The hotel rooms, however, are relatively new, being in a newly opened location. With breakfast included, the price is reasonable, considering the hotel's relatively new interior."

Don't compare American hotels to Chinese standards; there aren't high service expectations here. Overall, the value for money is decent, and it's a good choice if you're going to watch the US Open."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, and the breakfast is pretty good too. Even though the room is a bit small, it's very functional. The lobby on the first floor is really cozy, and you can even get some work done on the second floor!"

"Today, I booked a larger room (28 sqm), which was much more comfortable than the smaller ones, though of course, the price was also significantly higher. The hotel is brand new, and the facilities are excellent. The shower, in particular, had fantastic water pressure. The soundproofing in the room was also good, and there was a coffee machine. Breakfast was a bit basic. However, most hotels below four stars in New York don't offer breakfast, so you usually have to go out and find food yourself. The surrounding area isn't as good as south of 121st Street, but it's very convenient to take the subway downtown."

"Brand new hotel – I stayed March 2026, in the first few weeks after it opened. Very clever layouts makes the most of the small rooms. Modern attractive design distinguishes the rooms from other hotels in the area. Overall a great choice, HOWEVER there are a few growing pains that I hope the hotel takes care to address: - The shower is *warm-ish*, but not *hot*. Both my wife and I found this unpleasant; we were hoping for a more relaxing shower. - The shower leaked incredible amounts of water into the rest of the bathroom. There was no barrier under the door to keep the water inside. - The elevator beeps on every floor it passes. Every room is near the elevators, so mornings and evenings you just hear a constant refrain of ”beep... beep... BEEP... beep... beep... BEEP... beep...” as the elevators stay busy moving guests around. I hope the hotel can get their elevator guy to disable this pointless beeping, or at least make it quieter. Overall it was still a great stay, and definitely my favorite hotel in the area – better than the Ace Hotel, the nearby Hilton, and Holiday Inn – though it could have been amazing had these growing pains been addressed."

"Located next to the metro line J, 20mins to manhattan downtown. The neighborhood feels a bit chaotic. There’s a bar on the ground floor and it gets noisy at nights. The room is not soundproof as I could hear clearly the tv program played in my neighbor’s room. Other than that, it’s a decent place to stay for budget solo travelers. Rooms are cleaned by default on a daily basis (as my main travel destination is Europe, where it would typically require an explicit indication if daily cleaning is needed.) The receptionist Raj was very nice and gave me a voucher for two drinks as a welcome gift."

"Great stay at YOTEL New York Times Square. The vibe felt modern, efficient, and a little futuristic. The rooms are clean, sleek, and surprisingly comfortable, especially the adjustable SmartBed—it was perfect for relaxing after a full day exploring the city. The floor-to-ceiling windows also added a great touch, letting in tons of natural light and offering a cool view of the city. One of the highlights was definitely the location. Being so close to Times Square made it incredibly convenient to get around. The rooftop terrace is a great spot to unwind and take in the skyline. The overall atmosphere of the hotel feels energetic yet comfortable, making it a great fit whether you’re visiting for fun or business. All in all, great recommendation by Trip.com."
