New Hotels in Almaty

"The hotel is new and nice but also has some problems. We had a room at the back of the hotel, the view is awful. Our window was opposite an orange generator that was noisy andd blew choking fumes into the room. The hotel is also not finished and we had workmen going up and down in a lift from 8am at the side of our bedroom window. What is also strange is the bedroom doors open outwards into the corridor, so you have to be careful not to hit anyone as you open the door. Breakfast tastes nice but most of the dishes of hot food options are always nearly empty and not replenished. What is there is actually cold. One morning nobody bothered to put out any sugar for the coffees and there were often no cups available. The spa is very nice but staff in there are not particularly friendly and there are no opening hours for it anywhere. The staff at the reception however were very polite and friendly as is the man who greets you at breakfast. As we left they came back to us suggesting that we had used the mini bar in the room which we had not but they then said it was ok. Its also surprising for a new hotel that the hot water in the shower constantly changes temperature, you set it just right and within 2 minutes it swings between cold and too hot. The showers in the spa did the same. Overall the hotel looks nice but has some real teething problems and the view behind the hotel is just not acceptable. I personally wouldn't stay there again."

"Far from the center, Tole Bi Street is always jammed with traffic, and so are the buses. Breakfast is inedible. There's no elevator; if you have health issues, only the first floor. There's no light by the beds; the general light only turns on when you enter. Internet access is available, so if you need to access it, you can do so through your account."

"Facilities: Just as good as advertised, especially the large bathtub in the bathroom – a real highlight. Hygiene: Cleaned thoroughly every day. Environment: Elegant, comfortable, and cozy. Service: The owner is very welcoming, the front desk service is attentive, and the breakfast is plentiful."

"The room is very small, but cozy. There is everuthing you need for comfort living. Everything is automated: you can check in and out anytime you need because it is contactless. Location is also good."

"I cannot begin to show all my gratitude towards this amazing hotel and its staff! I had all my flights canceled due to the war activities in the Middle East and I booked a flight to Almaty as a 30 hour layover. The hotel helped me as follows: 1) when I landed they sent me an email with instructions how to get to them safely with the proper cab service; 2) they had 24 hour reception services, called me another cab to return and even paid for it on their behalf, since I did not have the currency! Apart from this, it is crystal clean, the food was amazing, the restaurant works until 01:00 am, they have a typical sauna and everything. I really, really enjoyed my time there, and on top of this it’s so, so affordable!"

"A new hotel located in a residential area of ​​Soviet-era buildings. We needed a hotel near the Sairan bus station. There's a store, a pastry shop, several fast food restaurants, and a cafe within 5 meters of the entrance, but I didn't see any places to stroll. There's a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains during the day. A pleasant young man checked us in quickly. Everything in the room was fresh and working. This four-star hotel had the whitest towels. Before this, we stayed at one hotel in Tashkent and three in Malaysia. The terry robes were also like new. A good shower, an electric heated toilet, heated floors, and an expensive sink. Thick, clean carpeting in the room and hallway. A French balcony and a well-stocked minibar. The bed was comfortable. Two comments: the pillows and the room decor (everything is beige, looks depressing and cheap, although it's clear that several hundred thousand rubles were spent on the bathroom). The walls in the room and the curtains don't match the bathroom. We didn't have breakfast; we left early. I saw the cafe - it's beautiful."

"I stayed for one night during a layover. I was upgraded to a higher room category than I booked, which was spacious and even had complimentary bottled water. The facilities were good overall. However, I could hear conversations from the next room, possibly due to thin walls, and the breakfast, being a halal menu, had limited options, which was a bit disappointing."

However, I booked my second night's stay on the same day and told the front desk, but they canceled my order and changed the price to a higher one, telling me to rebook through Ctrip or book directly at the front desk. This is incredibly dishonest and untrustworthy. They're not going to make a fortune by raising the price by 20-30 RMB, so why be so disgusting? No problem, I have coupons on Ctrip, so I won't argue. Even foreigners can be cunning. Also, there's no refrigerator in the kitchen, so it's inconvenient if you buy food and can't store it."

"The hotel's location is excellent, making it quite convenient to get around. The breakfast is Chinese style and very good; you can even order beef noodles à la carte from Monday to Friday, and the portion is generous. All the staff can speak Chinese and are very welcoming. The room is clean, and from the third floor, you can even see the snowy mountains – very nice!"
