I stayed at a Siheyuan (courtyard house) near Qianmen with my child and father, and it truly felt like quintessential Beijing! First off, the location is incredibly convenient. It's nestled in a hutong on Qianmen East Street, offering a quiet escape amidst the bustling city. A short walk around the corner takes you to Qianmen Pedestrian Street, and Dashilar is easily reachable on foot. Taking a taxi to Tiananmen or the Forbidden City costs just the minimum fare, which is a huge relief when traveling with elderly parents and children – no hassle at all. Secondly, the courtyard itself is absolutely charming. Stepping through the gate, you're greeted by a classic Old Beijing Siheyuan, with its grey bricks, dark tiles, and covered walkways, all centered around a large tree. In the morning, with the sun streaming into the courtyard, enjoying a bowl of congee feels incredibly leisurely. The room, though not large, is exquisitely designed, with comfortable bedding and a bathroom featuring a separate shower and toilet, complete with a smart toilet. Thirdly, the service was wonderfully attentive. The young lady at the front desk, seeing we had elderly parents and a child, proactively helped us with our luggage. Breakfast was abundant, and they even gave us a small gift when we checked out – excellent! Overall, if you want to experience an Old Beijing Siheyuan without compromising on comfort, this place is truly ideal. It's especially perfect for families traveling with parents and children, offering both charm and convenience.

Facilities: The room is spacious and well-equipped. The Panasonic high-speed hairdryer is better than the Dyson one without a pool. The air conditioner in room 1012 makes a sudden 'dong dong dong' noise after starting; it would be good to investigate the cause. Hygiene: Very satisfied. I love their body lotion. I left a message, and they sent two extra bottles the next day. Environment: It's very close to Universal Studios, just a short taxi ride away. There's a mall nearby which is great for browsing, and you can access it directly from the 3rd floor without having to go outside in the sun. Service: I mentioned it was our honeymoon, so they gave us a room on the 10th floor directly facing Universal Studios, sent us desserts, and the towels in the room were folded into swans. They found my comb while tidying the room and immediately called me. I'm very grateful! Universal Beijing Resort Shuttle Service: Didn't use it, but there are three time slots available for a free shuttle. You just need to book in advance with the front desk. Welcome Fruit: Plums, a bit sour, haha. The pool isn't big, but I had a quick swim, and the view is excellent. Overall, it's a hotel I would definitely consider revisiting.

The hotel's location is excellent, with two subway lines nearby; the closest is Line 10. Taxis are also readily available. All the staff, starting from the front desk, were warm and professional. The public facilities reminded me of international hotels, and the breakfast met expectations. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay here again next time I visit Beijing!

The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's just a few minutes' walk to the National Art Museum subway station (Line 8). Lao She's Former Residence and Wangfujing are both within a ten-minute walk. We even walked to the Forbidden City – it was quicker than taking a taxi or the subway! Even though it was hot, the breeze made it much more bearable than I expected. The staff were all very friendly, the cleanliness was good, and the facilities were decent, though the mattress was a bit too high. The pool isn't huge, but it's sufficient. Breakfast was just okay. My only real complaint was the mini wontons at breakfast. Other hotels cook them fresh, but here they seemed to be pre-cooked and then reheated, which made them a bit mushy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd probably stay here again.

Great location, free laundry, comfortable fresh room. It was quiet when I was there in July, so I had a good sleep. Stayed there on my way back home, originally intended to stay at a different hotel on Wangfujing (the one I stayed at before), but very glad I booked this hotel instead. The gym has several treadmills, it is right next to the laundry, so you can use it during the wait. The staff at the reception was friendly and professional. There's tea and yogurt served at the reception area. I really enjoyed the hotel overall. The only minor downsides were: 1) several patches of dust I found on the bed after the cleaning one day, 2) the tea supplied at the tea station was not a standard tea and had rather unusual taste (not bad, but different).

This location was ideal for my short layover. Conveniently located adjacent to Beijing Capital International Airport, it offers virtually every amenity you could imagine. The value is also excellent considering what you save by taking advantage of the complimentary airport shuttle service. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding hospitality. I ordered room service, and the food arrived hot, delicious, reasonably priced, and surprisingly high quality. Breakfast was another highlight—I highly recommend adding it to your stay, whether you dine in the restaurant or enjoy it from the comfort of your room. I especially want to recognize Deane at the guest services desk. Exceptional customer service is becoming increasingly rare, and Deane reminded me what genuine hospitality looks like. When I needed a little extra time before checking out, he patiently listened to my request, helped me work through my admittedly imperfect Chinese, and went above and beyond by arranging a special accommodation that allowed me to remain in my room beyond the standard checkout time. At no point did I feel rushed or like an inconvenience. Instead, I felt genuinely welcomed as a guest. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help transformed what could have been a stressful travel day into a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Employees like Deane are a tremendous asset to any hotel, and he deserves recognition for the positive impression he leaves on guests. This personalized level of customer care is exactly why I would recommend this hotel to anyone flying into or out of Beijing, and why I will absolutely stay here again. Between the family rooms, swimming pool, breakfast buffet, and evening dining options—including pizza, burgers, and other Western favorites—there is plenty to keep children happy while creating memorable family experiences. 10/10. Had an early flight the next day, and the airport shuttle was incredibly convenient. The shuttle bus was large and comfortable, departing every 30 minutes right on schedule. There's also a restaurant on the first floor with good simple meals. Just lower your expectations for the roast duck. The room was spacious and very clean, offering excellent value for money.

Arrived hotel very late in the night, reception lady was very helpful and patient catering to all enquirers. As I do not have a local mobile number, they were helpful to help with food ordering from their APP. Breakfast selection and ambience was quiet, clean , simple . Apartments location is also at a quiet peaceful place and best part near to city third ring road of Beijing

Our 5-night, 6-day stay at Club Med Yanqing Beijing was nothing short of magical. From the very beginning, the service was impeccable, Manager Kang went above and beyond by personally reaching out to us before we even arrived to ask about our preferences and dietary needs. His thoughtful care ensured that every detail of our stay was seamless, comfortable, and wonderfully personalized. Here’s a breakdown of our fantastic experience: 1. Facilities & Accommodation We booked two connecting rooms, and both were spacious, fully equipped, and meticulously maintained throughout our stay. The housekeeping team did a stellar job keeping everything spotless. One small but much-appreciated perk was the unlimited supply of bottled drinking water available at any time, a true lifesaver given how much energy we burned during the day's activities! 2. Dining Experience The culinary offerings were a definite highlight. We thoroughly enjoyed the lavish breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a great variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. The all-hours noodle bar was a game-changer, serving up hot dumplings, pasta, pizzas, and comforting noodle soups whenever we needed a quick bite between activities. Pro tip for families: ******* delivery doesn't reach the resort, so we’d recommend packing a few favorite snacks for the little ones just in case. That said, we never left the table hungry, overall, our dining experience was absolutely delightful. 3. Endless Activities for All Ages We were wonderfully busy every single day, thanks to the incredible range of age-appropriate activities. Our 4-year-old son was in pure heaven, spending his days exploring the vibrant kids' play areas and splashing endlessly in the swimming pools, which are wonderfully child-friendly with warm, comfortable water. Our 6-year-old daughter, on the other hand, embraced her adventurous side! She conquered the rock-climbing wall, soared with joy on the trapeze, and challenged us to lively games of outdoor table tennis and badminton. The after-dinner parties at the theatre were the cherry on top, she loved dancing on stage, joining in the quirky games, and being mesmerized by the breathtaking circus performances. A massive shout-out to the incredible G.O. team! Their boundless energy, genuine warmth, and incredible patience with the children truly made our stay extra special. 4. Exploring the Surroundings The resort’s location also offers lovely opportunities to venture out. We took the local train to explore the scenic surrounding areas and even visited a nearby vineyard to harvest fresh grapes, it was such a fun, hands-on experience for the whole family. The grapes we picked were incredibly sweet and juicy, and we also bought some excellent local wines to bring back as gifts for our relatives. Back at the resort, the outdoor activity areas, including pony rides, added even more charm and variety to our days. Final Verdict Club Med Yanqing Beijing delivered the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and top-tier hospitality. Manager Kang and his wonderful team made us feel truly valued as guests, and the sheer variety of activities kept both our kids (and us!) happily engaged from morning until night. We left with full hearts, tired legs, and beautiful memories. We are already counting down the days until we can return!

My mom and I were on a business trip and quickly booked a room at this hotel, which looked pretty unassuming, as it was the only one left. There's a Walmart nearby, and it's a short walk to the subway station. What really stood out was the security – three locks on the door from the main entrance to the room, plus a security booth at the street corner, which made us feel very safe. The lobby has vending machines for snacks and a cozy reading area. Our room was spotless, much cleaner than other chain hotels in the same price range. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the bedding was comfortable with good quality pillows. Overall, it's even better than some hotels costing over 700 a night, like the Atour. I'll definitely stay here again if I'm in the area for business.
