JOY 124 Hotel Milano is a newly opened hotel, and it shows — everything was exceptionally clean and modern. The interior design is sleek, and the breakfast buffet, priced at €25, was impressive and satisfying. The front desk staff were also friendly and professional, adding to a pleasant check-in experience.
However, one thing to keep in mind is the location. It’s a bit far from Milano Centrale Station, and there’s no nearby metro access, which may be inconvenient if you have luggage or if the weather isn’t ideal. Dining options around the hotel are limited and mostly casual, but there's a Carrefour Express nearby, which was helpful.
Overall, this hotel is a great choice for those seeking a stylish, comfortable stay — just make sure to plan ahead for transportation."

"Very clean hotel. Rooms were clean and fresh. Comfortable mattress. Kind and friendly reception staff (beside departure day). Good location - close proximity to metro line 5. Cons: for the first night I have got smaller room than I booked, there was no heating working - temperature dropped to 17,5 Celsius in the room. I reported that to the reception and the only thing they could do that night was to give me blanket. Next day reception staff changed my room to the standard I booked (double bed) and with heating working. Sink was clogged and doors didn’t close - it was necessary to push them strong. Hotel haven’t proposed me any discount or complimentary service instead of that 12 pm (sharp) got phone call from reception to vacant the room (first time in my life I had sth. like that) - despite the fact a day before reception staff told me I can stay until 13… No complimentary water, coffee or slippers. I don’t have big expectations and usually make some concessions but that time I am rather disappointed."

The amenities of the hotel are not much, better bring your own shampoo and conditioner since they give you a one bottle with both and a small bar of soap and that’s it."

"We planned this trip on the basis we weren’t going to stay in the hotel much and this was perfect!
It was located right next to the Metro and about a 3min walk from the closest Tram stop. So was super easy to get into central Milan
Also located right by Chinatown which was amazing during the evening.
The staff were all friendly and we were greeted very nicely on arrival and every time we came back in. They also helped us by letting us know about the metro station location and the ticket we should buy to get us around for the 3 days we were there.
It was clean and the cleaning staff were around for extra supplies if needed. We only had one pillow each, requested extra pillows and they were there within the next 15mins.
They had a snack bar and drink fridge downstairs that had a nice selection, especially for some midnight snacks.
The room was very basic, but was just what we needed. There was one downfall, there was only one plug socket in the room and then another in the bathroom. So when putting our phones on charge at night one of us has to leave the phone in the bathroom which wasn’t very ideal or hygienic."

"We just stay for 1 night, not expect too much but there is like…nothing inside this room. A thin mattress, 2 super thin pillows, no water, no slippers, a bathroom with no glasses and quite slippery to use. Not worth the price :("

"Christian and the other ladies were very welcoming, and the decor was very Italian and beautiful! It's a bit like a B&B, though. There are only two bathrooms, so you have to wait during peak hours. The elevator outside is very classic, but I wasn't sure how to get in. The other travelers I met were also very cool. It's one of my best memories of Milan."

"The hostel is located 8 minutes walk from Milano Bovisa Politecnico train station. Direct train to and from Malpensa Airport T2 just takes 30 minutes. As far as getting around the city of Milano, there is a Tram-Bus stop (Bausan) just under 5 minutes walk from hostel (after the round about).
The 4 bedded sharing room comes with en-suite bathroom with timed hot showers. Bath towel available for rent at 2€. Hostel-wide WiFi access available. The in-house bar-bistro offers good selection of Italian and international fairs. For weary travellers the in-house dinning option is most appreciated.

LLenaKasselThis was just an amazing hotel! We were incredibly pleased! The case when we liked everything! The food in the restaurant was delicious, the rooms were beautifully decorated. Everything was clean, fresh and new! What was especially pleasing: shampoo, shower gel, body cream, soap were organically certified (Cosmos Organic), and in our time it is especially valuable to find cosmetics in hotels without aggressive additives, this is very captivating. We didn't even have to get out our jars of cosmetics. I wish this hotel further prosperity!

GGoh Wee SiongAmazing location — just a few minutes’ walk to the Duomo and metro station. The staff were super friendly, cheerful, and always ready to help. The atmosphere was lively and social, with free welcome drinks, shared dinners, and plenty of opportunities to meet other travelers. The common areas and rooftop terrace were cozy and fun, and breakfast was great too!
The room had a slight musty smell and the air circulation wasn’t very good, so it felt a bit stuffy at times. However, everything else was great and the staff made the stay enjoyable.

GGuest UserAndrea, the PR manager, is definitely the best I met in Milan, Bologna and Parma. He is extremely helpful with excellent hospitality. Thanks to him for avoiding the traffic congestion due to a concert at Duomo and arrange for us a direct transportation to airport at a reasonable price. Andrea is definitely a good reason for us to come back to Milano more often and stay in this hotel.

On a positive note, we loved this hotel, great location, modern, clean room with good amenities. What fails the hotel is their female receptionists. We came into contact with two of them, both were miserable looking, unfriendly, gave wrong information and set all the wrong time for this great hotel. Well done to trip.com too for offering such a good rate on this booking.

We especially appreciated that a lunch package was prepared for us at departure, since we couldn’t have breakfast on-site due to time constraints. We felt completely comfortable and very well taken care of throughout our stay. A small suggestion for improvement: Unfortunately, there is no convenient place to store personal items or to hang a jacket.
