Mountain View Hotels in Los Angeles

We had a great stay! The hotel offers excellent service, and the valet parking was very convenient. The location is perfect, with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was spotless, and the shower had strong water pressure with hot water that came on quickly. Highly recommend! The only minor issue was the TV. It didn’t offer many entertainment options, and it wasn’t possible to watch YouTube or Netflix.

The room was clean and tidy, and they offered valet parking. It's located across from a park, which is a nice setting. Arcadia Mall is just a few minutes' drive away, making dining and shopping very convenient. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, right across from The Grove shopping center and The Farmer’s Market. Parking costs $45, so it's best to park there and then cross the street to shop and eat, otherwise parking on the other side will cost several tens of dollars more. This boutique hotel is a converted old building; it's small, cute, and unique, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely lobby courtyard and a swimming pool. Breakfast isn't included, but around 10 am you can have brunch at the coffee shop downstairs and nearby restaurants. A five-minute walk will take you to Trader Joe's to buy some snacks and souvenirs.

Disappointing stay - great staff, but the room was a letdown.  While the lobby and valet staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rest of the experience was far from satisfactory. Throughout my stay, the main elevators were rarely functional, forcing us to use a smelly service elevator on multiple days. The room itself was poorly designed and maintained. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, and the layout made it impossible to watch TV from the bed. Lighting was dim, and the lack of a vanity - combined with a bathroom mirror that had poor lighting - made getting ready very difficult. To make matters worse, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, as we found hair from previous guests around the tub. Additionally, the tub lacked a handrail, making it difficult to get in and out safely.  Lastly, despite booking a breakfast-inclusive rate, we were still charged an 18% tax. Honestly, we would have been better off going to McDonald’s. Despite the great service from the staff, the facility issues mean I wouldn’t stay here again, even for free.

we stayed five nights to be close to oxy. generally the location and facility felt quite safe and convenient to both oxy and nearby glendale americana.  parking was always available on-site when we needed it. we had minimal interaction with the staff (checkin/checkout was easy polite and efficient). the room was quiet, private, and reasonably clean (not super new or fancy but no complaints), the ac was functional and kept us at comfortable temp throughout.  some of the electrical outlets need maintenance and required some fidgeting to get power flowing just right but this was very minor.  we would stay here again for sure; good value overall.

Deco is a bit dated, room ceilings looking industrial / unfinished. They made a mistake by not assigning us a Hollywood sign room and we had to complain to have this sorted, could have been easily missed if we forgot to say anything. Also the package receiving / handling process is messy with no proper system of tracking, I spent 30 mins checking at front desk when the receptionist insisted that DHL has not delivered it yet whilst I showed them on my app it had delivery confirmation, he then further asked me to show him who signed for it, and of course everything is done these days and would not have these signatures. Anyway when I got back into the room and I found the package already in the room, so much for their signing / tracking system (which is non-existent), complete utter mess!

The room was clean and tidy, with new facilities. The service was excellent, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with printing documents. The restaurant food was healthy and delicious, and parking was convenient with self-parking available.

This hotel was everything I expected! It's on par with the star-rated Hyatt hotels in China. Many brand-name hotels in the US have mediocre facilities and service, but in China, they're transformed into luxurious five-star hotels with unparalleled splendor. When I first arrived in the US, I had high expectations for hotels of the same brand, so it's inevitable that there's a slight disappointment. However, the Hyatt is first-rate! At check-in, we were greeted with a welcome champagne and complimentary drinks, available at the first-floor restaurant and rooftop bar. The hotel's design, decor, and dining experience exceeded my expectations! Breakfast was served in the rooftop open-air restaurant. The weather was beautiful and sunny when we checked in, and we could see the Hollywood sign in the distance. It was incredibly relaxing, giving us a truly relaxing, vacation-like feel. The king room we booked surprisingly came with a patio with furnished sofa chairs, perfect for enjoying a drink and chatting with family. From check-in to departure, the hotel staff provided a warm welcome every moment. The only downside is that the bustling West Hollywood district is just outside, and you could still hear the clamor of various parties outside until midnight, only settling down later in the evening. But no hotel is perfect. The hotel's strengths outweighed its weaknesses, and the noise wasn't the hotel's fault. I would choose this hotel again.

The room was great, clean, spacious and really comfortable. There was a fridge and a floor length mirror. There was a bar of soap but no body wash provided which would have been nice. We had lovely views even without the ”full ocean view”. The hotel is right on the beach and has a couple of awesome options for food and drinks nearby. The area felt very safe at night and all the staff were very friendly. Check in was a little slow and the lift is a little slow but overall we had an excellent stay and would come here again.

The facilities in the room were a bit old, but it was still very clean. The service was good, and it would be even better if there were more vegetables for breakfast. It offers good value for money, and I would recommend it to my friends.
