"The hotel's location is superb, right next to Fushan Bay and May Fourth Square, with a seaside boardwalk just outside. The front desk lady upgraded me to an Executive Seaview Deluxe King Room. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unbeatable ocean view, and I could enjoy the beautiful sea and city landscape right from my bed. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. After checking in, Ginny added me on WeChat. The service was attentive and thoughtful; she'd check in every day to see how my stay was going. While having dinner at the Chinese restaurant on the third floor, a short-haired lady—I'm not sure if she was a manager or supervisor—noticed me wiping my child's hands from a distance. Because the restaurant only had alcohol wipes, she specifically sent someone downstairs to get alcohol-free wipes. She anticipated the guest's needs without even being asked, which shows true professionalism and attentiveness. It's these small gestures that make a huge difference. Every service staff member in the restaurant was also very gentle and friendly, and the food was excellent. I don't often write reviews unless I've had a genuinely great experience, and I would definitely choose the Haitian again for my next trip to Qingdao."

"My stay here exceeded all expectations! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center, and just a few minutes' walk to the subway. I booked a room with a view, and the sea view from the window was breathtaking, especially at night. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; despite being in a bustling area, it was completely quiet with the windows closed. Downstairs, there's a commercial district with everything you could ask for in terms of food, entertainment, and shopping. Both the front desk and room service were very prompt. "A special thanks to our concierge, Cherry, whose service was incredibly warm and thoughtful. As a first-time visitor, I wasn't familiar with the local area or transportation, and online food guides were chaotic and unreliable, making me worried about picking the wrong places. Cherry understood my desire to try authentic local cuisine and went above and beyond by taking her personal time to hand-draw a food map. This map clearly marked genuine BBQ joints,特色混沌 (local specialty wontons), and other established local eateries in the Shinan District. She cleverly helped me avoid tourist traps, precisely noting store locations, opening hours, and average spending per person. Beyond that, she kindly advised on transportation methods and reminded me to steer clear of congested routes.
The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. Our room was brightly lit with abundant natural light, and the soft furnishings were sophisticated yet minimalist. The guest room's facilities were all brand new and in perfect condition. The smart system was easy to operate, and the bathroom's water pressure was consistently good. The 'Cloud Pool' offered sophisticated lighting and ambiance, and the lounge area's sofas were soft and comfortable. The gym was luxuriously spacious, equipped with a full range of Technogym machines, and boasted panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city and the sea. "The price was a bit high for the May Day holiday, and the overall facilities didn't quite match the cost. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's especially great if you like shopping, as the MixC mall is right downstairs and very accessible. The toilet has an automatic flush, but I'm not sure if it's the water pressure or something else, but every time I sat down, some water would splash onto my legs. The sofa looks nice, but it's not very comfortable to sit on."

"First of all, I’d like to thank the incredibly friendly staff who managed to arrange an apartment room for us on the 34th floor with a breathtaking view of the East China Sea, even though we checked in at 1 am. There was also a fruit basket in our room upon arrival, which I’d like to highlight as a very positive touch, as it makes you feel valued as a guest. Overall, our stay at the Haiyi International was wonderful; the apartment was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were exactly as described. What’s more, the location is very central on the beach promenade, so we were able to enjoy the light show from our apartment every evening or take a mere 10-minute walk to the beach. For a family of three adults, this apartment is absolutely lovely, especially as it had two bathrooms as well as a fully equipped kitchen.
The only thing I would suggest improving is that the bedroom number two are separated from the living room by glass walls, and as these aren’t fully soundproof, you can hear people in the living room from the second bedroom. Another area for improvement is that, although there are curtains for the glass wall between the living room and bedroom number 2, there is a glass section next to the door to the room that cannot be covered by the curtain, which means the room is flooded with light coming through from the living room.
We also noticed during our stay that the hot water runs very slowly, unfortunately – though this is more down to the building itself.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Haiyi International and would book this hotel again for our next visit to Qingdao, thanks to the friendly staff, the excellent location and the facilities."

SShengsheng_This was my first time staying at an Atour Light hotel. The style is really interesting, with a predominantly blue theme, making it feel more geared towards a younger crowd.
The room size was pretty standard, not particularly large, but the cleanliness and service were excellent in every aspect. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and quickly helped with any requests we had.
However, the biggest issue with the room was the poor soundproofing. You could clearly hear people laughing or talking loudly in nearby rooms. This is definitely something that could use improvement.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and she was incredibly kind and welcoming. Her service was attentive and thoughtful; she proactively arranged a suitable room type for me and even provided helpful tips for exploring the local area. She patiently assisted with any requests I had. The hotel's location is excellent, right near May Fourth Square, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was clean and comfortable, creating a really pleasant atmosphere for my stay. I was genuinely impressed by the thoughtful service throughout my visit. Choosing this hotel for my trip provided such peace of mind. Next time I'm in Qingdao, I'll definitely be staying at The Westin again, and my first choice will be to find Nicky!

I have to praise the bed and mattress—they were perfectly comfortable, not too soft and not too firm, ensuring a deep sleep all night long. The staff were consistently polite and enthusiastic, never intrusive but always responsive when needed. The breakfast offered a wide selection, and the made-to-order items tasted fantastic. The afternoon tea area was quiet and elegant. Overall, the quality, service, and value for money were all top-notch. I felt completely at ease spending my money here. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe room's location is pretty good, quite close to Licang District center, Wanda Plaza, and Licun Night Market, and transportation is also very convenient. The front desk service attitude was also good. The downside is that the room isn't very soundproof, and the TV in the room didn't work. I reported the TV issue to the front desk, but it still couldn't be watched properly. Overall, the experience was decent, and the room price wasn't expensive for a National Day holiday trip.
