Beach Hotels in Xiamen

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! I stayed here for 3 days during my trip to Xiamen, and they upgraded us to a sea-view room. The hotel isn't located on the island, so transportation isn't the most convenient. However, compared to hotels of similar quality on the island, the price is very advantageous, making the transportation costs worthwhile. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and warm. Whenever we encountered housekeeping staff in the hallway, they always greeted us proactively. On our departure day, when they learned we were checking out and heading home, they even asked if we needed two bottles of mineral water for the road. On a daily basis, when taking a taxi, staff at the hotel entrance would always help open and close the car doors, and their attitude was excellent. On Mid-Autumn Festival, we returned to our room to find a mooncake, which was a very thoughtful touch! When they found out I wanted to take a bath, they brought me a disposable bathtub liner, and also provided disposable toilet seat covers. In short, it felt like a home away from home – a truly wonderful stay.

My stay at InterContinental Xiamen Seaview was a perfect 10/10, ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing, 'lie-flat' vacation. The room directly faced the sea, and the sunset glow streaming in created a wonderful ambiance. Both the hotel's soft and hard facilities were top-notch. Our butler, Ally, was professional and reliable, and communication was very smooth, making for a truly enjoyable travel experience.

This hotel is closest to Piano Wharf and not far from Sanqiutian Wharf. It's very close to the shore, yet tucked away in a quiet spot. On the way, you'll pass the Gulangyu Museum. My room was on the first floor and was well-decorated and very clean. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

This stay was a wonderful surprise! The hotel is in a prime location, making transportation and dining very convenient. The housekeeping staff kept the room spotless and even provided me with a clothes drying rack. The room was free of any odd smells, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing at night was great, allowing for a truly restful sleep. The staff were friendly, the check-in process was efficient, and great attention was paid to the details. It felt like a home away from home, highly recommended!

The service was excellent. Our next destination was affected by a typhoon, so we extended our stay for another day. I personally saw the cleaning staff's meticulous work; everything was very clean and tidy. For those who enjoy tea, you can proactively request extra bottles of water. The breakfast was the only one during our 10+ day trip that offered local specialty snacks, and the Satay noodles were much better than the takeout we had the night before. During the day, children can play in the water or go to the kids' club, making it very suitable for family trips.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and dining. The room was clean, odor-free, and spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding. The bathroom had great water pressure. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient with check-in and check-out, and they were quick to respond to any requests. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and my top choice for travel. Highly recommended! Plus, Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is right downstairs.

During my trip to Xiamen in November, I stayed at Swiss International Hotel and chose a sea-view room directly facing Gulangyu Island, which added a touch of tender warmth to the entire journey. The hotel service was enthusiastic, attentive, and exceptionally courteous. Opening the window revealed the vast blue sea, with Gulangyu Island standing quietly in the distance, offering charming views from dawn to dusk. By day, you can watch the sea breeze gently sweeping across the island; at night, upon returning from an evening stroll and sitting leisurely by the window, you can gaze out at the twinkling lights of Gulangyu in the nightscape. As the hustle and bustle faded away, a deep sense of peace filled the heart. The hotel breakfast was rich and palatable, and the dinner buffet was quite commendable. Boasting a prime location overlooking the island across the sea, the stay was relaxing and comfortable. Should I visit Xiamen again, I would gladly choose to stay here once more.

My kids absolutely loved it here! The hotel is very thoughtful, and the service is excellent. They even gave the little ones a small gift, along with kid-friendly amenities and a protective barrier. When we came back to the room after dinner, they brought us Tremella soup and fruit. The kids had a great time at the pool, and the beach was beautiful too. All in all, we'll definitely be back!

The location is super convenient! Right next to Zhongshan Road, within walking distance to the ferry terminal, and just a few minutes' boat ride to Gulangyu Island. The surrounding area is packed with local snacks and shopping malls, so after a tiring night of wandering around, it's just a short walk back to the hotel—pure happiness! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was quite good, offering a quiet retreat in the bustling city. The front desk staff were very friendly, and check-in and check-out were both super efficient. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Xiamen!

I've stayed here before and had a good impression, but this time it wasn't so great. The room's cleanliness was lacking; the elevator buttons on the floor were covered in dust, and I'm not sure why. The shower door also got stuck, and I almost couldn't get out, so I ended up changing rooms. Despite all that, I'm still giving a good review, as facts are facts.
