Liyu Yousu is located next to the bustling theater and wubu town in Yangshuo County, about 1km away from the well-known West Street, about 1km away from Shili Gallery scenic spot and 850m away from Yangshuo bus station. The surrounding scenic spots have Yulong River, eternal love, impression of Third Sister Liu, Ruyi peak, Yinyan and so on. The transportation is very convenient. All rooms of the hotel are designed with the functional layout of the resort hotel, with independent shower, dry and wet separation and open toilet, which solves the problems of daylighting, ventilation and exhaust. It is more convenient and comfortable to use and more fashionable in sense. In terms of decoration style and soft clothing, it is more simple and fashionable, so that you can have a leisurely and comfortable after high-rhythm work, and have beautiful company with your family during the holiday life.
"It was a fantastic stay at this gem. Right in the heart of West Street , easy to get to anywhere.
We arrived early and our room was not ready. Girls at the reception were super helpful and upgraded us to a beautiful two level room on the 7th floor.
Modern , clean , roomy , VERY comfortable bed a nice bath with a nice view. Oh and nice thick towels š
Customer Service was 10/10 , I contacted them on Wechat after I booked with many questions and that was never a problem to them.
They were also so very helpful to book tickets for us on our arrival for Hot air balloon and Ruyi Peak with a discount price.
We wanted to travel around on a scooter, the lovely girl from the reception offered advices and options to hire a longer or shorter distance scooter. Not only that she personally took us to get one. We had a great deal for one to use for the whole day , return before mid night for 50Y .
Overall it was a superb stay . If there is one thing they can improve on , maybe an easy instruction on how to use their projector .
A very enjoyable stay and I highly recommend it to all .

JJingcaixiaoyaojingThe room was quite spacious and had a balcony with a glimpse of the Li River, which was a pleasant surprise. The room facilities were well-planned and functional. The inn's decor was stylish, with a Chinese aesthetic that made every photo-op Instagram-worthy ā perfect for ladies in traditional outfits. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and spoke excellent English, which explains the high number of foreign guests and the great atmosphere. Their ground-floor restaurant has been on the 'must-eat' list for several years running and is very famous and popular locally, with long queues every day ā definitely give it a try. Hotel guests get a 10% discount, and remember to ask the front desk to arrange a table for you to skip the queue, otherwise, you'll be waiting forever.

LLuzMI absolutely loved Valley House for its location, cleanliness, exquisite taste, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and spotlessly clean. The views are unbeatable: the Li River is just a few meters away, and the famous mountains depicted on the 20 yuan banknote are right in front of the hotel. You just have to cross the street to rent a scooter. If you walk about 15 meters further down towards the Li River, you can book a bamboo boat ride, join a fisherman to observe the ancient practice of cormorant fishing, or simply stroll and relax along the bank. Every day, they offer a complimentary assortment of fresh fruit, and at the dining area counter, a variety of homemade beverages, such as homemade lemonade, freshly ground coffee, or date and ginger tea, are available 24/7.
They also prepare delicious dishes upon request. The menu is quite extensive and includes vegetarian options, but meals need to be reserved before 9:30 PM the day before.
The staff is exceptionally attentive, kind, and highly empathetic, something I had genuinely started to miss during this nearly month-long trip. Suffice it to say that every day, after feasting on their delicious dinners, they would offer me a small bowl of red bean paste soup, just in case I was still hungry. And this is just one example among many of the warm human touch provided by the staff at this hotel. Besides five stars, they deserve a five-heart rating. A real gem and, without a doubt, the best accommodation of this entire trip. I will never forget you. š„°

GGuest UserThe view from Room 01 in Building 6 is absolutely stunning, with expansive vistas. I found myself wanting to stay in the hotel all day! The service was excellent; the butler would inform us daily about activities and snacks, and even helped deliver takeout to our room. It's newly renovated, so the room environment is great, with smart facilities and excellent hygiene. The location isn't its strongest point, as there aren't many food options nearby, but getting around by taxi is actually quite convenient. It's only about a fifteen-minute drive to West Street, making dinner plans easy. Breakfast was average ā nothing special, but no complaints either. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended! Oh, and a big plus: the hotel didn't push for good reviews in exchange for gifts at checkout.

GGuest UserMy trip to Yangshuo with my mom was made perfect by choosing the Fada Hotel. The owner has excellent taste, having built this hotel in such a scenic spot. I saw a phrase during breakfast, 'contemplation leads to enlightenment,' which I guess explains the name Fada Hotel. Plus, the young lady who checked us in at the front desk was lovely. The hotel windows offer a landscape painting view, and there's one spot with a view that makes you think of a fairyland.
The Half-Mountain Cafe is full of young girls taking photos, and of course, old 'aunties' like me. Personally, I found the infinity pool below to be the most relaxing. There's a shuttle service always available to take you from the accommodation area to the public areas. All in all, this is a highly recommended hotel, and I think it's a must-stay when visiting Yangshuo. Additionally, the hotel has a partnered travel photography service that offers three free photos, and the young man who helped us with photo selection later was great.

First things first: More than just accommodation, it's a destination.
Yangshuo boasts countless hotels, but Jiyun Shangyuan is an utterly underrated 'heavenly guesthouse'. This stay offered a complete cure for the senses ā visual, taste, and soul. Itās truly a perfect hotel with no flaws!
Reason for a perfect score one: Divine views that 'frame' the karst landscape into your room.
The hotel is located in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street, enjoying its own tranquil space.
Our room featured a floor-to-ceiling glass window spanning an entire wall. Honestly, photos don't capture even a tenth of its beauty! The misty green hills of the Yulong River unfold before you like a dynamic IMAX movie. It truly lives up to 'open the window to a view, sleep under the moon, and wake with the sunrise'. Lying in bed gazing at the mountains and waters, or watching stars from the balcony bathtub ā this ultimate sense of relaxation is something no other scenic spot along the Li River can offer.
Reason for a perfect score two: Heartfelt service that treats guests like 'family'.
The service here could easily be a textbook example for the industry. If 10 is a perfect score, I'd give it 100 points.
From the butler's proactive contact after booking to the warm reception upon arrival, the entire process was smiling and efficient. When the Li River was flooding, the butler constantly reminded us to be safe. When our child wanted local fruit, the butler thoughtfully provided some. After playing in the water, our clothes got wet, and there's a self-service laundry room. We even forgot our clothes in the laundry, and the butler kindly delivered them to our room. This feeling of 'everything is handled, every need is met' is truly more touching than the standardized service of a five-star hotel.
Reason for a perfect score three: Culinary delights and high-end amenities.
Regarding dining, the Chinese breakfast offered authentic Guilin rice noodles, while the Western breakfast perfectly blended with Lipu taro and pumpkin. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and the coffee at Cloud Restaurant was top-notch, with the Basque cheesecake being unforgettable. The lighting in the restaurant also helps for great photos.
In terms of amenities, the hotel spared no expense: King Koil mattresses, Kohler sanitary ware, Dyson hairdryers, and even a thoughtful self-service laundry room. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, showing attention to detail. It offers the warmth of a guesthouse while maintaining five-star hotel hardware standards.
Reason for a perfect score four: Immersive local cultural experiences.
This place isn't just selling scenery; it's dedicated to sharing culture. The hotel is filled with Zhuang elements. Beyond beautiful decor, you can also enjoy free photo shoots in traditional Zhuang attire. Against the backdrop of the infinity pool and the mountains, every shot looks like a magazine cover.
Furthermore, activities like hand-sewing embroidered balls and making oil tea kept both adults and children engaged. Families with kids don't need to worry about boredom, as the children's playground and pool are enough to tire out the little 'beasts'.
Final thoughts: We'll be back.
Our stay happened during heavy rain, but after the rain cleared, the scenery was even more beautiful. Regardless of the weather, Jiyun possesses a different charm. We even felt a little reluctant to leave. Just like its name suggests, there's an ethereal, otherworldly quality here, yet it's filled with the warmth of home.
If you come to Yangshuo, you must 'waste' your time at Jiyun Shangyuan.

Ā· We recommend booking a panoramic room type or a family room for the best views.
Ā· Definitely try the hotel's electric bicycle rental; the Ten-Mile Gallery is right at the doorstep.
Ā· The hotel is very close to the Yulong River rafting (Shuidi section), within walking distance, which is very convenient.

GGuest UserMe and my wife stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful accomodation. The room was very tidy and has everything you need. We didn't use the bathtub but it is a nice feature. The beds are comfortable and the nights were quiet. It was not high season so I am not sure how it would be if all rooms were booked. Sometimes in the morning we heard some noise from the hallway but it did not bother us.
The Inn is located out of the city at the edge of a small town. I really liked it as you can go everywhere very easily with the e-scooters that you can rent with the Inn. Driving around Yangshuo was very convenient, with beautiful scenery everywhere.
We also enjoyed the breakfast a lot! They serve a nice light soup with Guilin rice noodles. Also there is more vegetables, dumplings and some cake you can choose from. We also had lunch and dinner multiple times which was all very delicious! Don't skip it! Also they have a nice frontyard where you can enjoy your meals or drinks from the bar.
Above all, the staff is incredibly kind and even though there is a language barrier, they put lots of effort in helping us. They helped us booking our activities and providing us with all the information to make sure we would enjoy our stay to the fullest. Xueying helped me practice some Chinese while I helped our with her English. She is extremely kind, so don't hesitate to come and book this accomodation as I am sure you'll have a great stay!

After booking, the hotel contacted us in time and left WeChat for communication and consultation. The waiters we met were very enthusiastic. The accommodation was quiet, clean and hygienic. The hotel has a small courtyard, and it is very pleasant to sit in the courtyard and enjoy the cool air. We rented an electric car at the hotel and traveled around the mountains and rivers with pleasure. There are many internet celebrity check-in spots around, and the photos are very good. We originally booked a two-day stay and then extended it for one more day. The overall experience was very good after three days, and it is worth recommending.
