GGuest UserI chose the Grand Hotel Beijing for my parents back in November, and they were very happy with it. Three months later, when I visited Beijing with my husband, I initially thought about trying a different hotel, as there are so many high-end options here. But in the end, we decided to stay at the Grand Hotel Beijing again, and my husband was also very pleased. Its location is absolutely perfect if you're visiting the Forbidden City or the National Museum; we just walked over after breakfast. This time, I noticed a significant improvement in the service compared to our last stay. The front desk upgraded us to a Chang'an Avenue view room, which we loved. Every staff member was attentive, even the noodle chef at breakfast was very warm and polite. On our third morning, as soon as we entered the restaurant, the waitress greeted us by our room number. The room rate during the off-season offered great value for money. While the breakfast had a good variety, there weren't many truly outstanding dishes. However, enjoying breakfast right on Chang'an Avenue, by the red walls, is a unique experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing for the first time.

__M1352040****This was my first time staying at this hotel. The front desk was a bit hard to find; a larger reception area or lobby bar would be better. However, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. All the snacks and drinks in the room are complimentary, and there's also a free swimming pool, gym, and parking. The hotel offers all the basic amenities you'd expect, and it's very close to various tourist attractions. There's even a subway station about 200 meters away! [Strong][Strong] Plus, there's a cafe on the 15th floor [Coffee], and the complex also has a cinema and a bookstore. Everything was great overall!

GGuest UserFive stars, no hesitation! As my go-to choice for trips to and from Beijing West Railway Station, this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The location is a huge plus – within walking distance to the subway, making my commute to Beijing West super fast. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so getting around and finding food is really convenient. They even have free parking!

SSiau YongThe hotel upgraded us to apartments in a condominium nearby. The apartments are very spacious, well equipped, secured, and clean. The location is a distance away to the city centre, but with private transport, there's no issue. Nearby the hotel there're some shops, and a row of eateries with local food and local prices. The reception desk staff especially Sunny, Tina and Rebecca are warm, helpful, and responsive. Compliments to their excellent service. The only negative point is the breakfast which is outsourced to an adjacent cafe - the variety should be improved. We took the breakfast only once, and make our own in the apartments for the rest of the stay.
SSangzibbIt's always a pleasure to return here; every stay feels as warm as coming home. This time, I'd especially like to thank two exceptional staff members, Howard and Daisy, whose service made the entire stay truly memorable.
Howard consistently appeared with the utmost professionalism whenever help was needed. Whether it was his efficient assistance during check-in or patiently answering my questions about the hotel facilities, his calm and meticulous approach made me feel completely at ease. I remember the morning after, he proactively checked if the air conditioning issue I'd mentioned the night before had been resolved – that level of follow-up responsibility is truly rare and commendable.
The quality of a hotel isn't just about its facilities and environment, but more importantly, about the people within it. It's precisely because of outstanding team members like Howard and Daisy that this place has become somewhere I'm eager to return to again and again. I sincerely wish them continued success in their careers and look forward to seeing them next time!

GGuest UserI've stayed here twice now, and the room's floor-to-ceiling windows provide excellent light, making it very comfortable. The hotel's location is fantastic, with direct access to the China World Mall, and it's home to Nanmen Hotpot and Ma Liu Ji. The basement connects directly to Metro Lines 1 and 10, which is super convenient. Line 1 goes straight to attractions like Tiananmen Square, Wangfujing, and the Military Museum. Beijing traffic can be bad, so having easy subway access is a huge plus. This time, I also noticed a significant improvement in the hotel's service. We're a family of three, and we pushed the two twin beds together to sleep. When the staff cleaned the room, they thoughtfully put a thick bed sheet over them, so the person in the middle didn't feel the uncomfortable gap between the two beds, and we slept really well. Plus, every day they'd provide extra bottles of mineral water and tissues based on our habits, and when I asked for a band-aid, they proactively offered iodine swabs, which was very thoughtful. 👍

GGuest UserThis is my third stay at this hotel, and I'm consistently impressed. The breakfast spread is fantastic, with a great variety and delicious food cooked fresh. They even provide dental floss, which is a thoughtful touch you don't always find even in five-star hotels. The inclusion of toilet seat covers among the hotel amenities is another detail that really makes a difference. The staff are all incredibly friendly and always have a smile on their faces. I'm very satisfied and will definitely choose to stay here again.

HHuanongyingerYou can see Donghuamen right from the hotel entrance, and it couldn't be more convenient for visiting the Forbidden City. It's just across the street from Wangfujing Century, which is a hub for Beijing's historical costume makeup and photo shoots. Most online booked travel photoshoots start with makeup here, haha. I walked to the National Museum and the Forbidden City, and diagonally opposite there's a Siji Minfu, which is worth checking out for food. Overall, the location is absolutely fantastic. As for the decor and facilities, I don't think they're as bad as some reviews make them out to be; for an old building, they're perfectly acceptable. I'll bring my mom back to Beijing in the autumn of 2026 and stay here again! Just be aware that there's no central heating/warm air conditioning, so if that's a big concern for you, keep an eye on Beijing's heating schedule. I stayed from November 1st to 6th, and the staff provided a space heater, so I wasn't cold at all. There were plenty of shared bikes parked outside the hotel, which was super convenient. The streets to the left and right were lined with yellow leaves, and cycling around in the crisp autumn air was so comfortable. I probably got 20 years' worth of cycling done in those six days, hahahaha! Cycling in Beijing is really enjoyable, I love it, and I'll definitely come back to cycle again!

GGuest UserThe Beijing Legendale Hotel truly is a hidden gem in the city center, boasting a magnificent European palace style! The lobby's high-domed ceilings and gilded decorations create an incredibly grand atmosphere, perfect for photos. Its location is superb, situated on Jinbao Street, close to Wangfujing and Tiananmen Square, making transportation a breeze. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with soft, comfortable bedding. The bathrooms are equipped with L'Occitane products, ensuring quality. The service is professional and attentive; check-in was efficient, and the staff were warm and polite. Breakfast is varied and delicious, offering both Western and Chinese options. Despite being in a bustling area, it's remarkably quiet, with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. The facilities are well-maintained, and every detail exudes luxury. Staying here in Beijing offers both a sense of occasion and exceptional comfort. Highly recommended!

SSuper_PaiThe hotel is located in the CBD, very close to the CCTV Tower. The room offers a city view, which is visible from both the main room and the bathroom – quite nice at night. The room, decorated in a new Chinese style, is a good size at over 40 square meters, though the furniture is a bit dated. When we checked in, my friend had a bit of a disagreement with the front desk staff that wasn't resolved well. While my friend can be a bit short-tempered, the front desk's response lacked professionalism and emotional intelligence, which ultimately led my friend to cancel the reservation in anger and move to the Rosewood next door.
