Traveling to Shanghai with a backpack? I highly recommend Captain V Hostel! It's conveniently located at the Jiangsu Road double subway hub, with direct access to the Bund and Nanjing West Road, making it easy to get anywhere. The hostel is well-ventilated, without the stuffy or strange odors often found in youth hostels, which is a big plus. The beds are fully equipped with blackout privacy curtains and large lockers, giving you a sense of personal space even in a shared dorm. The communal bathrooms are continuously cleaned, with dry floors and stable 24-hour hot water. The staff are friendly and respect guests' privacy, and they're quick to respond to any needs. The laundry and drying facilities are a lifesaver for long-term travelers. Right outside, you'll find old Shanghai streets with a variety of snack shops. Great location, solid facilities, and excellent service – a top choice for backpackers!

It's been a long time since I've stayed at such a comfortable and reasonably priced hotel. As soon as we walked in, my child said it felt very cozy. Everything was great. They gave us an aromatherapy diffuser when we checked in, and then offered us bottled water to take with us when we checked out. There's also a nice little courtyard out back, perfect for relaxing.

I initially booked a 'Quiet King Room,' but it turned out to have no windows, so I upgraded to one with a window. However, the room was exceptionally small and a bit dusty. After one night, I couldn't stand it anymore and upgraded to an Executive King Room. But there was a persistent sewer smell from the drains that even pouring mineral water down couldn't cover up – both in the toilet and under the sink, the smell lingered. I had no choice but to keep the air conditioning on constantly. The location is good, though; it's very close to the subway station, making it convenient to get to Jing'an Temple, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and Yu Garden.

This guesthouse, while not huge, has a really nice ambiance. It's located in the old town, super close to supermarkets and the metro station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The hosts were amazing too – very responsive and quick to deliver anything we needed. The service was excellent and felt really friendly. Our room was also cozy and comfortable! It's fantastic value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time. 🌟🌟🌟

The moment I opened the curtains, the entire cityscape of Shanghai and the river view unfolded before my eyes. It was so beautiful, words can't even describe it. The joy and happiness I felt in that moment really can't be fully captured by photos. Just sitting in the room, quietly gazing at the view outside, already made this trip feel incredibly worthwhile. ❤️ I especially want to thank the front desk staff! Their service was truly outstanding, so friendly and professional, and incredibly enthusiastic. She even thoughtfully upgraded our room, giving us this fantastic river view room. I have to say, this surprise really elevated the entire check-in experience to another level! A huge thank you for her attentiveness and service. Meeting such staff during a trip truly leaves a lasting and excellent impression of a hotel. Also, the hotel's rooftop is definitely a must-visit! If you're staying here, don't miss the views from the rooftop. Standing there and looking at Shanghai's cityscape and the river view, the panoramic sight is truly breathtaking. It's beautiful during the day, and when the lights come on at night, it's a completely different atmosphere. The entire splendor of Shanghai is right before your eyes; it's truly, truly gorgeous. From the room view and hotel service to the overall experience, this stay left me extremely satisfied. Especially in a city like Shanghai, being able to have such a beautiful river view room, waking up to such a scene in the morning, and enjoying Shanghai's dazzling night view in the evening, is truly blissful. If you're traveling to Shanghai, I highly recommend staying here once! Whether you're on a romantic trip, traveling with friends, or simply looking for a place to truly enjoy Shanghai's urban scenery, this place is absolutely worth it. 💕

My stay at Qilai Light Luxury Hotel was excellent, and the overall value for money was great. The front desk staff were warm and polite. Check-in and check-out procedures were simple and quick, and they patiently answered all my questions about local transportation. The service experience was truly impressive. The room was clean and tidy, with no strange odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable, allowing me to get a good rest after a busy day. The hotel's laundry service, priced at just one yuan per item, was incredibly convenient. It was great to be able to wash clothes accumulated during my travels right there, and the price was very reasonable. The parking lot at the entrance, costing 10 yuan per day, made it very convenient for those driving. The hotel's location is excellent, with numerous restaurants and convenience stores nearby, offering a wide variety of choices for dining and shopping. The in-room Wi-Fi signal was strong and stable, making streaming videos and working smoothly. The indoor facilities were well-maintained and easy to use. My entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. The attention to detail truly showed the hotel's dedication. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel, and I had no complaints at all. I've already recommended it to my travel companions, and if I come to Minhang again, this will be my top choice. I also recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation.

This is my second stay at this hotel and it continues to offer very good value for money. The location is convenient and not far from the airport. If you arrive during the day or before 11 p.m., you can take the metro from the airport at minimal cost. Late at night, a DiDi taxi usually costs around 30–40 RMB. The hotel is well suited for solo travelers, though couples may find the room slightly cramped. Since my last visit, the facilities remain largely the same, although the building is starting to show its age and could benefit from some interior renovation. The room amenities are good for the price: slippers, bathroom slippers, shampoo, dental kit, and reliable Wi-Fi. There is also a table and chair for working. Compared with some other hotels I stayed at recently in Shanghai, the room size is reasonable and allows enough space to move around. I also requested a south-facing window, and the staff kindly arranged it so I could get morning sunlight. Met up with a friend for a weekend staycation in the city, and we came to Jile Hot Springs to relax. The entire third floor is guest rooms, and business was booming, almost fully booked. After a tiring day of fun, you can head straight upstairs to rest – it was so incredibly relaxing. The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean, and they even had an air freshener. Breakfast tasted good, though the variety wasn't extensive, it was certainly filling. The staff were efficient and professional, and the front desk handled services very quickly.

This was a fantastic experience! 👍👍 This is the first time I've encountered a hotel that includes breakfast, lunch 🥣, afternoon tea, dinner, and late-night snacks—the value is simply incredible. The menu was diverse and plentiful. Breakfast featured nutritious porridge, noodles, and various side dishes; lunch and dinner had a well-balanced mix of meat and vegetables, and the food was delicious; afternoon tea offered tasty snacks, fruits, drinks, and coffee, making for a pleasant experience; and late-night snacks were warming and delicious, including fried rice, fried rice noodles, Cantonese rice noodle rolls, and hot and sour noodles. ☘️ The hotel facilities were also very thoughtful. The restaurant is located on the -1 floor, making dining convenient. Also on the -1 floor, the laundry room has washing machines with dryers, a godsend for travelers. Clothes were washed and dried quickly, without disrupting the itinerary. Of course, the service also deserves praise. Lei Lei at the front desk 😃 was warm and professional. He was incredibly efficient during check-in and check-out, and patiently answered all my questions about the hotel facilities and the surrounding area. In short, this hotel is impeccable in terms of dining, facilities, and service, and I highly recommend it! 🐾💕

The bedding was dry and soft, with no dampness or strange odors, making it incredibly comfortable to lie on.
