Great
稻稻荷KunThis is the most comfortable capsule hotel I've ever stayed in! The bed was super big, just like a single bed in a regular hotel, soft, and had plenty of space above, below, and to the sides. You get your own private compartment, not those small bunk-bed-style pods. Whether sitting up or lying down, it didn't feel cramped at all. The bed was a smart sofa bed, which was really cool – you could control the headrest angle via an iPod, as well as the lighting, fan, alarm, and more.
All the facilities were new; it seems like the hotel was recently renovated within the last two years. You need to use your key card to enter after going upstairs, which felt very secure. The restrooms and individual shower rooms were exceptionally clean, modern, and stylishly designed.
The hotel front desk staff provided excellent service. They offered luggage storage, proactively provided an umbrella, and helped me exchange coins. The ground and first floors house a charming Western-style bar/restaurant with a great atmosphere, perfect for guests to relax in.
Finally, the hotel's location is unbeatable. It's right by the Nakasu-Kawabata subway station, surrounded by an abundance of dining and entertainment options. It's also within very easy walking distance to the Nakasu Yatai (food stalls) and Tenjin.

AAnonymous UserThe system was very simple and efficient, which I appreciated. I only stayed one night for a layover, so I didn't need to organize my luggage during my stay. Therefore, having to store my bags on a different floor than my sleeping area wasn't an inconvenience at all. The fact that they provided loungewear was also a great bonus.
However, noise in the sleeping area could be a bit of an issue. While I can tolerate noise from others, I was stressed wondering how much my own rustling sounds were audible to those around me. 😂 That being said, it was actually very quiet, and the only noise I noticed was the opening and closing of doors near the entrance. I would definitely book this hotel again if I have the chance!
As for the location... I checked in late at night and checked out early the next morning, so I left the hotel without really noticing the view.

GGuest UserThe hotel is newly opened. The location isn't close to the subway station, but it's not far either, about a 7-minute walk.
There's a 7-Eleven and several restaurants nearby.
Eating out is convenient; both Tenjin and Hakata stations are a 5-minute taxi ride away.
The front desk staff are very welcoming and speak good English, making communication smooth.
The rooms are fairly large, facing Canal City with beautiful views and convenient for sightseeing.
The room design is simple yet stylish.
Overall, very satisfied.
CchanKennyPosition good, 3 mins from metro, 3mins to supermarket.
You can drive, pay car park next to hotel
3 beds clean ok
But not recommend for family with oldies, need walk straight stairs
Not much sun light at all, only small window.
I cannot happy with the aircon dirrect to the bed..if turn low wind will get hot in the whole apt.
Is good if the washing has dry cloth function.
My mark is 7/10.
Hope can improve
Kkimi jerryPlease note that luggage storage is not available after check-out (it is available before check-in). If your flight is in the evening, you can store your luggage in lockers at the subway station and next to the hotel for a fee; however, the number of lockers is limited, so be sure to go early! Otherwise, this is an excellent accommodation choice. It's located above the subway station, opposite a shopping street and famous attractions. The Veloce café at the entrance of the shopping street is perfect for breakfast! The location is absolutely fantastic!
Facilities: A bag containing slippers, towels, earplugs, etc., is provided upon check-in. The towels and bag are returned to the front desk upon check-out; clean and convenient.
Cleanliness: I found it quite good. The rest pods were clean and comfortable, with non-sealed doors that latch from the inside.
Environment: The entrance, washroom/luggage storage/rest area are separated into three sections. The entrance is small and mainly for reception. After entering, the luggage lockers are large enough to easily handle even a 28-inch suitcase. The washroom area is also quite spacious. Further inside, the rest area is perfect for a good night's sleep.
Service: Young staff, very efficient and friendly.
Fukuoka hotels aren't cheap, but this type of city-center option, perfect for a one-night stay, is ideal for solo travelers. Although the space isn't very large due to cost considerations (compared to other hotels in Okinawa), it's convenient for getting around (with a subway one-day pass), making it a great choice in Fukuoka city!
GGuest UserThe self-check-in machine was easy to use and had a Chinese language option.
It's very close to Gofukumachi Subway Station, Exit 5.
The downside is there's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs to the exit – it was a real struggle! Then you take the escalator to the street level.
Once you exit, turn left, then turn left again at the first traffic light you see. Turn right when you see LAWSON, and the hotel will be right there.
The main entrance has two white wooden swing doors.
The only drawback is that the hotel doesn't provide a washing machine or dryer for guests. You have to take your clothes out to a self-service laundromat.
Our room had a huge crack in the window glass. I took a photo and showed it to the staff, and they said they were aware of it, so that's good, I guess.
The bathroom is small and has no place to hang towels or clothes. You have to step out of the shower to dry yourself, which can be cold when the air conditioning is on due to the temperature difference.
They only provide body wash and shampoo; you need to bring your own conditioner.
There's no mirror on the desk, which is inconvenient for women who need to do their makeup. Remember to bring your own mirror. There's only one mirror above the sink, but it's a bit far, making makeup application awkward.
The room space is quite large. We had no problem opening two 30-inch large suitcases.
The higher floors offer views of the buildings outside. You'll need to keep the curtains closed, or everyone will see inside! 😂
GGuest UserSummary: don't stay here. You've been warned. I've been to many capsule hotels in Japan. None were as horribly bad and overpriced as this one.
Good: close to the station and the staff do what they can within their (very confined) perceived limits
Bad: no sound insulation so you get to enjoy ambient sounds like traffic, trains and other patrons scuffling about during nighttime. The mattress is moldy, dirty and super thin so it doesn't feel comfortable unless you're used to sleeping on a moldy floor. The layout makes absolutely no sense at all. They tried cramming in as many capsules as possible in one small area and called it a day. 2 toilet stalls for 62 capsules? Laughable. The bath area is minuscule so you're queueing just to get a cramped dip. Lockers are minuscule and the luggage area is right next to the reception so you have to cross public area just to get some stuff out of your luggage. No space to unpack in peace either. I'd rather have them drop the breakfast and bathing area in favour of fixing the one thing they're supposed to deliver: a good night's sleep.
Consider this place a last resort, not a proper stay.

蓝蓝莓国王The hotel front desk staff were very friendly, and the hotel environment was clean and hygienic. The only downside, which is a common issue with all hostels, is the poor soundproofing. It's mainly due to other guests; you can always hear people rummaging through their luggage, often very loudly, even at two, three, or five in the morning.

GGuest UserI thought it was a cute place. Comfy bed with your own personal fan, plenty of room in the pod to have my laptop out, etc. I like the lobby that was like a sit down bar and you could socialize. The neighborhood was really cute too - lots of choices and it felt like truly living there as opposed to just a tourist. Staff super friendly and welcoming including repeat guests that I enjoyed interacting with too.

CCherylThe room is pretty and as per the pictures, but not functional.
Lighting was very poor and dark. The LED screen next to the tub was glaring, especially at night when going to bed. Even pulling down the blinds to cover the glass panels didn't work as it kept moving when blown by the aircon.
There are no lifts so you'll have to lug your luggage up 2/3 levels of stairs. No parking is provided too so you'll have to find any available lots around the area, which is limited especially on weekends.
