MMy muyaoMy weekend stay at the Bellagio Shanghai, operated by Suning, was a truly comfortable and relaxing urban getaway. The hotel's location and views are, of course, outstanding. Watching the Suzhou Creek and the Pudong skyline at night, all the quintessential Shanghai charm unfolded before my eyes. The hotel's aesthetic also really appealed to me; it doesn't chase flashy modernity, but instead has a timeless and understated classic feel that withstands the test of time. The room was very comfortable, especially the bedding, which was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. Even casual photos turned out beautifully – it's the kind of place that's pretty from any angle, without needing to deliberately find a good shot. This time, I particularly want to thank Penny. Over the years, I've stayed in many hotels, and once the hardware reaches a certain standard, it's truly the people who make the difference. Penny left me with an impression that can be summarized in two phrases: meticulous attention to detail and thorough consideration. Before and after check-in, she proactively sought to understand our preferences and needs. Many things didn't require repeated explanations; she had already thought of them in advance. What's remarkable is that this attentiveness never felt forced; she had excellent discretion, making the entire weekend feel very relaxed. One small incident, in particular, is worth mentioning. Even after her shift, Penny continued to help coordinate and arrange things for us, and she specifically clarified our personal preferences one by one. Guests may not always realize how much internal communication is involved, but the seamless experience she delivered speaks volumes about her dedication and professionalism. Good service is never just about enthusiastic words; it's about anticipating what the guest hasn't thought of, and having already arranged what the guest has thought of. Penny excelled in this regard. It was a weekend without a tight itinerary or any special plans – just enjoying the views, getting good sleep, and leisurely passing time at the hotel. Ironically, this was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing breaks I've had recently. The hardware, views, and ambiance of the Bellagio Shanghai are all worth a return visit, but what truly makes someone choose a hotel again are often these small details in the service. Thank you, Penny, for your care. I will definitely choose this hotel again and hope to see you next time.

GGuest UserHuaihai Road's Hidden Gem Hotel | Seriously Good, You Guys! Girls! I've found a hidden gem of a hotel, and I just can't help but shout about it! Can you believe it's only around 100+ RMB per person, right in the heart of Shanghai's Xuhui district? The location is absolutely perfect! It's a 2-minute walk from Changshu Road subway station, making it convenient to get anywhere. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by the attention to detail. A staff member proactively helped me with my luggage and even took it to my room, which made me feel very secure. The room has a fresh air system, so the air quality is excellent! The bedding is so soft I didn't want to get up, and the disposable toiletries are very complete. I especially want to highlight the bathroom. The automatic smart toilet even had a disinfection seal – a clean freak like me was absolutely thrilled! The shared bathrooms are also disinfected after each guest, sparkling clean. At night, I connected my Bluetooth headphones to watch TV; it was quiet and private, just perfect. There's even a laundry room with both a washing machine and a dryer, which is ideal for travelers! The hotel is called 'Yi Zhi Ning Meng Hotel (Shanghai Huaihai Road Branch),' located on the 18th floor of Yunhai Building, No. 1329 Huaihai Middle Road. Truly a high-value, little slice of happiness. I highly, highly recommend it! #BudgetHotelMonthlyRent #ShanghaiHuaihaiRoadBoutiqueHotel #TimeAgents #Anime #WhereToStayWhenTraveling #ShanghaiTravel #XuhuiAccommodation #HotelNearSubwayStation #SoloTravelerAccommodation #StudentBudgetHotel

SShengjiangningmengThis is my second time at the Ritz-Carlton Pudong, and the facilities are, as expected, top-notch. Since I have a flight to the UK in two days, I decided to spend both days fully enjoying the hotel experience. The concierge team thoughtfully prepared extra bottled water for me in advance, and also gifted me a little lion charm and a personalized room key. The handwritten card was a truly warm and sincere touch, showing they remembered details I had mentioned, and they even helped me with restaurant reservations. I also took the opportunity to experience the Ritz-Carlton spa. While the price might be a bit higher, the quality of service and the staff's attitude are absolutely impeccable.

GGuest UserThis is our second weekend stay here with the kids. Our room had a great view of Century Park and even a glimpse of the 'Three-piece Suite' (Lujiazui skyscrapers) in the distance. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly. While the kids' play area didn't have a huge variety of activities, it was certainly enough to tire them out! Being right above Kerry Parkside, dining and shopping were super convenient. We'll definitely be back again next time!

AAnonymous UserThe staff across all departments were fantastic: the front desk lady proactively showed us to our room, the pool staff offered towels and bottled water and directed us to the hot tub, and the doorman, SPA therapist, gym receptionist, and restaurant servers were all enthusiastic, prompt, and attentive. Staying at The Peninsula Shanghai again truly felt like a home away from home.

GGuest UserPurely came here with the kids for a change of scenery to do homework. All the staff were great. There was a slight issue with the TV, but it was promptly resolved after we reported it. The night snack server was very nice, and the tangerine peel red bean soup was delicious. They even provided extra ice cubes on the side, which shows great attention to detail. We'll be back in a few days.

GGuest UserI made a last-minute decision to stay at this hotel, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. They personally escorted me to my room, explaining all the features and amenities, and even highlighted the hotel's special services. The room offered a direct view of the Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' skyline, including the Bund and the Oriental Pearl Tower – the entire panorama was right before my eyes. Although the hotel has been around for a while, it's still very well-maintained. The breakfast selection was extensive. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

GGuest UserStepping into the room, I was immediately greeted by the towering 'Huangpu River Four-Piece Set' (referring to the iconic skyscrapers) outside the window. Sitting on the sofa, the Huangpu River unfolded before me like a dynamic scroll painting. The bedding was incredibly soft and delicate; I instinctively wrapped myself tightly in the duvet. The Aesop pine-scented amenities were elegant and long-lasting, perfectly matching the Waldorf's style. The walk-in closet was well-designed and practical. I had bought some 'Ice Beauty,' 'Goddess,' 'Pink Iron Cannon,' and 'Orange Dream' flowers, and was using the room's trash can as a makeshift vase. The thoughtful Nini noticed and kindly replaced it with a beautiful glass vase. 👍 Aaron and Katrina provided meticulous and attentive service. It was a great 4-day experience. I'll definitely be back.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast selection was extensive. The hotel is conveniently located right above Bailan Plaza, offering a wide variety of dining options. It's also just a short walk down to the river, perfect for enjoying the breathtaking night views of the Huangpu River and the Bund – absolutely delightful.

GGuest UserThe front desk service was excellent, especially the two young ladies, 17 and 07, who were so helpful! This hotel is a hidden gem right by the train station, incredibly convenient for walking directly there. The room was fully equipped, clean, and had no strange odors. The price was very reasonable, offering amazing value for money. It's my top choice for an overnight stay when catching an early train. Full marks!
