Urumqi Hotels with Balcony

The proprietress of this homestay is too polite. I booked the room in August. The proprietress called me 4 times. I didn’t receive it. Not only did she not refund my order because she didn’t contact me, she also booked for us a group of rooms and rushed from Urumqi to the homestay to wait for us. It's so moving! After arriving at the homestay, the proprietress said that the room can be picked by us, and it can be replaced with a larger one. Later, we felt that the original room was smaller and not so cold. The proprietress brought the local apples to invite us to eat. It was really warm! The room has a big bathtub, but because it is too cold, we did not enjoy it, a pity! 😄 In short, this homestay is worth coming again!

This guesthouse is incredibly well-maintained. As someone with a serious phobia of uncleanliness, I always worry that guesthouses, especially those decorated with lots of fabric and carpets, won't live up to the photos and reviews regarding hygiene and facilities. However, this guesthouse completely exceeded my expectations. There were no strange odors, and it was exceptionally clean. Every aspect, from the decor and service to the small details, felt incredibly warm and full of delightful surprises. I particularly appreciate the owner's thoughtful efforts. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to give a five-star review, simply because five stars is the maximum! For families or groups of friends needing multiple rooms in Urumqi, look no further than this place.

This is the best hotel I've stayed in Xinjiang. It's very clean and the overall style is quite fresh. I like the log cabin. The room is quite large, over 40 square meters. The breakfast is also delicious and varied. The room provides plenty of mineral water, and the shower has a strong water flow. If I had one suggestion, it would be that the bed is a little small, so it might be a bit cramped with children. A 2-meter bed would be better.

This hotel is truly amazing! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, and honestly, all the staff were great. I'd requested a room not too close to the elevator and not an end room, and they totally nailed it – I felt at ease the moment I walked in. The room was super clean, and the soundproofing was good too. Plus, takeout was delivered by a robot, so no need to go down and get it myself! And the breakfast was really tasty! The hotel's location is also excellent; just a short walk out and there are restaurants and shops, super convenient. My experience this time was fantastic, I'll definitely be back!

Service: For check in on trip, it says to call a day in advance. I tried this, but the person who answered couldn't speak English. It was not a problem, because I then messaged on the online chat. That was perfectly fine and they responded very quickly. I'd say if you don't speak Chinese, just message online. The front desk staff were super helpful when I was there, and quick to use a translator so we could communicate well. Amenities: I did some washing, laundry detergent cost ¥10 I think, and again the staff were very helpful, finding as many hangers as I needed to dry my clothes. Location: The environment was so peaceful, the lobby was a nice air-conditioned place to hang out. The outside grass area was so lovely, with little lavender and rose plants and chairs to sit outside. There is also a bar across the courtyard, and a coffee shop. The area is a bit far out of the city, but it is right near the metro, lots of local shops, and a mall with some big chain stores. Things to consider: I stayed in the single room attached to the women's dorm. It was so handy to have my own space for a very reasonable price. However, the single room itself does not have its own air-conditioning. The women's dorm does, so to cool the room down, I would just keep the door between open for a bit. Still, it was never as cold as the dorm room because it went up to 40°c outside when I was there, and I preferred to keep the door locked when I went out to keep my belongings safe. The single room does have a fan and a window, so you can get some airflow through there. Overall, it was fine, just be aware if you are travelling during the summer. (Also one suggestion I would have is to put a mirror in the room, so you can get ready in there). The only other issue was no soap for washing hands in the dorm bathroom, although there was shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower. Cat: The cat was so cute! 🐈

The room is very spacious, and we can put our luggage there without feeling crowded. There is also a comfortable sofa area, where we chat and eat snacks at night, which is super cozy. The bathroom has a good dry and wet separation, and the toiletries are of high quality and very comfortable to use. The hotel's sound insulation is also good. It is very quiet at night and will not be disturbed by the outside world at all. It is very convenient to eat and shop around, and you can find all kinds of delicious food within a few steps. It is also close to the subway station, making travel easy and convenient to various attractions. This time the accommodation experience at Xiyue Hotel was great. Both the service and the environment were far beyond my expectations. I will definitely choose this hotel next time I travel!

Neither good nor bad, just okay. The front desk staff on the day was quite impolite. I was a bit tired and just wanted to book a hourly room to rest for a while. Hourly rooms are usually for 4 hours. However, the staff called me directly when I hadn't even been there for 2 hours, asking if I wanted to extend my stay. Not only did it disturb my rest, but it also wasn't even close to the time to urge an extension. I told them I wouldn't be extending, and they just hung up without another word. Was that their way of kicking me out?

Linyi and Yuan Shuxin filmed the same homestay for TV dramas. The rooms are very clean and the decoration is very new. It is a smart toilet. The most important thing is that the atmosphere of the homestay is very good. You don’t have to be afraid of not having a partner. The homestay can also cook. You can also cook if you don’t cook. There is a cafe bistro in the yard. I wake up every day and have a cup of coffee to go skiing. It is very pleasant to go back to ski and have a little wine to sleep. It is very close to the snow field. The boss will drive and pick up and drop off. I want to travel around and take pictures. The boss will also send it. The boss is very good. We will play cards for a few people, not bored at all, next time we come to Xinjiang, we will still live here.

This hostel was one of the best I've ever stayed in. The receptionist was a true Xinjiang local, very honest and thoughtful. The environment was also great, perfect for a short stay. We came back to Urumqi after our trip. A lot of wonderful little things happened between me and him here. We were travel buddies, very compatible. When we first arrived, we put our stuff away and were checking in. At that moment, a girl was struggling to move a 20+ kg suitcase downstairs. He said he would go down to help her, and surprisingly, he even called out my name on his way down, saying he was going to help that girl with her luggage. My heart fluttered then, perhaps that was when I started falling for him? Later, we put our stuff away and went out for dinner. I had some fake wine that night, probably kvass 😛, and unexpectedly got drunk. I was very dizzy but still somewhat conscious. It wasn't really drunkenness, more like confusion. He said I looked uncomfortable and stayed with me downstairs for a few hours. During that time, he said I was talking and throwing tantrums. I wonder if he was scared by my foolish behavior. He occasionally stared at me, and I don't know why he even hugged me. I honestly don't remember what he said. All I remember is that his shoulders felt soft. Later, I don't know how I ended up upstairs. I vaguely remember going to the rooftop and petting a little cat there. I also sat on a chair on the rooftop for a while. He was so close to me then. That feeling was so clear, clearer than any other moment. After a while, we just went back to sleep. The next day, we both stayed at the same hostel. In the evening, after drying my hair, I sat on the rooftop, quietly enjoying the evening breeze and looking at the stars. It was really pleasant. Then he came over and sat next to me. We talked about the past, the present, and the future. Our eyes were no longer innocent. I could feel his emotions stirring, but I didn't expect him to just kiss me when I looked at him. It was so sudden. I've never been kissed like that before. It felt so strange and shy. I think the surveillance cameras probably caught that moment too. I pushed him away. I was both scared and excited, and inexperienced, so I kissed him back. I hope I didn't hurt him... Later, he came with me to Chongqing. Everything is allowed to happen. I hope we both have good endings.
