"Traveling to Penglai with a friend, and our stay was a five-star experience! The hotel is conveniently located right by the sea. The room was clean and tidy, and they even offered both firm and soft pillows, ensuring a great night's sleep. Breakfast was plentiful, featuring freshly ground coffee beans like those at Luckin Coffee and special double-yolk eggs. During the hot summer, the hotel lobby provided free cold drinks for guests. There were also complimentary laundry facilities and a gym on the second floor. The staff were warm and attentive. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Penglai."

"Free laundry service! At this price point, that's amazing! The location is super convenient. After a long day out in the heat, coming back tired, it's great to have a hot shower available 24/7. The facilities are really comprehensive, everything you need is there. The room was spotless, with everything neatly arranged. If you need anything, they'll bring it to your room; it really feels like the staff are always on hand! Their service attitude is genuinely much better than many other hotels. I had a really comfortable stay. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby, whether you want a snack or a restaurant meal, it's all affordable and the food is great value. Highly recommend!"

"Overall, I was quite satisfied. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the high-speed train station, and close to several good attractions in the city center, making transportation very convenient. Although some hotel facilities weren't as good as I'd imagined and were a bit lacking, such as the lobby not being grand enough and the gym being small, the front desk service was still very good. They demonstrated a strong sense of customer service and proactively helped guests resolve issues. I hope the hotel continues to strive for improvement, enhance its overall management, and provide even better service to guests. "This place is super close to the beach (great for tidal flat exploring), Chaoyang Street, Yantai Mountain, and Suochengli. The location is convenient, facilities are complete, and it's very clean. If you have trouble sleeping, you definitely need to book this place! I slept incredibly well both nights – it's pitch black in the room. Even though it was peak season and the hotel was busy, it was quiet inside the room with excellent soundproofing. My kids had a fantastic time too!"

"It was just past 5 AM, and the alarm hadn't even gone off yet, but the first hints of dawn woke me up. My room was on the 58th floor of the tallest building in Yantai, the Shimao, offering an unobstructed view. The entire Yellow Sea gradually transformed from deep indigo to a lighter blue. The sunrise was absolutely breathtaking: first, a touch of orange-pink crept above the horizon, then the sun, like a salted egg yolk, slowly peeked out. In an instant, golden light spread across the sea. I watched the entire magnificent sea sunrise right from my bed, with the winding滨海 Road and fine golden sands below, and the silhouette of Kongtong Island in the distance, edged with gold by the morning light. I couldn't tear myself away from that window. If you're ever in Yantai, you absolutely must stay here—the romance of being illuminated by the first rays of morning sun along with the sea is something you truly understand only after experiencing it."

This time, I randomly booked the Lanyu Hotel next to the train station, and my stay far exceeded my expectations. I honestly recommend it to anyone in transit, catching a train, or on a short trip! No need to brave the elements with your luggage after getting off the train, and no traffic jams either. You won't have to rush for an early train, and you can even sleep in and still make it to the station comfortably. For travelers, this location is truly unbeatable. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it super easy to grab food and essentials. All your travel needs are taken care of in one spot. Next, the room's cleanliness was impeccable. There were none of the usual issues with dirt, mess, or strange odors that you often find in hotels near train stations. The room was spotless, with no stains on the floor. The sheets and duvet covers were changed for every guest and felt dry and soft to the touch. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the vanity, mirror, and toilet were all thoroughly cleaned, free of water stains and grime. The toiletries were well-stocked, making for a truly reassuring stay. The service was also exceptionally warm. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, and check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, with no waiting. They helped store my luggage and patiently answered my questions about directions and train schedules without any perfunctory responses. The service was thoughtful and down-to-earth, without being overly enthusiastic, which made for a perfectly comfortable stay. The biggest surprise was the hotel's excellent soundproofing. I was initially worried about train noise and street sounds due to its proximity to the station, but once the windows were closed, the room was incredibly quiet. My sleep wasn't disturbed by external noise at all. The air conditioning worked well for both cooling and heating, the lighting was soft, and the bed had just the right firmness. After a long day of traveling, I was able to get a peaceful night's sleep. The value for money is outstanding in the train station area. The prices are fair and reasonable, without the inflated rates you often see in hotels around stations. It's perfect for single travelers in transit, business temporary stays, or short trips. The next time I need to catch a train here, Lanyu Hotel will still be my top choice. I truly recommend everyone stay here!"

"The room was clean and the facilities were new. Parking was convenient, and breakfast was rich and varied! I especially loved Atour's coffee and soy milk. For breakfast, they had Yantai braised mung bean jelly and super large mackerel dumplings. The dumplings were so fresh and juicy, truly delicious! The service was also very thoughtful!"
