"It's very quiet, and the room was clean. I stayed on the sunny side, so I got sunlight in the mornings, perfect for sunbathing. Being on a higher floor, I could watch the small train slowly pull into the station nearby. In the distance, I could see the Yongjiang River, making for a very open view. The location is excellent, and there's a pool with a comfortable water temperature, ideal for a vacation and relaxation. There are many dining options nearby, very close to Taicang Mianjie Restaurant, Sanheng Shuijianbao, and the Corner Food Stall. Yuetang Park is right next door, and Tianyi Pavilion isn't far either, perfect for a relaxing stroll. Plus, the subway station is right beside the hotel, making it convenient to get anywhere. The hotel even brought us a complimentary sweet tremella soup every night, which was a lovely, heartwarming touch. The front desk and lobby staff were also very welcoming and highly professional. When we arrived, they upgraded our room directly. My work pressure has been immense lately, so being able to spend a week here, sleeping in until I naturally woke up, and enjoying some seafood, was truly relaxing."

"從3號線的明樓站B出口出來後一直往前走（不用過任何馬路/紅綠燈哦），五分鐘後就到了，一路各種飯店都有。酒店大堂氣派，有養生茶水喝。前台的兩個美女很熱情，不僅給我的身份證裝了個保護套還送了一袋小零食。311房間很大，一大一小兩個床都很舒服，衞生間乾濕分離。早餐啥都有，我沒照全哈，雞翅膀啊雲吞啊河粉啊咖啡啊芬達啊水果啊炒菜啊都有的。早餐的三個工作人員收盤子啊添碟子啊添菜都很及時。"

GGuest UserEven before I checked in, a butler reached out to confirm my arrival time and inquire about any specific needs or preferences. Our butler was absolutely fantastic! Since I mentioned I'm quite sensitive to insects, they thoughtfully arranged a private hot spring room with better privacy for me. All the staff were incredibly friendly, and the cleanliness was impressive. The butler even managed to get me a disposable bathtub liner and laundry detergent when I asked. Soaking in the indoor hot spring while reading an e-book and watching a movie was incredibly relaxing and truly helped relieve my fatigue. I'll definitely be back! Our travel photographer, Yingnan, was also excellent. As I'm sensitive to the sun, she was very accommodating and always worked quickly to get the shots. Overall, I was extremely satisfied! The only slight drawback was breakfast. I went at 9:30 AM, which might have been a bit late, and there were a lot of people, making it feel a little disorganized.

GGuest UserAt the end of April, my family set out to visit Ningbo Junlan Resort Hotel. The housekeeper carefully sent us various travel guides and precautions in the morning. We booked two adjacent mountain view rooms with great views. Especially the one at the end, the room layout is neatly cleaned, giving people a comfortable and relaxing feeling, and the window view and balcony are very beautiful. This time, there are elderly people traveling, and the whole family feels that the hotel is surrounded by mountains and the air is suitable. The air here is great, so let yourself breathe more oxygen. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel has large portions, many varieties, and affordable prices. I ate here for three nights. Opposite the Qianhu Secret Realm, it is very convenient to rent a car and ride, and it is also convenient to take a small train to Xiao Putuo. The hotel is in a great location. The afternoon tea at Manshu Mountain House is excellent. I came to have afternoon tea for three consecutive afternoons. The old baby at home was very satisfied. The stone kiln bread was delicious, the afternoon tea cakes were delicious, the scenery was pleasant, and there was a cute swing. I came here for three days and four nights, and it rained one day. The hotel's young man Xiao Meng kept driving a shuttle bus to pick us up. He was very polite and patient. The service was particularly good. I like it. The housekeeper is also very good, caring about us every day and giving us a lot of benefits. I am really happy to come to this hotel. The living and playing experience is really great. I will come again next year.

GGuest UserThe experience of staying at Langham Place Ningbo was far beyond expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I could feel the brand's unique elegance and warmth. The front desk reception was very efficient, and the smiling service made people feel very friendly. Even in the peak season, the check-in procedures were completed quickly, and the hotel facilities were also informed of the usage time. The details were thoughtful.
The deluxe room I booked had an excellent view. The floor-to-ceiling windows showed the beautiful scenery of the city skyline and the river view, which was especially charming when the lights were on at night. The room furnishings are both modern and oriental. The integration of wooden elements adds a sense of warmth. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the sound insulation effect is very good, ensuring a good night's sleep. The mini bar has a rich selection of drinks, and the free local snacks are even more surprising, making people feel the sincerity of the guests.
The dining aspect is even more of a highlight. The Cantonese cuisine of Mingge Chinese Restaurant is amazing, and the signature roast goose has crispy skin and tender meat, which is just right with sour plum sauce; the buffet breakfast at Langham Cafe is diverse, from freshly made Ningbo glutinous rice balls to Western-style baking. The ingredients are fresh, and the chef will take the initiative to ask about taste preferences, and the service is meticulous.
The hotel is also very conveniently located, within walking distance of the business district and subway station, making travel easy. The fitness center is fully equipped, and you can enjoy the night view through the floor-to-ceiling windows when exercising in the evening, which will make you feel tired. When checking out, the front desk took the initiative to ask about the stay experience and gave a customized souvenir, which was very impressive.
Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, Langham Place Ningbo can bring a high-quality experience with a high cost-effectiveness. I will definitely choose here again next time I come to Ningbo.

Arrived at the hotel before 12 o'clock, and luckily checked in immediately and got an upgraded lake view room 🤭The room comes with a small balcony, and the view is really good! The mood has become happy~ The room is quite large, and it is not crowded at all for two people to live with two suitcases. It is cleaned very well, and it is very safe to stay. I also went to the hotel's swimming pool in the afternoon. The overall environment is also very good and clean. Of course, the service is also great. Everyone greets you friendly when entering and leaving, and there are also brothers to help pick up and send luggage. If I have the opportunity to travel to Ninghai next time, I have to choose Sheraton~

LLaolang1978I have been to Dongqian Lake many times. This is my first time staying at Howard Johnson Hotel. The overall environment of the hotel is quite quiet. It is very pleasant to take a walk by the lake in the hotel, and there are swans to feed. It is quite close to Hanling Old Street at night, which is very convenient. The drip coffee in the room is not bad, and four bottles of mineral water are directly placed, which is very considerate. There are many types of breakfast to choose from, and Ningbo characteristics can basically meet the tastes of different guests. The children's playground in the hotel is reasonably charged and is quite suitable for bringing children to stay, which can free adults' hands. The price is still very cost-effective if you stay on weekdays. Overall, it is cost-effective and recommended to stay.

GGuest UserFace-to-face staff are excellent with English speaking guests. Over the phone speaking English at night it’s impossible to order in-room dining or even communicate to have dishes collected. Food takes up to 45 minutes to arrive and is cold and in poor condition. Ordered an Angus burger - cold wedges and the bun was hard and cracked (perhaps left under heat lamp for too long); very poor value for money. Even buffet breakfasts are a little rough around the edges. On day 1 there was honey. On day 2 there was no will in the restaurant to supply honey or even check with the kitchen.
Again, all staff (including janitors and handymen) are usually amazing and helpful. The team went out of their way to make my child feel welcome with free toys and activity packs.

As our car wound along the lakeside road, the understated grey-tiled roofs and white walls of the Park Hyatt Ningbo came into view. This luxurious sanctuary, transformed from an ancient Jiangnan water village, seamlessly blends traditional architectural elegance with modern sophistication. Upon arrival, May, the Front Office Manager, greeted us with a warm smile that instantly melted away our travel fatigue. With professionalism and attention to detail, she introduced the hotel’s amenities and kindly recommended an upgrade to the Lakeside Suite—a decision that immersed us in a dreamlike Jiangnan experience far beyond our expectations.
The Lakeside Suite framed Dongqian Lake like a living ink-wash painting. Each morning, we opened the floor-to-ceiling windows to mist-kissed waters resembling a classical scroll; by dusk, the lake shimmered in amber hues under the setting sun, dotted with distant sailboats. Inside, the suite masterfully balanced traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary comfort—exquisitely carved screens divided the tranquil living space, embroidered cushions complemented modern art pieces, and the freestanding bathtub by the window created the illusion of floating above the lake. The smart bedside control system, allowing us to adjust lighting and curtains with a touch, harmonized technology with timeless elegance.
May’s service was nothing short of impeccable. Noticing our preference for quiet mornings, she proactively adjusted housekeeping schedules. When we expressed interest in local flavors, she not only recommended authentic Ningbo restaurants but also hand-drew a map of nearby attractions. These thoughtful, personalized touches transformed a routine stay into a heartfelt experience. At checkout, a carefully prepared gift and a handwritten note from May added the perfect sentimental farewell.
Park Hyatt Ningbo redefines luxury through details—not in opulent extravagance, but in the artful fusion of cultural heritage, intuitive service, and refined design. Here, every corner whispers a Jiangnan tale, and every gesture carries genuine warmth. As Dongqian Lake’s waves continue to ripple, the memories woven by this retreat linger, promising our return to this lakeside haven.
