio, the space might quickly feel small for a stay longer than 3 nights (ours was 10 nights). The location is okay: central in a quiet neighborhood. A bit far from the tube (about a 10-minute walk). Bus lines are nearby, which is convenient for getting around London. A Tesco 3 minutes away, which is very much appreciated. A big plus: washing machines and dryers available in the hotel. Pro tip: buy a small bottle of detergent; it'll be cheaper than the £1 pods sold at reception. The premises were modern, and the rooms have no carpets (a big plus) and are air-conditioned. We were there during London's heatwave and had no temperature issues. The bedding is comfortable, and the double bed is spacious. The sofa bed, a little less so. HOUSEKEEPING was not satisfactory: a lot of dust accumulated throughout our stay. Another downside: our door handle was broken. We had someone come on the first day to fix the immediate issue of us being stuck inside. I was then assured they would send someone to repair the handle: no news for the entire stay. The door was very difficult to open, so you couldn't be in a hurry. And this problem could have had serious safety consequences in case of an emergency evacuation... A bit shocking for a hotel of this standing. The breakfast was just acceptable - the quality wasn't necessarily there, and for a long stay, you get tired of it quickly. For the price, I admit I expected a slightly higher standard of service.

I appreciate the service from all staffs of this amazing hotel. During our visit, they always treat us so kindly. The hotel is located at the center of London, close to Trafalgar Square and Chinatown, which means that you could take public transport to any attraction in London. I highly recommend anyone visiting London to choose this hotel!

This review is based on the price point and the value provided . The comms from the property were excellent , check in was very straight forward and easy , upon arrival the room was in excellent condition and very clean. The room itself is small but comes with a kitchen , at the price this was very acceptable , considering the proximity to the tube . You can be in central London within 10-15 mins and the olympic park is also very close. This is an excellent option for travellers on a budget needing a base to explore London . It is not the fault of the property , but the close proximity to street level makes it a bit difficult for light sleepers and we could hear every movement of the noisy guests above us. Overall a very nice stay , thanks to the property for their efforts.

There were hairs on the bed of all different colours, the bathroom was dirty and had half used products still in it. The kettle and TV didn't work, which was very disappointing. Tea and Coffee provided was in a plastic lunchbox that had a used, broken stirrer in. Overall, was not worth the £50 I paid for the night. Either needs to be deep cleaned or price needs to decrease
