"After the Gaokao (college entrance exam), my friends and I decided to visit Nanjing. We stumbled upon the Atour Hotel Zhongshan Ling and what a great choice it was! The hotel is located right within the Zhongshan Ling scenic area. It used to be an orphanage school where Soong Mei-ling and Soong Ching-ling once taught, so it's absolutely steeped in history and feels incredibly significant. The rooms are charming with a full民國 (Republic of China) style and all the amenities you could ask for. Hotel staff member Zoe provided excellent service, always accommodating our requests. Five-star rating! Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it~"

"This hotel is definitely a great place to walk your kids! The ecology is very good! We even saw a hare! But maybe it’s because it’s outdoors! It seems like the door to the candy room is a little broken! Not so easy to close! Then the electric cars in the park require money to use but they are too slow! And the cost is a bit high! The service attitude at the front desk is very good! Very eager to help! The road to the swimming pool is not easy to walk! Must be very careful! It's easy to fall! The locker room environment needs cleaning! The interior of the room is clean and acceptable!"

"Nanjing Yin Nanmendong Hotel was an unexpectedly perfect experience. Tucked away in a Ming and Qing dynasty ancient dwelling right in the heart of the Laomendong scenic area, it truly offers a tranquil retreat amidst the bustle. Step outside and you're in the lively marketplace; close the door and you're in a serene and elegant江南 (Jiangnan) secret garden. The white walls, dark-tiled roofs, ancient trees, courtyards, corridors, and water features all exude a sense of Zen and ancient charm. The design perfectly blends traditional architectural elements with modern wabi-sabi aesthetics, making every photo Instagram-worthy. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. Amenities like underfloor heating, a giant projection screen, a mini tea set, and a complimentary minibar were all provided, showing attention to detail everywhere. The service was even more thoughtful and attentive. The butler-style service was gentle and meticulous, patiently assisting even with late-night check-ins. Requests for food delivery or borrowing items were handled promptly and efficiently. Although the breakfast was exquisite, it still captured the authentic Nanjing local flavor, with delicious local snacks like duck blood and vermicelli soup and small wontons. Plus, there were two gentle and adorable cats! The location is superb, offering immediate access to Laomendong's food and nightlife. Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) and the city wall are within walking distance. Overall, it's quiet, comfortable, and steeped in ancient charm – the most poetic place to stay in Nanjing, allowing you to truly experience the beauty of the slow Jiangnan lifestyle. Absolutely worth a second visit."

"I am very satisfied with the environment here. There are many large lawns and fresh air. I specially found this place to take my pet and friends out for a trip. The most noteworthy thing is the service here, which is very considerate! Special thanks to the girl who was responsible for connecting with me throughout the whole process. She is very considerate and has arranged everything about dining habits. The food is also delicious beyond imagination! Very hygienic! Because the first day was very good, I extended it for another day. In short, it was a perfect experience! The overall cost-effectiveness is super high. "I've stayed at many InterContinental hotels, and I can confidently say that InterContinental Nanjing is my top choice for hosting friends or for business needs. The reason is simple: it consistently meets luxury hotel standards. This recent stay was, without a doubt, my most satisfying. Since I'm a regular guest, I always coordinate with my butler, Alice, beforehand, and this time was no exception. Alice thoughtfully arranged an upgrade to a lake-view suite and even prepared a personalized room key with my name on it! 🥰 This made me incredibly happy. I really need to commend the concierge team at InterContinental Nanjing. They're always impeccably dressed in their concierge uniform, swift in opening car doors and handling luggage when I arrive or depart, and consistently stationed at the entrance, ready to assist. Their service throughout is efficient and professional, yet always warm and friendly, with a welcoming smile. The check-in process was smooth. The hotel's public areas and rooms have an 'old money' aesthetic, evoking the glamour of the millennium's golden age with its dazzling lights. While some might find the facilities a bit dated, I personally enjoy this classic, refined style. The views are excellent, offering a panoramic overlook of Nanjing. The hotel's central location means everything is close by. Xuanwu Lake, Fuzimiao, Sycamore Avenue, and Deji Plaza are all within about a ten-minute drive. This is a significant reason why I choose to stay here when hosting friends – after all, no one wants to spend a lot of time stuck in traffic. The Zifeng Tower is also a Nanjing landmark, and admiring it from Xuanwu Lake offers a unique glimpse into Nanjing's beauty. The hotel breakfast is delicious, though unfortunately, I'm not much of a food critic, so I can't give an objective review like a food blogger. 🥲 I also want to praise Alice again. Because I stay here so often, I've known her for a long time. Whenever I need a pillow change or have any issues with the room, Alice always responds and resolves them immediately. I don't know about other butlers, but Alice's service is truly, truly exceptional. Now for a small suggestion after all the praise: personally, I think the welcome fruit should be placed in the room before check-in, rather than guests having to bring it up themselves. Guests should feel fully respected upon arrival. But whatever the reason, whether for business travel, hosting friends, or a solo trip, InterContinental Nanjing remains a high-standard, high-quality hotel. I hope the hotel continues to strive for excellence, paying more attention to the small details, and always aiming to provide the best experience for its guests."

"Facilities: The rooms are well-equipped and the supplies are of high quality. Hygiene: Clean and relatively new. Environment: Good environment, green mountains and clear waters. Welcome fruits: Delicious. Egg picking experience: The farm is large, with complete entertainment facilities, suitable for children to play. Pick 2 kilograms of seasonal fruits: Many varieties, good taste."

"The room was very average, there was not even a desk for working. My husband and I both stepped on nails while taking a shower, and we informed the housekeeper when we checked out. Bad review. After going out for dinner at night, I returned to the room and opened the door to see a cat on the bed. I was very angry. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room, and the cat kept meowing outside the window all night. I couldn't sleep well at all. I asked the housekeeper if I could play billiard. She said no, she didn't have the key. Bad review. I came here just to play ball and sing. Won't come again anyway. And breakfast is just a bowl of noodles."

"The room is quite decent, but the lack of an elevator is a drawback. The swimming pool is good but has limited opening hours. The quality of the breakfast is okay, just handmade and casual. I feel that the number of service staff is not enough. There are no other major problems. In addition, the towels are generally old and it is best to replace them with new ones."

"First off, I want to commend the front desk staff for their excellent service, especially with the room upgrade. Secondly, the hotel environment is fantastic. While breakfast is outsourced, the quality is good. Lake Biwa is incredibly close; you can take a leisurely stroll around it every day. The towering trees are beautiful and very relaxing for both mind and body. Finally, for the cons: the facilities are a bit dated. The most distressing experience was when a travel companion got stuck in the bathroom after we upgraded to a family room. The door was jammed shut and couldn't be opened, even by two staff members. Eventually, an engineer had to come and pry it open with a screwdriver. It's frightening to think what would have happened if no one else was in the room; self-rescue would have been impossible without a phone, and there's no phone in the bathroom. Due to its location, shouting for help wouldn't have reached the hallway either. I strongly suggest the hotel install call buttons in the bathrooms. Aside from that incident, everything else was great, and I highly recommend the family room."
