"We had a lovely family staycation at Colmar Tropicale and really enjoyed our time there. The surroundings were beautiful and made for a relaxing getaway. A heartfelt thank you to the team for upgrading our room and surprising my husband with a complimentary birthday dessert. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made his birthday extra special, and we truly appreciated it. The service throughout our stay was excellent. Every staff member we met was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only area that could use some improvement is the bathroom cleanliness, as it wasn't quite up to the standard we expected. Other than that, we had a great stay and created wonderful memories with our family. We'd definitely consider coming back again."

"I booked 3d2n for family events, and the place was fully booked as it was school holiday and PH at the same time. Service staff were really nice and friendly, we felt immediately welcomed upon checked-in. The deposit has to be paid in cash ONLY upon check-in, so make sure you have some cash ready in your wallet. They provide buggy service to the hotel room, however many were broken so there’s only one operating so waiting time is prolonged but manageable. My kids love riding the buggy so that is also an attraction by itself. It’s cheaper to buy breakfast on Trip apps than at the receptionist. The location is very remote and food delivery apps will not deliver here. There’s also no lunch and dinner service available unless you book way ahead before coming. So for lunch and dinner time we have to go out, it has become very inconvenient as we planned to stay longer inside and enjoyed the facility than eating outside. The overall facilities are nice, it is a very spacious place where we could conduct a lot of activities for the kids, from swimming to badminton to indoor games and not to mention hike in the morning - mind you the hiking is not-beginner-level. However there are some challenges we faced during our stay. One of the rooms that we booked has water issue, at night the water just stopped flowing. And on the second night, there is an unfortunate power outage caused by faulty electrical equipment that resulted to about 6 hours of blackout in few rooms and also the clubhouse. It is understandable and commendable that they tried to fix the issue a quick as they can, and service staff on the ground handled the communication well by keeping us updated with the repair progress, and even accommodate us as best they could. However it is still very unpleasant experience to stay in the dark and also our program has to be cancelled due to this unfortunate event. Overall the kids enjoyed their stay here. And the staff are also very helpful. With the price we pay it is worth the stay and hope this place can improve further, especially when handling full house booking during peak season."

"On our way back to Kuala Lumpur from Genting, we deliberately took a detour to stay at this chateau hotel near Colmar Tropicale, and it turned out to be the most delightful 'chill-out' spot of our trip. The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk to Colmar Tropicale, and the surrounding trails are perfect for leisurely strolls, leaving us feeling completely refreshed by the end of the day. I must particularly rave about the dining! For dinner, I initially went for a creative set menu featuring dishes similar to 'raw-marinated, cooked-marinated' style, but unfortunately, the chef was off that day. We opted for two other options instead, and they were absolutely divine – the French onion soup was so rich I wished I could have another bowl, and the fries were the crispiest I've ever had, a true delight for those who appreciate details. The post-dinner dessert and mung bean soup also defied expectations; I've had countless versions of these, but the flavors here were the most satisfying and not at all cloying. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, and I ordered so many egg dishes that I was stuffed. The Malaysian sausages seemed to be made of pure meat, which gave them a fantastic texture. I highly recommend having all three meals at the hotel; relaxing with good food and drinks is the perfect vacation. The check-in service here also felt like 'royal treatment,' with the front desk staff giving us a guided tour and explanation of the entire chateau. It was thoughtful and thorough. Although the room wasn't large, it was cozy, quiet, and had an excellent view. We were upgraded to the top floor, despite it not being a high-rise building. This place is perfect for a honeymoon or simply a few days of relaxation. I would definitely visit again."

"Room is big but is not well maintained.. Quite a lot of plug are not functioning. Air-corn’s compressor sound very loud. Hope this problem can be fix then will be perfect. Staffs are polite and helpful. Breakfast are good too. We like the environment there. Very relaxing. "

"This is my third time staying here. When I come to Genting, I only stay at this hotel. The air is good, it's cool, and the hotel is grand. Breakfast is decent; I always load up on the salad bar. The only downside is that the activities are a bit pricey. I saw they're fixing the elevators, so I guess next time I come, I'll be able to go straight to the outlets via elevator! In the evening, sitting by the pool with a fresh juice is just delightful."

"Chempaka 7 bathroom water pressure is high, water super hot. The only setback is the mirror fixed at a corner behind shower screen which is difficult to use. There are no aircon the room. During our stay the weather is hot even in the evening. Inside the room is unconfort able even with ceiling fan switch on."

"CNY staycation at Erya by Suria Hotspring Bentong. This was my second stay. Hotel was full house and quite crowded. Breakfast was basic with 5 main options plus toast and cornflakes. Coffee, tea, milk and juice provided. Food just average. Room was clean but on the second day there was no hot water at all. Hot spring has two pools with different temperatures, both hot and comfortable. Overall, okay for a short stay."

"The hotel is a little out of the way to town and other eateries. There is literally no grab/uber service to bring you out if you’re looking to adventure outside of the hotel. The food at the restaurant needs to be improved. We ordered char kway teow but it was served half cold."

"Lilla Resort Janda Baik is a peaceful and refreshing getaway, perfect for anyone looking to escape the busy city. The resort is surrounded by nature, with clean and spacious rooms that feel cozy and well-maintained. The environment is quiet, relaxing, and suitable for families, couples, or small groups. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is calm and enjoyable. However, because the resort is close to nature, ants can sometimes appear in the rooms and even get into the beds and toilets. It’s recommended to bring some insect repellents just in case. Overall, it’s still a pleasant stay with good service and a beautiful natural setting—great for a peaceful break if you don’t mind a bit of nature coming indoors."
