Urumqi Hotels with Bars

The Urumqi Intercity Hotel was our last stop on this Xinjiang trip. The location is excellent, less than a 30-minute drive to the airport, and the surrounding area is very convenient. Both the hotel lobby and the rooms are comfortable, and the service was outstanding. They welcomed us with ice cream upon arrival and even offered a late-night snack. It's suitable for both business and leisure. Five-star rating!

This trip was a self-driving tour, and our car arrived early. The hotel thoughtfully arranged parking, and the manager handled everything perfectly, which was very reassuring and kept our car from being exposed to the scorching sun! The hotel also considered families traveling with children, offering a free room upgrade and a complimentary breakfast – a very thoughtful touch! The hotel is new and very clean, and the ambient lighting is fantastic! The breakfast dining area was truly impeccable – clean and tidy. The enamel cookware, combined with the lighting, looked incredibly upscale and appetizing! And of course, the food tasted great too! A truly wonderful stay! Highly recommended! (Especially suitable for out-of-town visitors or those driving, as there are charging stations in the clean and bright underground parking lot, which is super convenient and gives you peace of mind!)

The hotel is very close to the high-speed train station. Although the area nearby is still under construction, it's not noisy. The hotel is new but doesn't have any strange odors, and the room decor is really cute. The laundry room and gym equipment are in the same space, so you can wash and dry your clothes while you work out. The staff are all great and try their best to help with anything you need. I've been to Urumqi twice, and both times I stayed at a Wanda hotel – not the exact same one, but the service has always been top-notch.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel and was very satisfied with the overall experience. The hotel’s environment, facilities, service, and cleanliness were all excellent. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Complimentary beverages were provided in the fridge, along with plenty of bottled water. The room and the bathroom were very well equipped, including a high-quality Dyson hairdryer. I had requested a room on a high floor, and the hotel made sure to accommodate my request, which I really appreciated. The check-in and check-out processes were both excellent, smooth, and efficient. The staff throughout the hotel were very helpful, considerate, and professional. I would especially like to thank the Guest Relationship Manager, Refat, who provided excellent service during my stay. He was very considerate and made sure everything went well. Thank you, Refat, for your kindness and excellent service. I would also like to mention Cathy, who left a very good impression on me. Her service was attentive and thoughtful, and she patiently answered all of my questions. She was extremely helpful and reliable throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is great, especially as it was close to the places I wanted to visit. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and felt very well taken care of. I would happily choose this hotel again for my next stay and would definitely recommend it.

This stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is convenient with easy access to transportation. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the bedding was so comfortable, I slept incredibly well. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and very responsive to all requests, even helping with recommendations for local eateries. It's excellent value for money, perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit. Highly recommended! A must-have for those who appreciate attention to detail.

This is arguably the most upscale hotel in Urumqi. First, let's talk about the downsides: there's still room for improvement in service details, but it's understandable given the peak holiday season. The positives are equally prominent: the location is excellent, with the Meimei Shopping Center right downstairs and the Urumqi Museum about a ten-minute walk away. The bedding is incredibly soft and comfortable, and the hotel's overall design is modern and very stylish. Despite minor flaws, the good far outweighs the bad, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Urumqi.

Service: For check in on trip, it says to call a day in advance. I tried this, but the person who answered couldn't speak English. It was not a problem, because I then messaged on the online chat. That was perfectly fine and they responded very quickly. I'd say if you don't speak Chinese, just message online. The front desk staff were super helpful when I was there, and quick to use a translator so we could communicate well. Amenities: I did some washing, laundry detergent cost ¥10 I think, and again the staff were very helpful, finding as many hangers as I needed to dry my clothes. Location: The environment was so peaceful, the lobby was a nice air-conditioned place to hang out. The outside grass area was so lovely, with little lavender and rose plants and chairs to sit outside. There is also a bar across the courtyard, and a coffee shop. The area is a bit far out of the city, but it is right near the metro, lots of local shops, and a mall with some big chain stores. Things to consider: I stayed in the single room attached to the women's dorm. It was so handy to have my own space for a very reasonable price. However, the single room itself does not have its own air-conditioning. The women's dorm does, so to cool the room down, I would just keep the door between open for a bit. Still, it was never as cold as the dorm room because it went up to 40°c outside when I was there, and I preferred to keep the door locked when I went out to keep my belongings safe. The single room does have a fan and a window, so you can get some airflow through there. Overall, it was fine, just be aware if you are travelling during the summer. (Also one suggestion I would have is to put a mirror in the room, so you can get ready in there). The only other issue was no soap for washing hands in the dorm bathroom, although there was shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower. Cat: The cat was so cute! 🐈

Our last night in Xinjiang was spent at the Mehao Lichi Flagship Store, and the overall experience was excellent. It's one of the most comfortable hotels I've stayed at in Urumqi. The hotel's location is quite convenient, not far from Urumqi High-Speed Rail Station, and easy to find if you're driving. Underground parking is also readily available. For those who need to catch a high-speed train or flight on their last day of a Xinjiang trip, this location is ideal. The hotel's biggest highlight is the Sky Lobby on the 38th floor. The views are expansive, and the overall design is quite stylish. From the moment you check in, you can tell it's different from a typical hotel, especially on a clear day when you can see towards the Tianshan Mountains – the scenery is beautiful. The room is spacious, well-laid out, clean, and tidy, with very comfortable bedding. After a tiring trip through Xinjiang, coming back at night to shower and rest in bed was very pleasant. The floor-to-ceiling windows are also a great bonus; they offer open views during the day and a comfortable city nightscape in the evening. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise during this stay. The variety was rich, the taste was good, and there were also Xinjiang specialty dishes, offering a great selection overall. Moreover, the breakfast hours are quite accommodating, so you don't have to wake up extra early to eat, which is very convenient for tourists. The staff's service attitude was also excellent. The front desk was efficient with check-ins, and any requests were promptly addressed. The hotel also has facilities like a gym and laundry, which are very practical for those on an extended trip through Xinjiang. Overall, whether it's the rooms, the views, the breakfast, or the location, this hotel lives up to its 'flagship store' positioning. It's especially suitable for the last night of a Xinjiang road trip or for travelers needing to catch a high-speed train or flight. The overall value for money is good, and this stay exceeded my expectations. I would consider staying here again on my next visit to Urumqi.

The room was quite spacious, and the facilities were decent. However, the showerhead was very difficult to use, with strong water pressure from the sink but very weak water from the shower, making showering quite inconvenient. The hotel is surrounded by construction sites, so there's nowhere to explore on foot. The hotel service was good; bottled water was provided promptly. The restaurant service and food taste were also excellent, with surprisingly large portions and very reasonable prices. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay at Four Points by Sheraton Urumqi.

The hotel is right next to the park, which makes it super convenient for a morning run. The complimentary swimming pool is part of a third-party gym located at the south end of the park. It's a 40-meter pool. The lanes are a bit narrower than standard, but for a free amenity, I can't complain, and it's definitely better than the typical small pools you find at most hotels. In the mornings, the park has a great jogging atmosphere, with lots of people exercising and even a breakfast market, which is quite interesting. The hotel's breakfast overall is just okay, but the beef noodles are incredibly fragrant! As you can see in the picture, three of us had five bowls – those noodles definitely get a thumbs-up!
