"This guesthouse has a really peaceful courtyard, located right next to the old town. It was incredibly quiet at night, perfect for a good rest. Walking to the center of the old town only took a few minutes. The room was spotlessly clean, and all the facilities were brand new. Lying in the room or relaxing in the courtyard, looking at the pool and the sky, made me feel completely at peace. Right across from the guesthouse is a fantastic coffee shop with amazing afternoon tea and a lovely atmosphere. I even met new friends there and we had a great time playing games together – this is exactly what travel should be like! Downstairs, there's a garden restaurant serving delicious local mushroom hotpot and stir-fried mushrooms, all very affordable. The garden also has many peacocks, and if you're lucky, you might even see one display its tail. It’s truly a place I could stay for a long time."

They even arranged a business car for airport pickup. The service, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly attentive. One night, I felt unwell in the middle of the night and thought everyone would be off duty, but after I mentioned it in the group chat, they immediately brought me an oxygen tank. **Environment:** The hotel is located at the foot of a snowy mountain, right at the entrance of Yuhu Village, offering first-class scenery. The hotel provides shuttle services to the village whenever needed. **Food:** The cured pork ribs and free-range chicken hotpot included in the hotel package was absolutely delicious – far better than the restaurants at InterContinental or Aman. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was exquisite, and I really enjoyed that style of breakfast. There's an all-day self-service bar with drinks and fruits, and the fruits are all high quality, including my favorite passion fruit. There's also a very tasty afternoon tea, which can be enjoyed on the lawn if the weather is good. **Activities:** During our stay, we participated in horseback riding and hiking to pick pinecones and mushrooms (the hotel doesn't allow guests to eat what they pick for safety reasons). The hiking scenery was beautiful, and even my seven-year-old child completed the entire trek. In short, it was truly a perfect experience."

The hotel's overall design details are very thoughtful, and the bedding is especially comfortable! So, I decided to extend my stay for another two nights without hesitation. They also provided welcome fruits and afternoon tea, both of excellent quality! The only downside was that the front desk staff seemed a bit rigid and unhelpful; they couldn't answer any of my questions. If they could improve their service awareness, the hotel's caliber would definitely go up another level!"

The distance to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the airport, and the high-speed rail station is also just right, making travel very easy. It’s much better than staying in the ancient towns, where getting around is a hassle and traffic is terrible. 2. **Room Upgrade & Views:** The front desk upgraded our room before check-in, and we could see the snow-capped mountains directly from our room, which was amazing! The room facilities were also quite complete. Taking a hot bath while watching the snow mountain or projecting movies was incredibly comfortable. 3. **Family-Friendly:** As soon as we entered, my child was captivated by the hotel's cats. They also provided kids' slippers, toothbrushes, sweet tremella soup for bedtime, and afternoon tea – everything was covered. Breakfast is available from 8 AM to 12 PM, which is a godsend for late risers. The complimentary afternoon tea is available until 9 PM, and you can even take it back to your room! Fantastic! 4. **Thoughtful Souvenirs & Gear:** The welcome gift included delicious flower cakes, an oxygen tank, and two sun-protective masks. I stayed for two days and asked for three sets. I hiked Jade Dragon Snow Mountain twice during my four days in Lijiang, and all the gear I used was from the hotel, which was really helpful! No need to buy anything outside! 5. **Excellent Facilities & Photo Opportunities:** The hotel has a gym, various Instagrammable spots, a swimming pool, and even travel photography services. Even without the professional service, you can take great photos yourself. Thumbs up! 6. **Golden-Star Butler Service:** This deserves a special mention. The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond! For example, we booked one night on two different platforms, and for our two-day stay, they arranged a complimentary airport drop-off service in a luxurious Mercedes business van – safe, comfortable, and fast! Any other service we needed, we just had to ask the front desk butler, and they almost always helped. Their service attitude and dedication deserve huge praise! 7. **Well-Appointed & Comfortable Room:** The room facilities were all-inclusive, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It was very comfortable, quiet, and safe to stay in. Finally, I have to mention that on our third day, we stayed at the Wyndham Villa Hotel, which was 500 meters away and twice the price. The experience there was nowhere near as good as Bamboo Boat's. We spent more money for less comfort! So, next time I go to Lijiang, I will definitely choose Bamboo Boat again! It's a charming traditional courtyard, and sitting there, soaking up the sun and sipping tea, was incredibly relaxing. Our room was spotless, with an antique charm, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. It was exceptionally quiet at night. The owner was incredibly thoughtful, meeting us at the alley entrance to help with our luggage. They also recommended authentic local food and less-traveled routes, helping us avoid many tourist traps. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, plenty of hot water, and all the amenities we needed. It's a great location, with a quiet atmosphere and heartwarming service. Plus, there are all sorts of cute little pets you can interact with and take photos of. I genuinely loved it here, and staying at this place in Lijiang Ancient City is definitely a no-brainer. I'll choose it again next time I visit!"
