Foshan Hotels with Bars

I've never left a hotel review before, but this is the first one that truly deserves me to go out of my way to share what a wonderful night I had here. Before coming, I saw a lot of shares on Xiaohongshu, and I was worried it might be an 'advertised hotel,' but it genuinely broke my stereotype. First, considering the hotel's incredibly high value for money, all the facilities, both hard and soft furnishings, far exceeded expectations. And that was just the beginning. I especially want to thank Zara, the lovely front desk staff who checked us in. I believe her service and professionalism are top-notch, comparable to the best hotels. She meticulously informed us of all the services included in our room, including the two complimentary drinks at the executive lounge. After noticing our ID wasn't from mainland China, she thoughtfully asked if we needed a travel adapter – this shows a very high level of professionalism. She also thoroughly explained how to get to our room and inquired about our needs. Every time I passed the lobby, she'd nod and smile, making me feel incredibly welcome. This hotel is worth staying at for 2 nights or more for anyone planning a staycation in Shunde.

The Vienna Hotel boasts new facilities and a great environment, with a refined yet understated European style. The rooms are spacious, and the smart controls are very convenient. The bedding is fluffy and smells like sunshine, and the soundproofing is excellent. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and is well-stocked with amenities, offering 24-hour hot water with constant temperature and pressure. The service is warm and attentive; check-in at the front desk is quick, and requests are handled promptly. Housekeeping is thorough, and breakfast is abundant. Plus, there's free parking and a convenient laundry room. The overall experience is superb.

I came to Foshan to buy furniture and stayed for three nights. I was looking for a relatively new hotel and found this one. It's only been open for a few years, so the facilities are all very new, and the design is on point. The large double bathtub is definitely worth trying. The service has the quality you'd expect from an international chain hotel. The breakfast selection is probably one of the richest I've encountered in a domestic hotel, with a full array of dim sum (though perhaps that's just me, a Beijinger, who hasn't had good food before). The Tiki at the lounge was enthusiastic and responsive to requests, which was a five-star experience. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be the poorly designed Toto sink countertop in the suite. The faucet is too short, causing water to splash all over the counter when you wash your hands. Also, because the sink takes up most of the counter space, there's hardly any room for toiletries or cosmetics (as shown in image 3). This isn't very friendly for people with a lot of belongings, and I hope it can be improved.

Came to Foshan with friends and our first stop was Qiandeng Lake. We hesitated for a long time between the InterContinental Poly and the Xinghai Weipu, but finally chose the latter. Staying on a high floor gave us an unobstructed night view of the Denghu Municipal Park. Since it doesn't face the light show stage directly, it was much quieter. After dark, we took a long stroll along Denghu West Road and Denghu East Road, caught the gorgeous light show, and stuffed ourselves with delicious food from the numerous night market stalls. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and we slept very well. The buffet breakfast was exquisite and delicious 😋. Since we checked in right before the Mid-Autumn Festival, the front desk staff even gave us a box of mooncakes 🥮, which felt so thoughtful and full of ritual 😀. Thumbs up! 👍

The environment is good and the service is excellent. Little Lily made the check-in process smooth and convenient, which was very satisfying. This stay at the Sheraton Hotel was the most pleasant surprise during my trip to Guangdong. Actually, before coming here, I randomly booked a hotel on a certain app, but when I arrived, I found that the sanitation was poor, the bed sheets were not clean, and the service attitude was bad. I was in a very bad mood, so I decisively canceled the booking and then found the Sheraton. Upon arriving at the Sheraton, the front desk staff, Lily, was very friendly and enthusiastic, and even gave us some fruit. She chose a river-view room for us, and the view outside the window was excellent. (In contrast, the staff at the other hotel even tried to entice me to pay more to see some Ferris wheel, *chuckle*.) In the morning, we were able to see the sunrise, which was very delightful. The entire night's experience was a transition from hell to heaven, from feeling extremely upset to extremely happy. I am very grateful for Lily's enthusiasm. I had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton, which gave my wife and me a perfect ending to our short one-day trip in Shunde. One person's enthusiasm can change a tourist's impression of a city. Highly recommended!!! Wish you smooth work and great success!

The room decor was really old-fashioned. I booked an executive king room, but the amenities were exactly the same as a deluxe king, which didn't match the photos online. There was a musty smell when I first entered the room. The staff later moved me to another room, but it seemed like they had just sprayed air freshener, as the scent was quite strong. Also, the advertised Kung Fu tea set was missing. Overall, it was a very poor experience.

The room was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. Although quiet, the convenience of having a mall right next to the hotel, offers plenty of shopping and dining options. The staff provided friendly and attentive service, always ready to assist with a smile. The amenities were top-notch. A choice for anyone looking for comfort and convenience.

Revisiting my review, it's still about the service. 1. Room service for meals: Tried calling and messaging on WeChat multiple times at 5:30, but got no response. Had to go down to the front desk via elevator to finally get it arranged. They said it would be an hour, and an hour later when I went to ask at the front desk, they said it had just been sent up. The front desk said the robot couldn't deliver it to the lobby (I'm guessing it simply wasn't ready yet). The meal finally arrived at 9 PM. 2. Scanning to exit with the car: My husband told me the barrier wasn't lifting, and asked the front desk to let us out. The front desk first asked if we had scanned, which I confirmed. Then the front desk insisted that if we had scanned, it would definitely lift. I wasn't the one driving, so how would I know? 🤷 In the end, the front desk stubbornly claimed we must have scanned the day before but didn't leave, and then reluctantly went to open the barrier. Miss, regardless of the reason, wouldn't it be best to just cooperate and let us out immediately? You had to insist on finding our mistake, while a long line of cars was backing up in the parking lot. Was that appropriate?

Came to this hotel with my family. The front desk service was very warm and welcoming. The staff helped us with our luggage to the elevator. When we met housekeeping staff in the hallway, they greeted us and guided us to our room. The room itself was really great, offering excellent value for money. The cleanliness was impeccable; I thoroughly checked and found no dust anywhere, and the linens were spotless with no hair. I highly recommend everyone to try staying here.

I’d like to start by saying that the room was lovely and comfortable and the reception staff was accommodating and helpful. That being said - I will not be returning to this hotel and I especially would not bring family here. When I arrived there was a man screaming at the receptionist and knocking things off her desk. When he finally screamed loudly enough that security heard him the security guards came and talked with him for a few minutes and then THEY LEFT. It was just me, this extremely aggressive guy, and the tiny girl at reception. He immediately started knocking things down again. Later that night, I heard the sounds of a woman sobbing, a man screaming and loud crashing noises in the room next to me. These sounds went on in increasing severity for half an hour. I was initially scared to leave because the man kept walking into the hallway and slamming the door as hard as he could over and over again. Eventually, I went down and tried to convince security there was a problem, and the security guard was just smirking and occasionally outright laughing. When I eventually convinced him and another security guard to come up to the room with me, they were talking in the elevator about how it was just a drunk guy and laughing about it. Once we got upstairs, they heard the shower running and said “it’s nothing,” with an I-told-you-so kind of look. The shouting picked up again after they left. They didn’t even knock! I do not blame the hotel for having difficult customers. But I do fault them for their complete lack of awareness and consideration when addressing security concerns. I didn’t feel safe in this hotel, though the room was very nice.
