😀 Location: Right next to Guishan Park, a two-minute walk to where you can easily hail a taxi. It's also located within the ancient city, making dining and shopping very convenient. 👾 Facilities: Excellent! The room environment largely matched the pictures. It came equipped with an oxygen concentrator, a humidifier, a fan, and a mini-fridge! The shower room also had facilities for hanging clothes and towels, which was a great touch. Among all the guesthouses I stayed at during my trip to Yunnan, this one had the most comprehensive facilities. 🤖 Hygiene: Very good. I didn't find any hygiene issues upon check-in. All towels were disposable, and the toilet had a self-sanitizing function. 😼 Service: Both the staff and the owner were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic! Before checking in, we couldn't find a taxi near Napa Lake, so the owner came to pick us up – super nice! Every day, they also provided complimentary fruit, snacks, and yogurt. When we checked out, they arranged a shuttle to take us to the underground parking lot and even gave us a farewell gift. You can truly feel that the owner puts a lot of effort into running this place! Highly recommend!

A perfect stay for those seeking peace and relaxation. The hotel offers stunning mountain and meadow views, with beautiful walking paths and scenery similar to Heidou Café nearby. Guests receive a voucher for a complimentary Americano and cookies at the café (other menu items are available with a small top-up). The staff are friendly and attentive, and the hotel also provides convenient shuttle service to and from the railway station. Didi rides are easy to book, and the Old Town is only about 20 minutes away. When I came to Shangri-La, I originally wanted to stay at Songtsam Linka, but then I saw a photo of the Ritzman's grassland view from the window and immediately changed my booking. I stayed for three days. I haven't really stayed in many B&Bs, and if I'm being honest, the room was a bit cramped. There wasn't enough space to pack my luggage. Also, it's a bit out of the way, so I couldn't order takeout. However, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive and enthusiastic, and they offered breakfast, afternoon tea, and sweet soup. The aged tangerine peel red bean soup one evening was particularly delicious. Most importantly, there were many small animals on the ranch, especially two little donkeys that my son absolutely adored. Every morning, as soon as he woke up, he wanted to go see and feed the donkeys. It was a very satisfying trip.

Our stay at the Shangri-La Donglixia Wilderness Palace B&B was an amazing experience! The B&B faces Napa Lake and the snow-capped mountains directly, offering expansive views. The Wilderness Palace architecture creates a fantastic atmosphere, and the rooms are clean and cozy, making for an exceptionally comfortable and relaxing stay. The owner is incredibly warm and hospitable, providing thoughtful and meticulous service; every detail was well taken care of. There's also a cafe on-site where you can relax, enjoy the view, and take photos – it's incredibly photogenic. Plus, you can pet adorable and gentle Alaskan Malamutes, which is wonderfully therapeutic. Overall, the experience was a perfect 10/10. If you're coming to Shangri-La, staying here is definitely a no-brainer. Highly recommended!

This magnificent hotel is located in the heart of Shangri-La, a place where the journey itself is part of the magic. As we traveled along the village paths and across the vast plains filled with yaks and horses roaming freely, the landscape was so beautiful and peaceful that we felt as if we were entering another world. From the moment we arrived, silence, serenity, and the pure energy of nature surrounded us. The hotel manager greeted us with a warm smile, checked us in, and offered us hot local tea and a ******* cake. He then led us to the warm and beautiful room we had reserved. Everything was truly perfect: the hotel's atmosphere, the beauty of the location, and the kindness and sincerity of the entire team. When it was time to leave, we truly felt as if we were leaving a piece of our hearts there. Without a doubt, we will return to this place, and this time we will stay longer. A huge thank you to Mr. Wang, their adorable dogs, and their amazing team for this unforgettable experience.

This guesthouse really exceeded my expectations. It was easy to find and the surrounding area was very convenient. The room was spotlessly clean, no strange smells, and the bedding was comfortable, so I got a great night's sleep. The host was incredibly genuine and patiently answered all my questions, unlike some places where they're unresponsive. Overall, it felt very cozy, just like staying at a relative's house – none of that stiff hotel feeling. The price was also reasonable, offering great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area, genuinely recommend it to everyone.

Choosing Songtsam Linka in Shangri-La was absolutely the right decision! The environment is quiet, the room is comfortable, and the view is absolutely stunning. The ******* culture experience hall on the third floor is a major highlight, with all sorts of thangkas and ******* furnishings, offering an authentic taste of ******* culture. The service is genuinely warm and heartfelt, and it's also convenient for getting around and sightseeing.

The hotel rooms are equipped with diffuse oxygen concentrators and individual oxygen machines, which are lifesavers for altitude sickness. This is by far the best sleep I've had at high altitudes. The rooms are spacious, and children under 12 can sleep on the sofa, which is large enough to be a sofa bed. The hotel's decor is very elaborate, with stone exteriors, all-wood interiors, and copper basins, vases, and cups everywhere, exuding a luxurious ******* style. It's clear the hardware is top-notch. The hotel's afternoon tea is delicious, even by five-star hotel standards, and even more precious given its high-altitude location. For service, there's a butler who responds promptly, and you can call the hotel's shuttle for outings. We had several meals at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, savoring delicious ******* fragrant pork and black truffle roasted chicken, and discovered saffron sprouts, a delightful high-altitude ingredient. The only drawback is the price.

Come to Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge! I was absolutely blown away by this cliffside hotel ✨. Perched 1,860 meters up a cliff, it directly faces Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and is backed by Haba Snow Mountain 🏔️. Below lies the surging Jinsha River Grand Canyon, offering three layers of breathtaking views that perfectly capture the majestic mountains and rivers! I absolutely love the cave-style design, built into the natural rock face 🪨. The textured finishes are both sophisticated and wild, with warm lighting creating an incredible atmosphere. Every photo taken here looks like a unique, high-end shot 📸. The rooms feature 8-meter panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows 🪟, so you wake up to the magnificent snow-capped scenery. You can lie in bed and wait for the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' phenomenon, immersing yourself in the romance of Shangri-La. The entire house has underfloor heating and oxygen enrichment equipment, plus thoughtful high-altitude essentials like oxygen tanks. No need to worry about altitude sickness – check-in is super reassuring. A must-visit is the cliffside infinity heated pool 🏊, where the mirror-like water blends with the reflection of the snow-capped mountains. It feels like floating in the clouds above the canyon, creating an absolutely divine atmosphere. The 24-hour butler service is incredibly attentive, and the view from the observation cafe ☕️ is outstanding. Whether you're here to relax or for a photo op, this is definitely the top choice for accommodation in Shangri-La. Coming here, you truly won't want to leave!

For English speaking tourists, Tea Horse and Half Way are best accommodations located in Senic view area of Tiger Leaping Gorge. To be honest, Tea Horse was my second choice because I did not get a room in Half away on selected date. During my return trip to Lijiang, there was a delay of booked taxi driver coming to the mountain. Tea Horse management lady personally called driver. She even arranged with Tea Horse staff for sending me to to meet with booked driver on the way from Lijiang to TLG. It has saved about one hour of travel time. I am grateful for her support, responsibility and understanding. Only negative point was bath room door could not shut while taking shower and using toilet. As a solo traveler I did not have big issue for bathroom door was not closing. Overall it is decent and westernised room with modern facilities. Heating for shower was fast and convenient as well. Recommended for serious hikers.
