Edinburgh Hotels with Gym

The service was truly exceptional. My first stay was in Manchester, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was fantastic. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed it. So, when we saw that this apartment was available in Edinburgh as well, we didn’t hesitate to book it.🤩The Edinburgh Castle can be seen from the hotel’s entrance, and the street scene next to the hotel is also quite beautiful.

The room isn't very big, and the location is a bit far from Edinburgh Waverley Station. It's a bit of a walk with luggage, but still acceptable. It's not far from the bus station, which is convenient for taking day tour buses. The service was good; they proactively arranged two room changes for us. The pillows weren't comfortable, so I slept a bit restlessly. Overall, it's still pretty good.

I visited Edinburgh over Easter, which was also my birthday, and had a wonderful stay. Magda was incredibly kind and arranged an early check-in before noon after I confirmed the day before. She also surprised me with balloons and chocolates in my room for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. The staff provided clear information and gave excellent recommendations on places to visit, making my first trip to Edinburgh even more enjoyable. The hotel’s central location was perfect, close to all the main attractions, and the pool was a great bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily visit again.

This Edinburgh hotel's location is truly spot-on. The street it's on is very quiet, ensuring a completely undisturbed night's rest and excellent sleep quality. You only have to walk one street over to reach a lively, bustling area, with key attractions like Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle not far away. Being able to return to a peaceful accommodation after an evening drink and dinner, blending both lively and tranquil experiences, is a huge plus. The decor is youthful and modern, the facilities are clean and up-to-date, and the service is excellent. The self check-in kiosk is a unique feature; once you get the hang of it, it's very efficient, making the overall check-in experience quite comfortable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm in Edinburgh city center!

Extended my stay for a third night, and overall it was great. The only downside was the lack of a fridge. The location is super convenient with bus routes 1, 34, and 35 right outside, getting you to all the city's main attractions. When I was tired from sightseeing, I'd just hop on a bus and it would drop me right at the hotel entrance. Breakfast was decent; it's what you'd expect to eat abroad.

This might be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff at reception were incredibly helpful. Our room was very large and had recently been renovated. Has plenty of windows, beds were very comfortable.We had a little kitchen and a dining table as well. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Because it's near the university, there are plenty of options for eating out. Despite having over 100 rooms, we never felt like the hotel was crowded. This would definitely be my next hotel if I go back.

Fairly average hotel. Not worth the prices they charge. Emailed reception 3 times before arrival, not one reply. Room was nice and modern. Bed was comfy and shower was strong. Windows were only single glazed and looked over the train station which meant it was noisy even through the night. The executive lounge isnt really an executive lounge. Its just the breakfast room. Offering was fairly basic. Coffee machine didnt work much during our stay. On the lower ground floor so no windows. The old lounge upstairs was much better. Clearly cutting back on what they offer to save money. Breakfast was clearly designed for the American market. Crispy streaky bacon etc. Not what you normally get in the UK. Not the worst breakfast we've had but certainly not up to Hilton standard. Again, coffee machines not switched on so only standard coffee and tea was available, no cappuccino etc. Wouldn't stay here again. There are many hotels in Edinburgh that offer much better value for the price charged.

The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom facilities were good. However, it was located in the annex building, while the main building offered balconies. We received a discount, but the £20 breakfast wasn't a buffet; it was à la carte. The view outside the restaurant was nice.

Overall, the stay was acceptable. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the staff's attitude was good. This hotel hosts many tour groups, so during peak hours, the shortcomings are quite noticeable. There were long queues for check-in and check-out, and for check-out, you can't just drop off your room card and leave. The breakfast restaurant was also extremely crowded, which affected the dining experience. Other than that, there were no significant complaints; the facilities were reliable and steady. It's perfectly acceptable as a transit accommodation.

It was pretty easy to get to the hotel, a direct bus from the airport and an interesting walk through the city. While the bed was a little smaller than expected, it was very comfortable. No complaints really.
