GGuest UserCezanne Inn was the most attentive hotel we stayed at during our trip to Xinjiang. 1. Two days in advance, they contacted us in a group chat to inform us of important information and details about our trip to Hemu, which made us feel very reassured, especially since it was our first time there. 2. The innkeepers were very helpful with our luggage both when we checked in and when we checked out. 3. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Hemu River and the Hemu Aid-Xinjiang Bridge, with beautiful scenery perfect for walks and photos. 4. While rooms in Hemu are generally small, Cezanne Inn's rooms were exquisitely decorated and very welcoming. 5. Breakfast included both Chinese and Western options; we chose the Western option, and surprisingly, everyone finished it all! The taste and presentation were excellent, especially the apricot jam, which Juan said was handmade and very pure and flavorful. 6. While having breakfast, I planned a little surprise for the ladies by giving them a small gift. Thanks to Juan and the receptionist for their ideas and for helping us record this precious video. 7. Thank you for your thoughtfulness; it made our trip to Hemu both heartwarming and comforting. [heart][heart][heart]

XXiaoyaoxiangqianchongThe room was very clean and the interior was cozy. It's about 200 meters from the bus terminal. When we got off the bus, someone arranged for a car to pick us up from the terminal. We didn't have much luggage, so I'd advise anyone going to Hemu Village to leave large items in the car and travel light if you're in a small group. However, the weather is quite cold in the mornings and evenings in late October, so I recommend wearing a thick windproof jacket (with fleece lining), a hat, and gloves. The owner was very nice; perhaps because it was the off-season and there weren't many guests, they upgraded my original standard room to a family room and explained other things to note about staying in the village. Breakfast was delivered to our room because we left early. I give this guesthouse another thumbs up, it's great! 👍👍👍

HHengma815The location is superb, with all shuttle buses within 150 meters. The accommodations and amenities are almost at a five-star hotel standard – clean, tidy, and odor-free. The drinking water, hairdryer, and shower water temperature and flow are all excellent!
On our first day, around lunchtime, we saw reviews mentioning Sichuan cuisine. As a family from Hubei, we were craving Sichuan food after eating lamb skewers all the way here. We ordered grilled fish, Mapo tofu, and scrambled eggs with tomatoes. My dad happily drank almost half a jin (250ml) of liquor – it was delicious! Combined with the charming ambiance of the guesthouse, this was what a vacation should be like!
We initially planned to stay in Xincun the next day, where the price would be halved. However, seeing my dad's mobility issues and our recent diet of coarse grains, we didn't want to change hotels – after all, we were already here! So we extended our stay!
By the way, breakfast was a pleasant surprise – egg rice noodles 🍜, delicious! And the service was impeccable. The owner was incredibly helpful in planning our itinerary, answering all our questions promptly, which was very reassuring! It saved a lot of time; we went to all the places we wanted to visit in the past two days without getting tired. My parents were even able to go back to the hotel for a nap after lunch.
We explored the new village area, but overall, the convenience, food, drinks, and transportation options make the old village area a much better choice! The well-developed facilities are a huge plus for families traveling from afar!

As a huge ski enthusiast, my stay at M hotel was absolutely divine, deserving a perfect score! The hotel's location, right in the west area of Geikieling Ski Resort, offers the ultimate ski-in/ski-out convenience. No need to lug heavy ski equipment around – you can literally ski right back to your room after a day on the slopes. For any skier, this setup is a dream come true, giving you an extra hour of skiing every day. Pure bliss!
The room was clean and comfortable, and the ski equipment storage area was spacious and dry, so no worries about gear getting damp. The most impressive part was the breakfast buffet; the variety was so extensive it was hard to choose! The freshly baked bread was crispy and delicious, the hot food section offered authentic local flavors, and there was a wide selection of fruits, yogurts, and Western cold dishes. Whether you're refueling after skiing or just grabbing a quick bite before hitting the slopes, you'll be incredibly satisfied.
I also have to praise the hotel's service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, from helping carry my skis during check-in to proactively informing me about the ski conditions and recommending the best times to ski. They were enthusiastic and thoughtful throughout. Any issues were addressed incredibly quickly, showing warmth and attention to detail in every interaction.
For ski lovers, M hotel is the ideal choice for your stay. Next time I come to Geikieling for skiing, I will definitely choose this place again!

GGuest UserThe B&B's location is great, most of the popular attractions are within walking distance, and the surrounding area is quite lively. The service was good; any issues were promptly addressed. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out. However, the facilities and cleanliness were just average. When we first checked in, there were water stains all over the toilet and the toilet seat, making me wonder if it hadn't been cleaned. Later that night, while in bed, I kept smelling a strange odor, but couldn't pinpoint the source. Since it was already late, I didn't call staff to deal with it. I also noticed two holes in the bedsheet. I hope they can improve their facilities and hygiene in the future.

Beautiful B&B at the end of the tourist village, across a stop of the free public bus bringing tourist to the parks entrance.
The owner directly welcomed us, our luggage was put in front of our room while we did the check in. No problem for me as a foreigner.
Room was spacious, tidy and well equipped. No A/C, but temperatures at night drop low enough for a comfortable sleep (late June).
Breakfast was basic Chinese, coffee available.
We had to shorten our stay due to a personal matter. Despite no free cancelation policy, the owner agreed to shorten our stay by 1 night and refund us the money. Everything handled over the Trip App in English.

Upon arrival, the owner warmly helped with my luggage and thoughtfully provided information on nearby attractions (sunset platform, local lama temple, photogenic birch forest). Nice…👍 While I don't have many words to describe the comfort and cultural experience of Wushangyin, I'll share my honest feelings! The decision to travel during off-peak season and the missed autumn scenery made me quite apprehensive! However, the magnificent mountain road leading into the scenic area, the adorable little foxes 🦊, the host's hospitality, and the warmth and comfort of the wooden cabin made it all the more pleasant in the chilly autumn mountains! The room was spotless, and the housekeeper was incredibly attentive, quickly resolving any issues. Highly recommended! As the saying goes: ”The wind and moon bring peace to the heart, and the world is at ease.” Although I missed the fairytale-like autumn scenery, I witnessed a truly beautiful winter wonderland (snow at dusk and a stunning starry sky at dawn). My annual holiday was worth it! I'm already looking forward to my next holiday!

YYouqiA very nice hostel! Although the price spiked to over 400 RMB per night during peak season at the end of September, I felt the conditions were acceptable even during peak season.
First of all, it was very clean. You make your own sheets and blankets upon check-in, as they are changed after each guest, so I didn't need my own sleeping bag. The bathroom and toilet were also very clean.
The six-person dorm wasn't particularly spacious. On the night we checked in, five of us had suitcases, and if we opened them all at once, the floor would be covered in suitcases. The bathroom and toilet are in the room, and the sink is also in a separate room, which is a good design as it doesn't conflict with other uses. The biggest surprise was the free washing machine in the room!
Since it was autumn peak season, I booked whatever room was available without paying too much attention. Later, I discovered that ”with window” and ”without window” were both in the same room; the difference was the small window next to the bed in my picture. But this small window bed cost 35 RMB more than the one next to it without a small window… which didn't seem necessary…
The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. There's a 15% discount on coffee at the hostel. The location is absolutely fantastic! There's a bus stop right across the street, a 3-minute walk to the bridgehead stop to take the bus to the visitor center, and a 30-minute walk to the viewing platform. Eating and drinking at restaurants and bubble tea shops are all readily available nearby.

GGuest UserRight next to Hemu Bridge, I visited during Chinese New Year in winter, and you can see the snow right outside the window. The riverside boardwalk wasn't crowded, so if you wake up early, you can enjoy the Hemu River's snowy scenery all to yourself in the morning. The rooms are charming log cabins on the outside, but inside they're modern and fully equipped, with no musty cabin smell. The Hemu milk for breakfast was delicious, though unfortunately, each person only gets one cup. They also offered afternoon tea, which I remember being quite good. And I often saw big dogs by the entrance! 😁

JJoyceThe environment was great, and since I'm a girl, they said it wasn't good for a girl to stay in a dugout, so they upgraded me to the third floor for free. It was a pity that it didn't snow, otherwise I could have seen the snow-capped mountains by opening the floor-to-ceiling curtains (I put my DJI drone by the window and took some photos of the starry sky 🌌).
