It never felt crowded, and the serene ambiance added to the luxury of the place. Above all, the staff made our stay truly memorable. Every member was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely cared about our comfort. The manager stood out for their professionalism and warm hospitality, always available to answer questions or offer local tips, making us feel valued and at home. "The location is absolutely fantastic, and being able to order breakfast is a huge plus, especially for those who struggle with choices. The on-site Chinese restaurant also serves really good food. Just a heads-up, the hotel lobby is on the third floor. While you can access it from Tower 3 of the Financial Center, there's a direct driveway right in front of the building that leads straight to the lobby. We noticed some ride-share drivers weren't aware of this, perhaps due to my own pin. If you encounter the same situation, this tip might be helpful!"

"My stay at The St. Regis Chengdu was a fantastic experience. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the St. Regis Suite. The suite was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable…a true home away from home. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a great variety of quality options. The highlight for me was the dinner seafood buffet, the spread was really impressive and the addition of hotpot made it even more special. Absolutely delicious. Service throughout the hotel was outstanding. From the warm welcome at check-in to the seamless check-out, every staff member we encountered was attentive and professional. Gym team who took the time to walk us through the facilities personally was a small gesture that made a big difference. Highly recommend The St. Regis Chengdu for anyone looking for luxury, comfort and genuine hospitality."

"This is the second hotel I've stayed at in Chengdu, and it was absolutely worth it, truly excellent. Everything from the location, dining, rooms, and service attitude to efficiency was top-notch. I especially want to thank Miss Olio; knowing we were foreigners unfamiliar with the area, she thoughtfully guided us on where to go and checked in with us daily to see how our stay was and if we needed anything. Thanks to Olio and the other staff at The Temple House, our days in Chengdu felt just like being at home. This trip was to celebrate a birthday, and the hotel specially arranged a cake in our room, which was a very kind gesture. Upon arrival, the Concierge Team efficiently helped us with all our luggage. Check-in was also quick, and a hotel employee escorted us to our room, briefly explaining its features. Some might say the price is a bit high, but I believe it's absolutely worth it given the excellent service and overall experience. The only minor point that might need improvement is that sometimes, certain staff in the lobby or by the entrance don't greet guests and just stand around. This is something that could be refined."

"Location: The hotel is near Sunac Land, with moderate distance to major attractions, especially very close to Panda Valley, just a 10-minute taxi ride away. Environment: A garden-style hotel where mountain and lake views complement each other, with the serene sound of birdsong. The artificial lake has black swans, and in spring, you can see adult swans with their cygnets. Facilities: The resort grounds are extensive, and the public areas are spacious. The lobby's design is very impressive, and the welcome scent is particularly pleasant. The privacy is excellent; even when fully booked during the May Day holiday, we rarely encountered other guests on the grounds. The rooms primarily feature hot springs, each with a private hot spring tub, cleaned and refilled daily for each guest. The only minor drawback is that the breakfast quality falls short, especially the Western pastries, which don't quite match the overall high standard. Service: Butler service is provided. The butler contacts guests in advance to send relevant information and注意事项. Our butler, Lori, handled the service perfectly – attentive and thorough, resolving issues without being intrusive. Highly recommend and praise her. Overall: Very suitable for a vacation, perfect for couples, families with children, or anyone seeking a relaxing getaway."

From the moment we arrived, the ”Whatever/Whenever” philosophy was on full display. The Welcome Experience A huge shoutout to Dylan at the reception! He gave us a fantastic introduction to the property and kicked our trip off on a high note by upgrading us to a room on the 20th floor. His warm welcome and professional energy set the tone for the entire week. The Room The room was a sanctuary. Despite facing a busy street, the soundproofing was incredible—it was super quiet and peaceful. • The Sleep: The bed, pillows, and linens were top-tier. I haven't slept that well in a long time. • The Vibe: Modern, clean, and perfectly equipped. Wellness & Amenities As someone who prioritizes fitness while traveling, I was thoroughly impressed by the gym, swimming pool, and sauna. Everything is state-of-the-art. One small suggestion: The sauna experience would be even more relaxing if the lighting could be dimmed slightly to create a more ”zen” atmosphere. Dining Don’t miss the lunch buffet on the 3rd floor. The food quality was outstanding, but the decor and the view really steal the show. It’s a feast for the eyes as much as the palate! Bottom line: We are already looking forward to our next trip to Chengdu—we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. See you again soon, W! "The hotel is one of the most posh hotel we had ever stayed. The service is tip top. Anything that we need help, we just need to wechat and the service crew will response within 5mins. The view is awesome and please utilities the facilities. It has a full packed of jacuzzi, cold bath, steam, sauna and make up room. Ambience is tip top almost like a palace. The hotel rooms are huge and bed is superb. At night, we get to enjoy the nightscape of the city. Getting around is almost instant with just 5secs of booking a cab using their didi. The hotel is located directly beside a mall and we can get instant supplies of food/snacks/drinks. The best service was that we left our tablet in the hotel and the service crew constantly update and help us to find ways to deliver them to us. Even after we checkout! That is tip top service. I will wish to give them a 10stars if there's a chance. I only uploaded views from our rooms as didn't manage to take photos of the interior."

Nestled right beside the thousand-year-old Longxing Temple, I could gaze upon the majestic silhouette of the Sarira Pagoda from my window. In the mornings, I'd wake to the gentle tolling of the temple bells, and in the evenings, be lulled by the faint sound of evening drums. The temple's serenity and peacefulness seamlessly blended into my daily routine. The moment I entered the hotel, I was struck by the beautifully arranged West Sichuan-style courtyard with its grey tiles and white walls. The dry landscape garden, with its elegant and ethereal design, featured white sand representing water, dotted with artfully placed rocks creating a mountain-like ambiance. Small novice monk statues sat amidst it all, and as the light shifted, time itself seemed to slow down. What surprised me most was the rich 'Ethereal One-Day Zen' experience. In the morning, I practiced the Eight-Section Brocade with a master, stretching both body and mind. In the afternoon, I copied the Heart Sutra in the tea room, the scent of ink dispelling any stray thoughts. I also had the chance to experience Song-style incense burning and make my own incense tablets, guided patiently by professional teachers – a truly immersive and ritualistic experience. The wooden-themed guest rooms were cozy and elegant, with soft, skin-friendly linen bedding and a subtle scent of sandalwood, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The service was incredibly warm and attentive. Staff member Longxi was enthusiastic and thoughtful, providing detailed guidance from check-in to recommendations for local attractions. Every detail showed genuine care. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including comforting and delicious Pengzhou-style noodles, alongside both Chinese and Western options to suit all preferences. This place is an oasis of calm amidst the bustle, offering both the tranquil Zen atmosphere of an ancient temple and the convenience of local life. It's the perfect sanctuary to escape the everyday hustle and find inner peace. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a quiet retreat.
