Sanya Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"The large sea view from the room was nice, but the in-room facilities felt a bit outdated. There was nowhere to hang towels, and the tissue box only had a few crumpled tissues left, clearly remnants from a previous guest. The most frustrating part was trying to find the kids' club. I asked the front desk several times, and they just kept saying 'turn left outside, it's in the building next door,' without mentioning it was in a different hotel. We walked back and forth multiple times under the scorching sun and couldn't find it. When we asked another staff member, they said this hotel doesn't even have a kids' club! I saw reviews online of other guests using the infinity pool, but the front desk also failed to mention it was at the Belmont Hotel, so we just assumed it wasn't open. The front desk was also vague about the breakfast restaurant's location, just saying 'in the building next door.' Every time we went to that 'next door building,' we had to walk a long way under the blazing sun. Whether it's a kids' club or a water park, why can't they clearly state it's in a different hotel? Even if it's 'next door,' it should still be part of *their* hotel. Who would guess it's a completely different property without clear information? Our butler added us on WeChat after we had been running around all day and went out in the evening, but we didn't see it until the next day at check-out when they reminded us to add them. What's the point then? How can I possibly leave a good review with an experience like that? Objectively, the facilities at the partner hotels are quite good, making the overall value for money reasonable. But shouldn't the subjective service keep up? It's just a matter of saying a few more words, yet they made everything so complicated every time."

"This is a courtyard-style hotel, beautifully situated halfway up the mountain. Robert checked us in with excellent and incredibly patient service, explaining all the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. I was extremely pleased with the room upon entering; it was wonderfully cool and comfortable because the air conditioning had been turned on in advance. The room was also very spacious, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Any service we needed was promptly delivered by staff, and even our takeaways were brought to the room by a robot! The hotel felt very safe and secure. I saw a swimming pool below my room, but unfortunately, my itinerary was too packed to enjoy it. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance."

"Coming from Haitang Bay, it was a bit of a trek, but super close to the airport, which was great. Everything else was pretty good too; the kids said they want to stay for three nights next time! 😃 The poolside room was really convenient, and they even provided a dehumidifier, though I didn't find it particularly damp. The hotel itself isn't huge, but it felt 'small yet perfectly formed,' and very clean. The breakfast buffet was decent – standard fare, but surprisingly, they had sushi and mashed potatoes, which was a nice touch and covered a wide range. Getting to the beach was easy, and there were lots of shells. The hotel's service was absolutely amazing! Just like I read on Xiaohongshu, there were quite a few foreign guests. The staff were all very polite and well-organized. Our lovely housekeeper, Lily, was especially diligent and responsible! Thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Oh, and the kids really loved the teddy bears too!"

"I originally booked an executive suite with a sea view on another platform, but forgot to make a reservation... By the afternoon, there were no sea view rooms left, so I temporarily chose a mountain view, which was also great. The room was spacious, and my family was very satisfied. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful, arranging two rooms for us even though the sea view rooms weren't available. I'm very grateful for their assistance. My child loved the kids' room key card. In the evening, they delivered fruit and even brought a stroller for my child. Staying at the Marriott with a child was a very thoughtful experience! The afternoon tea was delicious, but the wait was too long, about two hours. I hope they can improve that."

Our butler, Anna, provided incredibly thoughtful and meticulous service. She kindly upgraded us to a sea-view room with a fantastic angle upon check-in. The moment I pushed open the curved floor-to-ceiling windows, I was absolutely stunned by the ocean view – a breathtaking, unobstructed 180-degree panorama of Sanya Bay. Thumbs up! She proactively communicated with us before check-in to understand our needs and helped us with kids' amenities and guided us on sightseeing routes during our stay. The hotel has an exclusive pathway to the beach, so it's just a few steps to the sand, making it super convenient for morning and evening strolls with the kids to enjoy the sea view. The surrounding commercial street has everything you could want for food, drinks, and entertainment – seafood, bubble tea, snacks, you name it, so you don't have to worry about finding places to eat. The daily robot performance and interaction captivated the little ones; they were glued to it, actively chatting and taking photos with the robots, and didn't want to leave. The rooftop infinity pool is stunning, offering expansive sea views, and watching the sunset from there creates an incredible atmosphere. The hotel's location is truly exceptional. For families traveling with kids, this place is a no-brainer!"

If you're seeking ambiance, Instagrammable spots, and fewer crowds, you might prefer The Rosewood Sanya or The Sanya EDITION. But if your goal is a family trip with pre-teens, Atlantis is the absolute best, bar none! Let's compare it to other options: * **Compared to Universal Studios Hotel:** It offers better value for money and water activities. * **Compared to Disney Hotels:** It's incredibly good value and suitable for both boys and girls. * **Compared to Guangzhou Chimelong Hotels:** It’s more refined, sophisticated, and has an international flair. Here are the pros: 1. **Room Layouts:** There are many rooms with two 1.5-meter double beds, which is incredibly convenient for parents – those who know, know! 2. **Prompt Service:** Once you call, items are usually delivered within 5 minutes. 3. **Exceptional Cleanliness:** This is a rare find for a family-friendly hotel. 4. **Daily Replenishments:** Fresh towels and linens are provided daily, which is great if you love showering. The mini-fridge is also restocked daily, keeping the kids happy. 5. **Dining Capacity:** Despite the crowds, there are plenty of breakfast seats across two underground restaurants, plus options on the 18th and 48th floors, and a club. 6. **Comprehensive Entertainment:** The Aquaventure Waterpark, C Show, and various activities mean you won't get bored even after a week. There are a few cons, too: 1. **Beach Hawkers:** Motorbike riders on the beach constantly approach you for photos and business, which is annoying. This is a common issue in Haitang Bay. 2. **Ocean Conditions:** The waves are too strong for swimming in the sea. Although there's a designated area, I still don't recommend it. Finally, a shout-out to our butler, Blue Whale. Their service was excellent and very helpful."

"The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, and the front desk, concierge, and cleaning staff are all very friendly. KAIKAI from guest services was always quick to respond to any requests. The sea view is absolutely stunning. It's also conveniently close to the airport, and while planes fly overhead, it didn't disturb us at all. The mini-farm with its chicks is adorable, and so is the hotel's black Shiba Inu. Although the Shiba is only outside for a few hours in the morning and afternoon, I felt it was a bit too hot for him. It would be great if the hotel could provide him with an indoor space. The only downside is the sheer number of children. Sometimes they run around the corridors or slam doors loudly, which can be disruptive to others. Overall, I'm very satisfied. It seems particularly well-suited for families with children. For couples, it could work if their rooms are not located near family rooms. The steak set meal at the hotel restaurant was good value and delicious. However, the waitress, who might have been new, had some communication issues, but everything was eventually resolved."

I have to give a special shout-out to the housekeeping staff – when I returned to my room in the evening, I found a cute little cake made of rose petals and towels on the bed, along with a handwritten birthday card. There was also a delicate small cake and a fruit platter on the desk, which instantly cheered me up. These little touches weren't just standard procedure; they genuinely made me feel cared for. Now, let's talk about the super value-for-money ”package including dinner buffet for two.” I used to think all hotel buffets were pretty much the same, but this one changed my mind. The freshness of the food was top-notch, and there was a wide variety of seafood. The biggest surprise was finding grilled crocodile! It was my first time trying it; the meat was firm, a bit like a cross between chicken and fish, and dipping it in the special sauce was amazing. The tropical fruit section was a colorful palette, with rambutan, wax apples, jackfruit, and freshly opened Hainan coconuts that were sweet and refreshing – I drank two in one go. What truly elevated the dinner experience was the ambiance. The restaurant faces the sea, and as the evening sunset glowed through the floor-to-ceiling windows, dining while watching the sunset was so romantic it left me speechless. There was also a Filipino band playing live, with soft jazz accompanying the sound of the waves, making me want to stay an extra hour. The waiter saw the cake on our table and even offered to take photos and asked if we needed help cutting it. In short, this birthday experience far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, the sea-view restaurant offered an unbeatable view, and the buffet was excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to celebrate an anniversary or simply treat themselves. Remember to choose the package that includes dinner – you definitely won't regret it! 🌟"
