"Stayed at the newly opened City Hotel for the May Day holiday, and it exceeded all my expectations! The location is superb, very close to the high-speed train station and tourist attractions, making transportation super convenient. The decor features the iconic Bauhaus minimalist style, and since it just opened in 2025, all the facilities are brand new and spotlessly clean, which made me feel very comfortable and secure. The front desk service was warm and professional. The first round of the mini-bar was complimentary (including imported beer and sparkling water), and they even thoughtfully prepared chilled glasses – they really know their guests! The room was equipped with a smart toilet and wireless charging, and the bedding was comfortable with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast offered authentic German sausages and freshly made wontons, which were absolutely delicious. Upon checkout, the front desk even gave me some snacks, and the free laundry service was a lifesaver for my clothes. It's incredibly rare to find such a high-value hotel in a popular area during the May Day holiday. I'll definitely choose to stay here again!"

"Service was good. I accidentally booked a smoking room and I asked them to give me a non-smoking room at the lobby, they accepted it. And they didn't charge me extra. Also, it is easy to find, go to the location ( marked building ) and take a lift to the 4th floor, the lobby is there. The place is a bit old, but it was clean. That location and that price, I think it is good enough."

"Good place to visit, clean and tidy, big rooms, generous breakfast. We arrived almost around midnight and the next day my husband had a birthday, Ms. Tang Chengmin was amazingly nice, upgraded our room and helped me order decorations, food and drinks to make a surprise for my husband. "I chose this hotel for my layover and was extremely satisfied! The lobby is huge and beautiful, truly up to a 4-star standard. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with freshly ground coffee, which was a nice touch, and a variety of noodle dishes and other options. The room was large, clean, and even had a projector. The shower pressure was great and very comfortable. I genuinely recommend this place! They also offer airport shuttle service, which is a huge plus."

"On a road trip with friends, the hotel's location was superb. The Canton Tower was right across from our floor-to-ceiling window, just a few minutes' walk away. The front desk staff member was very sweet and explained everything in detail, including that we couldn't park at the entrance for more than five minutes."

"I brought my parents and family to Guangzhou for the Chinese New Year, and we stayed here for a total of 10 days! You can imagine how satisfied we were. The room rate during the New Year period was also excellent value for money, not as outrageous as other places, but within a reasonable range! The location is great; it takes about 10 minutes by taxi to get to any part of the city. There's a subway entrance just 100 meters across from the hotel, which is very convenient (though taxis are more convenient than the subway in Guangzhou; we always took taxis as the subway would take twice as long). I particularly want to give a special shout-out to the entire hotel staff for their high level of service awareness. Whatever requests we made, they always said, 'Yes! We can do that!' They never refused anything, which I absolutely loved! From Funny, the parking attendant on the first floor, who was enthusiastic, proactive, and kind; to every staff member at the 3A front desk; and up to the housekeeping staff who cleaned our rooms—everyone had a strong service意识 and was very nice! The hygiene was clean and within normal standards. During our stay, we had to switch rooms for a few days and needed to swap the pillows from our original room, which they also accommodated! To maintain such a high standard of service during the Chinese New Year, when the hotel was fully booked, is truly commendable! The only feedback I have is: there was a leak in the shower room; every time we finished showering, the floor and towels would get wet. This could be improved! The shower products could also be upgraded, even though I always bring my own. Other than that, I think everything else was excellent. At this price point, it's truly top-tier! I wish them prosperous business and continued success! Next time I come to Guangzhou, this will definitely be my first choice, because I've developed an attachment to this place! Haha (I forgot to take photos of the room, the first picture is the living room of a suite. If the off-peak season price isn't too high, I recommend getting a suite~)"

The experience was top-notch from start to finish. * **Lobby Atmosphere:** As soon as I stepped in, I was captivated by the grand high-ceiling design and the artistic golden installations. During the Chinese New Year, the festive decorations outside the buffet restaurant, like 'May wealth come immediately' and 'Good luck from the start,' were full of New Year's spirit, perfect for photos, and you could even scan a QR code to get a small gift. Such thoughtful details! * **Room Experience:** The room was spacious and bright, and the twin beds were incredibly soft and comfortable. The biggest surprise was the stunning lake view from the balcony; the panoramic vista of the clear lake was breathtaking. During the day, it was lush and green, and in the evening, the light was soft and gentle – it instantly put me at ease. * **Service Details:** The service was warm and attentive. Check-in was efficient and thoughtful, and from the front desk to room service, the staff were all enthusiastic, attentive, and responded promptly. Overall, whether for business or leisure, this hotel offers a truly comfortable experience. The location is convenient, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. It's definitely on my list for repeat stays in Guangzhou. Highly recommended!"

"Excellent! Right by the Pearl River! Just across the street! Superb location, great value for money, and very close to the subway station (Tuanyi Square Station)! Lots of small restaurants downstairs, and Beijing Road and Dafosi Temple are just a 10-15 minute walk away. The staff are very friendly, helping with luggage, greeting us proactively, and always ready to help – NICE! Also, the room was very clean and hygienic, with no bugs or cockroaches! The large bathtub was a big plus!"
