We brought our kids to Shanghai's various theme parks, and friends recommended the HEYITANG Hotel, which truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Huinan Metro Station and offers free shuttle buses directly to Disneyland, the Wild Animal Park, and Haichang Ocean Park. This made traveling with kids absolutely stress-free, with no need to worry about taxis. We stayed in a family room which featured a bunk bed with a slide and a kids' tent. All the smart devices in the room were easy to operate, and the room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the soundproofing was excellent. On the third floor, there's a free indoor kids' playground that our children loved visiting every day. The hotel provides a rich buffet breakfast, and they even offer thoughtful late-night snacks. Additionally, there's a self-service laundry room and complimentary foot bath tubs to help alleviate travel fatigue. The front desk staff were kind and patient, making the check-in process efficient, and they even thoughtfully gave little snacks to the children. With its comprehensive facilities, meticulous service, and excellent value for money, this hotel is our top choice for family trips. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Shanghai.

+ Room is spacious and bed is amazing. Small working table and a tatami couch area. You will be able to open your luggages and pack as there's floor space. Room is exactly how the pictures look. Simple, Muji styled. + Utilities: Toilet is amazing...! There's laundry room that you're free to use + Staffs were really friendly Note to business travellers / sharing room: Shower is glass box. While it has a curtain, it might not be comfortable to those that prefer privacy. Downside: -If you're a girl doing make up, it has no real lighting to help so you're going in blind. The room is too dim and the mirror has a downlight shining on you. -Wardrobe is tiny-it will be really troublesome if you're staying during winter. -No walkable MRT/Train station

I always book this hotel when I'm on business trips because of its convenient location in Jing'an. There's a convenience store right outside, and plenty of great restaurants nearby. A big thank you to Xiao Shang for always arranging my room service in advance! My stays are always smooth and pleasant.

We arrived a little after 3 PM on Friday and were able to check in. It was summer, so there was a bit of a wait, but it was acceptable. The parking lot is inside Binfinli, requiring passing through two gates. You can park until 2 PM on the day of check-out, and there are charging stations available. As soon as you get off the elevator on the first floor, concierge staff are waiting, and their service is excellent. Check-in at the front desk was quick. We paid extra to upgrade to a suite, and the front desk staff explained everything clearly. A special shout-out to Mia; she was very enthusiastic and made the kids feel welcome. The suite was spacious enough for three mothers and their daughters. It had a king-sized bed, a bunk bed (the bottom bunk could be pulled out), and a sofa bed. The beds were moderately firm, and the air conditioning wasn't directly blowing on us. The bathroom had a bathtub but no separate shower. The room also had a treasure chest, which, when opened, revealed LEGOs. The garden-view room offered a full view of the resort, and we could even see the drone show at night. The hotel constantly had various small activities. There was an indoor climbing area on the first floor, as well as an outdoor climbing area and an outdoor pool. In the afternoon, there were bubble activities and pool parties. The kids had so much fun they didn't even want to go to the park! You can enter the park at 8:30 AM to avoid peak crowds. There's also a LEGO store in the lobby, but it doesn't offer discounts, though it has a wide variety of merchandise. The face painting on the first floor of the hotel is valid inside the park for one free touch-up, which is great. You can choose designs with LEGO elements. It costs around 100 RMB. The Adventure Lounge on the first floor of the hotel was surprisingly good, and the ice cream sold at the entrance was also delicious, at 40 RMB per scoop. Breakfast had a wide selection, and the taste was decent. There was even a dedicated self-service area for children, although it mainly offered desserts. If you're coming to Legoland, I recommend staying for a night, especially after traveling such a long distance. Plus, the kids enjoyed it more than the hotel in Chuansha! 😂

I wasn't going to leave a review, but since the guest services team messaged me asking for one, I'll comment on a few things: 1. **View**: As one of Pudong's iconic buildings, the hotel offers excellent views. Being on a high floor, you get great panoramic views of the Bund and other Pudong buildings, especially at night – truly impressive. 2. **Service**: The concierge staff's attitude was generally quite lukewarm with every inquiry. I'm not sure why they seemed so arrogant. From storing luggage initially to borrowing an umbrella, it felt like I owed them something. Perhaps they were overwhelmed by too many guests, but it felt like customers were a constant bother and unwelcome. The front desk staff's service was similar; their attitude felt below the average standard of other high-end hotels we've stayed at. 3. **Cleanliness**: Upon entering the room, the floor wasn't very clean. I'm unsure if it had been properly cleaned. 4. **Hardware**: The overall hardware conditions were good. The elevators were fast, and both hotel and room facilities were comprehensive. 5. **Responsiveness to requests during stay**: * First, we asked for two children's bathrobes. We were told to wait a while for staff to bring them. Twenty minutes passed with no update. When we called again, they said they currently had no spare bathrobes but had forgotten to inform us, leaving us to wait a long time for nothing. * Second, we requested an extra blanket, which was delivered promptly. 6. **Dining**: The buffet on the 56th floor had a relatively rich selection of dishes. However, the service staff (both those at the food stations and those clearing tables) again had generally mediocre attitudes. 7. **Swimming Pool**: The pool isn't large, and the water was a bit cool. There weren't many tourists, so the experience was decent. The changing room's hardware was good, though it felt a bit cold. 8. **Gym**: While not very spacious, the equipment was quite comprehensive. Most of the treadmill screens displayed 'no signal.' 9. **Highlight**: The 86th-floor Jin Mao Club Chinese restaurant was excellent. The food was great; I particularly recommend the Australian crispy veal. What's more, the service staff there had an outstanding attitude. We arrived quite late, around 9 PM, due to closure at 9:15 PM. The waitress quickly offered menu suggestions and waited until we finished our meal, providing very thoughtful service. She even suggested we could turn off the lights to enjoy the night view afterward. It's a shame I don't know her name (the waitress on duty on the evening of August 9th), but I want to commend her; she was the only highlight of our entire stay. 10. **Final thoughts**: It's a bit ironic that the hotel's guest services team added me on WeChat the day before check-in, didn't send any greetings during our stay, but then suddenly messaged me before check-out, offering to draft a positive review for me to post here. So, since you asked for a review, either we don't comment, or we comment truthfully. If the stay experience had truly been great, we would, of course, give a five-star review, but I can't give five stars against my conscience :)

This stay was absolutely perfect! The hotel is in a great location, quite close to the subway station, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft. It was quiet at night, so I slept really well. Room service was prompt, and it offers excellent value for money. Definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling.

Booked this hotel through Trip.com, and it was the Toy Story Hotel at Disneyland. The location is excellent, with very convenient transportation; there's a continuous shuttle bus to the park. The hotel faces the sea, and the lobby has a strong artistic and luxurious style, really emphasizing a 'family-friendly' vibe, making you feel like you're already in the park. The hotel offers a wealth of free family and children's facilities, including a fun family space. The room layout is well-designed and cozy, immersing you in a technological fantasy world. They provided various complimentary drinks and slippers, which made my child incredibly happy – they didn't want to leave the room! The bed was very comfortable, and the bedding and linens were pristine, giving a sense of peace of mind. The front desk staff were highly professional and exceptionally service-oriented, attentive and caring like family. It was my birthday month, and they even gave me a small gift, which I deeply appreciated! Every other staff member greeted us warmly. The entire hotel staff, from top to bottom, were incredibly enthusiastic, meticulous, and thoughtful, making us feel at home and very warm. It provided the absolute best stay experience. The entire hotel was exceptionally clean, with no hidden corners, and the bathroom was super clean with excellent water pressure for a very comfortable shower. Check-out was simple and quick, with no need to wait for room inspection. WiFi coverage was seamless throughout the hotel. Breakfast was incredibly rich with delicious food, making it a top choice for a family vacation with kids. I'll definitely stay here again next time and highly recommend it to friends.

Because the king room I originally booked was full, the hotel upgraded me directly to a private hot spring room, which was fantastic. The private hot spring room is on the first floor, and the private hot spring is in a small garden outside the room. There's also a roof over the hot spring, so you can enjoy the starry sky without worrying about rain. Parking at the hotel is also very convenient, with plenty of spaces nearby, and it's free for guests.

The rooms are nice, the service is warm and friendly, and the location is convenient. It's quiet and comfortable, suitable for solo travelers and business stays. It's affordable, offers diverse room types, and even has a garden. A really good hotel overall.
