Makati Hotels with Balcony

"I booked it for my NCLEX and it is the perfect location for me. It was a short walk going to Trident Tower. Below the condo units it has supermarket, 7 11, mall, variety of restaurants that offers great food, Daiso, salons, and such! I ate sushi with an affordable price, ate pani puri that was delicious, they had pop up market during the weekend, ate healthy broccoli and mushroom stir fry with a tasty fermented mango juice, and some desserts. I really liked my stay there, no issues. They also have pool (lap and leisure), billiard, gym, walking/jogging area, and other amenities that we haven't been to actually. Also very nice lobby, connected to the Air Mall. About the unit, great unit with great bed and pillow. Good aircon, no issues. Love that there are desk, table, couch, kitchen sink, stove, microwave, washing machine, heated shower, tv with Netflix & YouTube, pullout bed, and cabinets. Very much will recommend to my friends and family. I might come back to one of Gemstones' units! Very good! Also affordable pricing compared to other Airbnb and hotels. I prefer this over the one that is well-known and also the closest stay for NCLEX takers, iykyk. Btw I dont have pics or vids of the unit butmit is what you see on their posts."

"The room was clean and tidy, and it was very quiet at night. It was a bit inconvenient that bottled water wasn't provided in the room. There's a jellyfish bar and a smoking area on the rooftop, which is lovely for a drink and some fresh air in the evening. Plus, there's a Lanzhou La Mian noodle restaurant downstairs, so grabbing a bite to eat is easy."

"The place was clean and smells good. The city view was fantastic especially at night. The location is perfect for those people who have business at trident tower, it is just a walking distance and the path is so easy to locate. Thank you GemstoneBR"

"We booked late night- last minute. We got 2 deluxe room for 4 adult, 4 kids, and 1 baby. Our room is a connecting room- as you open your room you would already see the double bed with the sink and small ref, tv, and there is another room inside with its own door for privacy, bed and cabinet only with balcony (no smoking in the building). What i like about this place: -AC functioning well -There is hot and cold water for the shower -A electric kettle (with 2 small summit mineral water bottle, coffee, creamer, white sugar) -tv but didn't have the time to use it -Towel, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, shampoo and conditioner, disposable slippers -Locker -The front desk got some food to sell -Staff were accomodating -Seems safe (lock and cctv) -Easy booking (1k deposit onsite/refundable) What i didnt like: -a little bit far to lively spots of the city -open parking, side of the building"

"Front desk was good. The pool was okay, and I booked a total of 3 rooms, so we were given connecting rooms which was great! We also got a free upgrade on one of the other rooms, so it was a nice addition. The hotel is in the middle of makati and is near to a lot of attractions and restaurants in the area. A convenient place to stay that isnt too near to the crowded malls but not too far to reach them."

"The location is excellent, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It's also within walking distance of two large parks. There's even a Spanish restaurant just downstairs. The hotel has a balcony, which is very comfortable to sit on. The room itself is spacious. I was given a room on the 8th floor, which was great. However, this room had two issues. First, the gap under the door was too large, letting in light at night and noise in the morning. Second, the refrigerator in the room was extremely noisy, making a creaking sound. At first, I thought it was mice, but then I realized the refrigerator's motor was causing various parts to rattle. Service: Overall, the service was good, but being rushed to check out at 10 AM was a bit annoying. Check-out is usually at 12 PM, and most hotels give a reminder around 11:30 AM, so yours was a bit too early."

"I have travelled a fair bit and feel that I have a good handle how things are. This hotel has Best Western as part of the name so I expected a certain level. I could see that the hotel was probably a higher end hotel, the lobby showed high end finishes and this was probably a 200+ room hotel when built. It has suffered a fair bit of age related issues and the room finishes are quite tired. I noticed on floor 9, 3 rooms together had obviously been flooded and not repaired. The smell of damaged materials was quite strong (lower parts of the doors were heavily water damaged and there were towels damming the thresholds). My room on a different floor was fine but I did have multiple legged friends in my room and the sheets were grey from multiple washings and lastly, the area is the seamy side of Makati (Manila) and is not the best. Okay, that is the list of cons, now for the pros, price was very reasonable, the staff was good in any interactions I had and if you want the seamy side, the location....is excellent. There are lots of bars nearby and multiple actually quite good restaurants including directly across the street, The Filling Station, a throwback to the 1950s us type Diner. Lots of fun and the food is quite good. I will mention that the gym is quite good and I did use it. The gym Airton has apparently had the refrigerant leaked off so it doesn't work. I was told a lot of the rooms have been sold as condos so I found the hotel to be quiet, good amenities for a good price but it is tired. Overall I'm going to rate this a high three star hotel because you kind of get something a little bit more for quite a reasonable price so it is a bargain and is not the slum that other cheap hotels often are. Yes, I would definitely stay again."
