"The room is quite spacious, and the shower and toilet are completely separate. The large bed is comfortable and directly faces the outdoor scenery; both the bed and pillows are very cozy. The guesthouse is conveniently located very close to the bamboo raft pier. I personally loved it; it's very quiet at night, perfect for a good rest. It's easy to catch a taxi or ride an e-scooter when you go out. The owner is warm and hospitable, offering to help with ticket purchases. The breakfast rice noodles are great, and in the evening, there are desserts, fruits, and coffee available. The check-in experience was superb. If you enjoy a relaxed and quiet environment, you should definitely come and experience this place."

PPipajiKicking off our spring break, we headed south through Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, and Beihai. Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn was by far the most comfortable and convenient place we stayed. The inn's design and layout exceeded my expectations; the quality was truly impressive. Given the limitations of the building itself, they ingeniously installed a luggage elevator, which was incredibly thoughtful for both guests and staff – big thumbs up! Yangshuo county is quite small, so there's really no need to stay directly in the scenic area (it's inconvenient, overpriced, and you'd need taxis for meals and transportation, adding to costs). Staying in the West Street commercial district was a very smart decision. We stayed and ate at Wangjianglou (for those who know, their restaurant is a super popular, must-try spot in Yangshuo with long queues!). As a guest, you don't have to wait; the front desk concierge helps with reservations directly, and you even get a 10% discount on meals, which is a fantastic deal. I'm already planning to bring my family back after May Day and will definitely be staying at Wangjianglou again!

GGuest UserThis B&B exceeded my expectations! What a delightful surprise!
**Facilities:** The place opened in 2019, and everything is incredibly well-maintained, clean, and new. They have toys, picture books (I'd suggest getting more!), a small tent, and lots of dolls for kids to play with 🏕️, truly freeing up parents' hands. Mosquito coils are lit on every floor at night, and there's mosquito repellent in the rooms. The lobby on the first floor has essential medications. They even have toothbrushes, toilet seats, small stools, baby bathtubs, and slippers for little ones.
**Hygiene:** All restrooms are equipped with alcohol wipes, a godsend for anyone who's a clean freak!
**Food:** The food was super delicious 🤤 The dumplings were excellent; I even got a takeaway portion when I left. The complimentary red bean soup served at night was incredibly smooth and not too sweet—I polished off two bowls!!! (All of this was free).
Kitty, the owner, must also be a stickler for details. She meticulously explains how each dish from the private kitchen is made. For the bamboo tube chicken soup, she even helps skim off the oil. There are free oranges in the lobby, and you can toss the peels into a designated bin. The main thing is that all the dishes are delicious! As someone from Guangdong, I have high standards for chicken, and the bamboo tube chicken had crispy skin and tender meat – a truly fine chicken. The stuffed snails were bursting with rich, fatty flavor, perfectly balanced by the sour bamboo shoots and mint, making it not at all greasy. The beer fish was incredibly appetizing and not overly salty at all! I feel like this dish really tests a chef's skill.
We were pressed for time and had to catch a high-speed train, so we couldn't book lunch for the next day 🥣 Next time I visit, I'll definitely try the braised duck with bamboo shoots and the Longji eggplant~

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, just a few minutes' walk from Gongnong Bridge. It boasts one of the best views near the bridge, offering a tranquil escape while allowing you to enjoy the gallery's unique peaks right from your room. We even captured some beautiful photos from our room on the first morning. Within walking distance, there are plenty of dining and entertainment options, so you could easily spend several days here even without venturing to further attractions.
The service at Jiyun is a major highlight—warm yet discreet, making you feel truly at home. The restaurant may have a limited menu, but the food quality is excellent, and the prices are quite reasonable. Their beer fish, made with the finest local catch, comes highly recommended.
Our two-bedroom suite was very spacious, featuring a sofa and a large table in the living room, making it perfect for families. The room was well-equipped with many home essentials, and with the hotel's laundry facilities, you could comfortably stay for ten days or even half a month.

GGuest UserMe and my wife stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful accomodation. The room was very tidy and has everything you need. We didn't use the bathtub but it is a nice feature. The beds are comfortable and the nights were quiet. It was not high season so I am not sure how it would be if all rooms were booked. Sometimes in the morning we heard some noise from the hallway but it did not bother us.
The Inn is located out of the city at the edge of a small town. I really liked it as you can go everywhere very easily with the e-scooters that you can rent with the Inn. Driving around Yangshuo was very convenient, with beautiful scenery everywhere.
We also enjoyed the breakfast a lot! They serve a nice light soup with Guilin rice noodles. Also there is more vegetables, dumplings and some cake you can choose from. We also had lunch and dinner multiple times which was all very delicious! Don't skip it! Also they have a nice frontyard where you can enjoy your meals or drinks from the bar.
Above all, the staff is incredibly kind and even though there is a language barrier, they put lots of effort in helping us. They helped us booking our activities and providing us with all the information to make sure we would enjoy our stay to the fullest. Xueying helped me practice some Chinese while I helped our with her English. She is extremely kind, so don't hesitate to come and book this accomodation as I am sure you'll have a great stay!

After booking, the hotel contacted us in time and left WeChat for communication and consultation. The waiters we met were very enthusiastic. The accommodation was quiet, clean and hygienic. The hotel has a small courtyard, and it is very pleasant to sit in the courtyard and enjoy the cool air. We rented an electric car at the hotel and traveled around the mountains and rivers with pleasure. There are many internet celebrity check-in spots around, and the photos are very good. We originally booked a two-day stay and then extended it for one more day. The overall experience was very good after three days, and it is worth recommending.

The owners were so kind and upgraded me to a room with a floor-to-ceiling window. As soon as I opened the door, the breathtaking scenery of Yangshuo's mountains and rivers came into view. It was truly refreshing and I fell in love with it instantly.
The entire hotel has a charming, ancient feel, and the environment is incredibly comfortable. The staff, both the guys and girls, were exceptionally friendly and made me feel immediately calm and relaxed. It’s perfect for a long stay or a meditation retreat. There's a viewing platform on the top floor, ideal for watching the sunrise and sunset.
The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options. The rice noodles were delicious, and the nutritious congee was also very tasty. I highly recommend the hotel's homemade milk dates – wow, I just couldn't stop eating them! Especially with the surrounding mountains and rivers and soothing music, it even made me, someone who usually skips breakfast, have a huge appetite.
The room came with a foot-soaking tub and sleep-inducing foot bath sachets, along with roses and Liubao tea, creating a very artistic atmosphere. Oh, and the bedding was super comfortable, and there was a smart toilet. Everything was top-notch, and I was extremely satisfied.
The hotel's surroundings are excellent. If you turn left out the door, there's a small path where you can stroll along the Yulong River. A 20-minute walk takes you to Wanjing Wharf and Gongnong Bridge, which is very convenient.
Oh, and the owners are incredibly warm and friendly. They responded to every request instantly and even helped me receive a package. When I couldn't find a good spot to photograph the rapeseed flowers, they even guided me via video call. The service was truly exceptional.
It's been a long time since I traveled domestically, and honestly, both the accommodation and service here, as well as the price, completely blow the US out of the water. I'm going to have withdrawal symptoms after leaving Yangshuo!
A small anecdote at the end: this hotel was found using an AI tool, Gemini. AI truly didn't disappoint me, haha!

GGuest UserOur stay was excellent! My mom kept raving about how clean the hotel was, the spacious room, and the great service. We originally booked a room in Building B, but the front desk staff upgraded us to Building A because we had a lot of luggage and my mom is older. Building A has an elevator, which was very convenient. The room had a lovely minimalist, natural wood style – exactly what I like – and a small balcony. The balcony faced the mountains, so the air was fresh, and we could hear birds chirping. My mom and I really enjoyed sitting out there and having tea. There's a huge rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the mountains and the river. The hotel is super close to West Street, about a 30-meter walk, but despite West Street being bustling, the hotel itself was very quiet. I'd definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends. Overall, a fantastic experience! It's also very close to all the surrounding scenic spots.

The staff were very enthusiastic, and even though we had a small hiccup, it was perfectly resolved. The hotel offers free parking and free breakfast. The only downside is that the decor is a bit dated, but the service and cleanliness are good, it's easy to get around, and it's great value for money. A special shout-out to the landlady, her service attitude was superb!

GGuest UserI am traveling with three elderly people in my family who are 200 years old in total. The hotel is located opposite Yuanbao Mountain and it is relatively convenient to drive. My family is quite satisfied with the room. It's clean and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a nice view. The three young girls I met at the front desk were very attentive in their service. The mung bean porridge in the evening and breakfast in the morning were more suitable for the elderly. recommend

GGuest UserThis hotel was the best one I stayed in China and it was also the cheapest one.
The room looked even better than on the pictures, it was very spacious with a large and comfortable bed, a couch and many amenities. The room was modern, clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect, literally in the middle of the busiest street with hundreds of shops, restaurants, bars, attractions, etc. within a 2-minute walk. Despite the central location, the room was quiet and I didn’t hear any noise from the busy street so I could get a good nights sleep.
The receptionists were also friendly, check-in was much faster than at other hotels and they even let me store my luggage there for free after I checked out. Overall highly recommended!
