"This was my first stay here, and the only real issue was that the location is a bit far from the station. The staff were very kind. The only other minor thing was that some fellow guests were a little noisy, but nothing too bothersome. As I'm sensitive to smells, I really appreciated the air purifier and the coin laundry. The complimentary coffee and donuts in the morning were delicious. I'd like to try the cafe on the first floor next time. While some reviews have lower ratings, I think it really depends on the staff and guests present at the time."

"This hostel boasts an excellent location. What truly sets it apart is the impeccable cleanliness, great service, and comprehensive facilities. Essentials like shampoo, mirrors, lighting, hair dryers, tissues, and towels are all provided free of charge, unlike some hostels that nickel and dime you. The hygiene is meticulously maintained; you even have to take off your shoes upon entering, which keeps everything spotless. The entire check-in and check-out process is self-service – just scan your passport at the machine. It's perfect for introverts, as you don't need to interact with anyone."
Set in Tokyo's Toshima Ward, The underz suite residence Ikebukuro is positioned to meet the needs of those traveling for fun or business.
"Shortly after booking, I received an email from the host inquiring about my arrival time. They provided check-in information the day before, which was very convenient and comprehensive. The location is a short walk from Ikebukuro Station; it's just a short walk through the shopping street and passes Chiikawa Park, which I always enjoy passing by.
The room has two floors. The bedroom is directly opposite the entrance; although small, it's just right for sleeping. Downstairs are the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. I really liked the bathroom; it has a separate shower and toilet area and a drying function, so the whole space wasn't too damp. The kitchen is good for simple cooking, and the refrigerator is large, which helped store our groceries.
I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Tokyo."

"I like that the private capsule is enough for me to put my lugagge. The showers and toilets r also very clean. I didn't have issue sharing as I woke up early and showered before 9am. I also like the warm blanket topper.
Only issue is the inconsiderate people packing their luggage and making loud noises after 10pm. I think the hostel should further enforce the quiet times, and fine people who break the rules.
Note that they will only make your room if you stay for a week. Only 1 towel will be given, and 200yen for extra towel."

"I stayed for a few days and felt very comfortable; this hostel is pretty great overall. They have a buffet, so food is very convenient. The staff are all very friendly and patient when you have questions. Downstairs, there's a coffee shop and a water dispenser, which makes daily life very easy. The room was clean and tidy, and didn't feel cramped at all. I stayed in a six-person room, but there were only four of us, so there was plenty of space. The window faced the street, and the view was decent. Overall, it was a very reassuring stay."

"The apartment is about 10 minutes walk from Kamata Station West Exit. There are many shops and restaurant along the way. You can find many Izakaya, foreign restaurants, Donki, Yoshinoya, and more. There is a Family Mart one unit beside the apartment. There are many shopping streets nearby too.
Unfortunately, there is no lift on the premise. We stayed at the 4th floor and the stairs are very narrow. It's an nightmare if you bring large luggage or shop a lot.
All the kitchenware is available including dish washer. But there is no kitchen towel, so you have to dry up your items with tissue.
Towels also provided and you can wash it with the in house washing machine. There is no extra towels provided to dry up your feet in the washroom, so you may wet the floor after bath."

"From the tram station, we walked through a quiet residential area. It was not too far, but Google navigation was not very accurate. It was a house with local characteristics and affordable. Because it was a wooden house, the sound insulation was not very good, but everyone was relatively quiet at night."
