20020We had an awesome time at Shangrila Jakarta. Booking the clubroom was the best decision as we could have free flow drinks, afternoon tea and evening canapes. For those with children and not allowed into the lounge during evening time, they have allocated an area in the lobby lounge for families to enjoy their evening canapes and adults could still order any alcohol drinks served ala carte should they desire to do so—all inclusive. Lounge food was delicious. There were scones, salmon, smoked salmon sandwiches, profiteroles, sushi, satay, cakes etc. we would absolutely do the same should we be going to Jakarta again. There’s also a water playground with water slides and big tipping bucket for children. Pool is big and enjoyable. There are also fringe activities for children like bracelet making and also a bouncy castle and a swing.
Rooms were kept clean and tidy and the toilet (with separate bathtub and shower) was huge! Room temperature control was accurate and good too.
The only thing is that it is not located walking distance/connected to the big malls. But taking a bluebird cab out to mega malls is easy and also of budget cost.
Breakfast spread is amazing and seating was fast too.
Kids were also greeted with goodie bags on arrival. Hospitality was great. Thanks so much Shangrila!

YanxiazhuyueI stayed at this hotel for a 10-day business trip to Jakarta. The location was very convenient, right next to Lotte Department Store, so shopping and dining were just a 10-minute walk away. The outdoor swimming pool was fantastic, surrounded by tall buildings, giving it a very business-like feel. I specifically asked the front desk to arrange a room on a high floor, 35th, and the view was indeed spectacular. One evening after a heavy rain, I even saw a double rainbow, which was a delightful surprise. The only downside was probably the limited breakfast options; it was the same few items every day, quite inferior compared to other hotels of the same caliber I've stayed at before.

Herry_GunadiWe stayed at the 2 Bedroom Fraser Residence Menteng as a family of two parents and three children, and our experience was extremely satisfying. The unit was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The two bedrooms with a large living room allowed all family members to move freely without feeling cramped. The facilities were as complete as an apartment, ranging from a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine to dining utensils, making it very practical for families.
The children especially enjoyed playing in the swimming pool and playground. The location is also strategic in the Menteng area, close to various shopping centers and dining spots, making it easy to travel anywhere.
Breakfast offered a diverse selection of delicious dishes. What stood out the most was the friendliness of all the staff, from check-in to check-out; everyone was very helpful and made us feel right at home.
Overall, Fraser Residence Menteng is an excellent choice for a staycation or a large family vacation. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Jakarta.

I recently stayed here for a business trip and overall had a good experience. The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely the room size. I stayed in a suite and it was very spacious, with a separate living room, kitchen, and bedroom. It felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room, which was very comfortable after a long day of work.
The location is very convenient because it is connected to Plaza Semanggi, so it was easy to find food, coffee, and basic things without needing to go far. The hotel is also close to Sudirman and the business areas, but during peak hours the traffic around Semanggi can still be quite heavy, so you need to plan your travel time.
The facilities are quite complete — there is a swimming pool, gym, and some sports facilities. Breakfast was decent with both Indonesian and Western food, although the menu was more or less the same every day.
The downside is that the hotel is a bit old, and you can see it from the furniture and some parts of the room. Everything still works fine, but it could definitely use some renovation. Another thing is the elevator can be slow during busy hours, especially in the morning.
Overall, I think this hotel is very good value for money if you want a large room in a central location. It may not be a luxury or modern hotel, but it is comfortable and practical, especially for business trips or longer stays.
