Jakarta Hotels with Balcony

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Shangri-La Jakarta, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I stayed in a spacious balcony suite on the 29th floor, which offered stunning views of Jakarta. The suite was beautifully appointed, combining elegant design with modern luxury and every amenity one could wish for. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy what Jakarta has on offer. The Horizon Club was a real highlight. The cocktails were outstanding, and the atmosphere made evening drinks a memorable experience. A special thank you to Mr Markus Christ and his wonderful team for their warm hospitality. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine friendliness made me feel truly welcome throughout my stay. The hotel has everything you could ask for, including excellent dining options and a fantastic bar featuring live music, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind in the evenings. Shangri-La Jakarta delivers five-star luxury with impeccable service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jakarta, whether for business or leisure, and I look forward to returning.

The hotel is located above a shopping mall (2nd floor) and has dining options on the B1 level. It's safe and convenient, situated near embassies. The service is meticulous, and the rooms are large, comfortable, and overlook a rooftop garden.

It was conveniently situated near restaurants, shopping areas, and popular tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city without spending too much time travelling. Public transportation was also easily accessible, which added to the convenience. The hotel facilities were equally impressive. The swimming pool was clean and relaxing, providing a perfect place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The fitness centre was well-equipped with modern machines, and the free Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable throughout the property. I also enjoyed spending time in the lobby, which had a cosy atmosphere and comfortable seating areas. Breakfast was another standout feature. There was a wide variety of delicious food, including fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, local dishes, and international options. Everything was well-prepared and regularly replenished. The restaurant staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring that guests had everything they needed. What impressed me the most was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I encountered was polite, helpful, and genuinely cared about making guests feel welcome. Whenever I requested assistance, they responded promptly and efficiently, always with a positive attitude. Although no hotel is absolutely perfect, I found very few things to complain about. If I had to mention one small issue, it would be that the walls were slightly thin, so I could occasionally hear noise from the hallway. However, this was only a minor inconvenience and did not significantly affect my overall experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay. Whether you are travelling for business, a family holiday, or a romantic getaway, this hotel offers excellent value for money and outstanding hospitality. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

I haven't had time to review this place since I got back from my business trip, but this Somerset in Jakarta is really great. Although the hotel shows its age a bit, the in-room facilities are quite well-maintained. It was my first time seeing a Daikin wall-mounted air conditioner in a hotel room! And also the first time seeing hand soap dispensers suspended like that. I stayed for a week, and housekeeping came daily to clean, change towels, and even picked up hair from the shower. The TV offered HBO, Mango TV, and other domestic and international satellite channels. The hotel also has a swimming pool and tennis courts. The only downside is that the hotel's drinking water comes in these eco-friendly glass bottles, and they didn't replace the glass bottle throughout my week-long stay. So, I'm unsure about the source of the drinking water and whether the bottles are adequately sanitized. Luckily, I didn't get an upset stomach.

First of all, im grateful that you've upgraded my room to a connecting room since I reserved a different type of room. ketika saya bilang kamar satu lg minta didekatkan cuz im staying with my kids. You offered me a connecting room with an upgraded room without any charge. I'm so grateful thank you. And also, nice pool & playground. However, I'm really sorry to say that I'm kinda disappointed staying at your place though, since it's a 4 star hotel. Handuk yang tidak lagi putih dan sudah agak bau, check in yang super lama, banyak sekali guests yg datang setelah saya masih belum dapat kamar hingga jam 5 sore. It was chaos. Saya sengaja check in di jam 3 hoping the room is ready krn kami mau main sore kepantai. Unfortunately.. saya masih harus menunggu another 30 minutes cuz the room is being cleaned. Ketika di jam 3.30 kami menanyakan kembali kamar kami, ternyata baru satu kamar yg ready. Kamar satu lagi kami masih harus menunggu another half hour. Yang paling mengecewakan adalah variety of your food breakfast. Not much of a choice. Roti pun tidak ada panggangannya dan hanya ada margarine, chocolate dan blueberry jam. Pastry dan doughnuts yg habis dan lama sekali di refill. Juga main course yang habis dan juga lamaaa sekali di isi ulang. Btw, kami di arahkan breakfast di lantai bawah, krn ruangan resto utama penuh. But I didn't expect the food to be so average for a 4 star hotel. Please take care of your hotel cuz my kids loves your pool and playground. Looking forward till the renovations are done.

I had a great stay at Oakwood PIK Jakarta. It's an excellent choice if you're looking for a hotel close to the airport or if you plan to explore the PIK area, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and attractions nearby. The service was friendly and efficient, and the room was clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. I especially appreciated the excellent amenities, including a water dispenser, microwave, refrigerator, and even a cooking area, which made the stay feel very convenient and homely. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Jakarta.

Great for a family vacation, the rooms and surroundings are clean. The staff are friendly and helped us with our luggage. The facilities are complete, and it's only a few meters from the mall. There's plenty of public transportation nearby. The food is also delicious.

There was a renovation and the staff already warned us it will be noisy start from 8am. And we just got the only room available on the lobby floor (no info earlier, when we got there, the receptionist told us on the spot so we had no option). When we entered the room, it smell damp, the door of the cupboard was broken (can't be closed) , the toilet smells bad, and the towels are dirty with something like black stain. It wasn't a good experience honestly and I won't repeat this booking. As for the receptionist, she was nice, welcome and friendly. Thanks.

All of the facility the apartment is good, the staff helpfull. I think minus in the unit of apartement : One thing is certain about staying here: the internet is terrible—the Wi-Fi, too. Service from all providers is bad here, so you can't even watch TV and the wifi is useless and your Telco line can't connect well to network. The hairdryer almost burn my hands, there is a fire when i'm using it. As for the mattress in the second bedroom, its uncomfortable.
