Guest UserThis five-star guesthouse, nestled at the foot of the snowy mountains, is truly a masterpiece of design. Our room faced the snow-capped peaks directly, though it was a cloudy day during our stay. We felt like VIPs! The owner shared fascinating insights into Naxi culture and even took us on a pleasant private hike around the village. Both breakfast and dinner were quite impressive; the rice noodles and matsutake chicken hotpot were absolutely delicious. The neighboring 'Six Three Restaurant' offers tasty home-style dishes. A delightful surprise was receiving a thoughtful souvenir after we got home. This stone village guesthouse is perfect for families looking for a relaxing and leisurely stay.

Environment: You can see the snowy mountains right from the guesthouse, with a perfect view and a large open space for admiring the scenery and taking photos. The interior design of the guesthouse is very aesthetically pleasing and sophisticated, creating a wonderful atmosphere.
Service: The service is impeccable. The guesthouse's breakfast and afternoon tea are high quality; the rose latte was my favorite. The in-house private chef's cooking is exceptional and delicious. In the evening, there's even a cocktail service, which other guesthouses don't offer. Each service is handled by a dedicated staff member who responds promptly and patiently. They also provide pick-up and drop-off to and from Baisha Ancient Town.
The owner personally decorated the place, and the design shows excellent taste. We brought some freshly bought flowers, and they thoughtfully provided a vase and arranged them for us, a level of detail you won't find in other hotels. The stay was absolutely fantastic. This is the best and most favorite guesthouse I've stayed at in Lijiang, and I'll definitely choose it again next time! Highly recommended.

jingjingtravelingNestled just off the main road at the entrance to Yuhu Village, Baolin Homestay surprisingly keeps a perfect distance from the hustle and bustle. Stepping into the courtyard, you instantly grasp the true meaning of 'tranquility in the midst of noise': outside, you hear the clip-clop of horse hooves and the chatter of tourists, while inside, only the rustling of leaves in the wind and the distant whisper of snow-capped mountains can be heard. Right outside is the village's main street, with cafes and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. Turning right leads directly to the path down the mountain and open fields, incredibly convenient for hiking or horse riding.
The courtyard layout is particularly delightful. We stayed in a private Loft-style courtyard, with a balcony on the first floor where two rattan chairs offer views of dark grey eaves and a patch of blue sky. The second floor features another small terrace with mountain views. The two levels are independent and offer excellent sound insulation. The room's decor combines raw wood and stone for a rustic feel, the bedding is soft, and the hot water is fast and consistent.
The room rate includes a simple dinner for two, and the chef's cooking is excellent – a plate of local cured pork stir-fried with mushrooms, savory and imbued with a wild, earthy flavor; the stir-fried seasonal vegetables were crisp, tender, and sweet, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Breakfast was plentiful, with hot congee, rice noodles, and side dishes, setting a great mood for the day.
The front desk lady is the heart and soul of this place. Meticulous, diligent, and thoughtful, she brought us a warm, sweet dessert soup every evening that warmed us to our fingertips. Her drinks are never perfunctory, whether it's freshly ground coffee or ginger-date milk tea, all made with genuine care. The three little cats are the lively treasures of the courtyard, bringing the whole place to life.
Our three days at Baolin were not luxurious, but everything was perfectly arranged; not ostentatious, yet unforgettable. This stone-walled courtyard in Yuhu Village – it will gently embrace you with a warm meal, a comforting drink, and a quiet night.

I am impressed by the enthusiasm of the hotel staff. They made us feel at home. At the end of the stay, they sent us to the train station.
The hotel is new and the rooms are spacious. The beds are comfortable. It is a value hotel which I will recommend to everyone if you want to watch the Lijiang romance show and are taking the train next day.
You can view the Yulong snow mountains at the rooftop garden and take nice photos.
I will give a 5 stars rating for this hotel.

MumuxiaocaoyiYou don't have to see the snow-capped mountains to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Arrived in Lijiang at the end of the rainy season. Before I set off, I was mentally prepared that whether I'd see the snow-capped mountains depended entirely on fate, and other scenery in the world is also a rare encounter.
At the hotel in Wenhai, I encountered ever-changing lake and mountain views I had never seen before.
The clouds and mist enveloped the entire lake, as if I had stepped into Alice in Wonderland.
The road ahead is steep and deep, so why not take a break here and embrace the romance offered by the wilderness.

Guest UserThis has been the most comfortable B&B I've ever stayed in. Opening the curtains reveals a beautiful courtyard filled with lush greenery, which is very pleasing to the eye. If the weather is good, you can even see the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' from the observation deck. The room decor is cozy and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. Highly satisfied!

liyiNgluAnFacilities: All the facilities are brand new, and they even have smart toilets.
Environment: As soon as we entered, we were captivated by the beautiful courtyard. Even though we arrived at night, the first impression was absolutely stunning. There's also a cute dog that knows how to shake hands! After seeing the room, we immediately extended our stay for another night on the platform!
Service: The sister (owner/staff member) makes delicious breakfast, and their homemade dried apples are also excellent.
The room window offers a view of the snow-capped mountains, so in the morning, you can literally lie in bed and watch the 'golden mountains' (sunrise illuminating the peaks). If I ever get the chance to visit Baisha Ancient Town again, I will definitely stay here.

KciredorWe had such a great stay at this hotel! Right from the start, the place felt welcoming and spotless, with everything perfectly clean and well-maintained. It was clear they really care about making guests comfortable.
Our room was super spacious, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly—fast and reliable, which isn’t always the case in hotels! Considering how much the hotel offers, it’s incredible value for money.
It’s also a fantastic place if you’re traveling with kids or pets. Our little ones were so happy, and played with their resident puppy, which made the trip so much easier for us.
The service was top-notch — the host was so helpful and friendly. Offering us warmth at their fireplace, food, and even brought us to a local store to buy firecrackers for our kids to play with. She even offered to give us a guided tour of their locality.
We also loved how much the hotel embraced the local vibe. From the décor to the food, everything had a real connection to the area, which made the stay feel extra special and unique.
Overall, this hotel is a perfect mix of comfort, great service, and thoughtful touches. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Choosing Tingxueju for my stay in Lijiang was an excellent experience overall, and I just had to share my honest thoughts.
First off, the guesthouse's ambiance is truly wonderful, completely living up to my imagination of Lijiang Old Town! The courtyard is beautifully maintained, with flowers and plants artfully arranged. Sitting there, sipping tea and soaking up the sun, was incredibly relaxing. The room decor also features strong local characteristics, with wooden structures and ethnic soft furnishings. It was very quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep.
The only slight drawback was that the facilities felt a little outdated. For instance, the heating in the room was quite slow to react, and the water temperature and pressure for showering at night were a bit inconsistent. I hope the owner can gradually upgrade these. Also, there was no proactive cleaning service during my stay, which can be a bit inconvenient for guests staying multiple days. It would be perfect if there could be a simple tidying up each day.
However, these minor issues don't overshadow the positives. Tingxueju's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere, and the owner is very warm and welcoming, offering many great travel tips. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Lijiang, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a peaceful environment!
