Eileen KateBest impromptu booking ever!
I booked the room the second I spotted the jacuzzi on the balcony with a mountain view and that was honestly just the beginning. I had no idea there’d be so many amenities, both for the family and separately for me, my daughter, and my husband. My only regret is only booking for one night.
Antara has so much to offer, and it’s just a few minutes from the more commercialized resort and theme park area, close enough to everything but without the crowds. The condo unit was huge and spotless for just the three of us. The carpets and curtains alone give off serious luxury vibes.
No breakfast included, but there’s a lovely brunch spot called The Lemon Tree right downstairs. We also caught an early dinner at Tono Izakaya, a Japanese restaurant nearby — highly recommend. We didn’t really need to head out to Skyworld Avenue, but my daughter had her heart set on the theme park, so we squeezed that in before check-in.
The staff are super friendly and easy to reach via WhatsApp.
Would 100% book again, and definitely for more than one night next time!

Anonymous UserFeels modern, new yet cozy for the family. Kids fell asleep on the sofa with the cool highland breeze blowing in from the balcony. Aircon redundant! Superb view of the hills and cool foggy air. Kitchenette well stocked with utensils. Can travel light since there's a washer/dryer provided for laundry. Regret not staying longer as not enough time to explore all the facilities available. From heated indoor pool, bowling, arcade, darts, simulated golf , cigar room, trampoline. Suitable from toddlers to seniors.
Link to Genting sky ave is convenient 15-20 walk but have to be fit as the walk fr Antara to Sky Ave is uphill. Despite the Aircon climate we were sweating. Walk back to Antara is a breeze as it's downhill. Overall we love this place.

Mystery solvedThe stay was good, clean, and easy access to the mall, casino and sky avenue. However be prepared for a 100m run from the entrance to your hotel room, it is actually wide enough and quite a nice walk 🤭 staff were well trained and attentive to any needs or questions you may have, not sure what amenities the hotel has as there wasn’t any that had directional cues for guests, so I’m guessing there aren’t any? I may be wrong

Alexis Tan kit manAntara Hotel is relatively new, and we were genuinely impressed with our stay. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. As both my husband and I are light sleepers, we always hope for a quiet environment when traveling, and the room we booked exceeded our expectations in that regard.
One of our favorite features was the balcony with a lovely view. We spent the evening enjoying some beer and snacks while taking in the cool breeze, which was a wonderful way to unwind. The bed was comfortable, and I especially liked the bedroom layout. Having a separate bedroom with a door helped reduce noise and made the stay even more restful.
The bathroom was another highlight. It was spacious, clean, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day.
That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. At a room rate of around RM400+ per night, it would be nice if hand towels or face towels were provided in addition to bath towels. Also, bottled drinking water is not provided. Instead, the hotel uses a water filtration machine that dispenses purified water directly from the tap.
The location is connected to Genting via a link bridge, but be prepared for about a 15-minute walk. Younger guests will likely find it manageable, but I would not recommend the walk for elderly visitors. Fortunately, the hotel provides buggy rides to the escalator area, which helps save energy and is probably one of the most convenient services offered.
Overall, the rooms are cozy, comfortable, and offer good value for the price. If you prefer being just a few minutes away from your room while exploring Genting, you may want to stay at Genting Grand or First World Hotel instead. However, if you don’t mind a short stroll and prefer a quieter, more relaxing environment, Antara Hotel is definitely a good choice.

Great! A truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with staff who were friendly and we got a room with a nice mountain view. The room was spotless, comfortable and there are many eateries and convenience stores nearby. Drawback was a few cancelled trips from Grab, who were not willing to go up Genting, but nevertheless we still managed to get a ride.

We still rated 5 stars as our stay was great overall. Just wanted to let you know that even though the ”DO NOT DISTRUB” sign was on, my friend saw staff and the manager opening her door room. Nothing was missing. The air conditioner also couldn't be adjusted, but everything else was fine.

Guest UserOur trip to Genting is by car, we are just right outside of the hotel entrance. Open space road side parking, plenty of vacant after 6pm. Check in is fast, front desk staff is very politely and helpful. So does the security officer. Nothing much to talk about the room, just a twin queen sized bed, toilet is small, hot shower is provided. No TV is a surprise to us, but it's doesn't matter becauee we came back to room after 10pm, just bath and sleep for the next day. Level 13 viewing deck has good sunset view of the pagoda. When there is thick fog, Genting looks like a cyberpunk city at night under camera. Level 12 outdoor seating has good morning view too. Our room comes with breakfast, though the breakfast is a bit disappointed. Overall experience of the stay is surely above average.

Our families thoroughly enjoyed the convenient one-night stay in this spacious mid-hill apartment, which offered stunning, misty views of Genting Highlands. While the pool and gym were perfect for the kids and adults to unwind, and on-site restaurant. Overall, the comfortable accommodations provided great value for two families, though better planning for meals is essential.

The room itself was really clean and tidy. The outside of the hotel didn't look great, but the room was lovely. The only downside was the lift; we had to take the stairs when checking out because only one lift was working, which was a bit inconvenient. Everything else was fine for me and my family. Please fix the lifts so more people can use them for check-in and check-out.
