Makati Hotels with Pools

Exceeded expectations! This is by far one of the best value-for-money hotels in Manila. The overall cleanliness was superb, facilities were excellent, and the decor was uniquely stylish and elegant—much better than what you'd find in the BGC area!

We arrived earlier than expected so we weren't sure if we could check in yet but we were able to do early check-in which was awesome. We stayed from July 19 to July 23 of 2026 They prepared a small amentity cake for us when they were informed we were traveling to celebrate us. At the front desk, everyone greeted us warmly and helped us a lot throughout our stay. Concierge left us a little confused because they struggled to answer back in English and gave us the wrong information on where to buy sim cards. We had the breakfast package for two. You were given meal cards that you had to present when you went to eat breakfast. Once you do, the lovely servers would guide you to a table and asked if you would like any coffee or tea. They would walk around and clear any empty plates to make sure you don't feel crowded at the table. We ordered drinks at the pool bar and the bartender was lovely to talk to. Despite it being just us there he welcomed us to the hotel and asked what we wished to do in Makati. Once we talked about food he began talking about many restaurants around the hotel that he believed we would enjoy. Please give him our thanks because we went to the restaurant (Manam) he recommended for good Filipino food and we absolutely loved it! The security at the hotel was very friendly and made sure everyone was safe and okay. Overall, our stay was fantastic and would recommend any of our friends and families to stay at the Makati Diamond Residents!

I had a wonderful stay at the Manila Peninsula Hotel. The overall atmosphere is comfortable, and the service is professional and attentive. From check-in to the day-to-day details, everything felt well taken care of. The room was clean and well-maintained. What I liked most is the hotel’s location. It’s convenient, with shopping malls nearby, so it’s easy to find places to eat and shop without having to plan too much in advance.

I wish I had more days staying in this hotel. The service was outstanding, the staffs were great and the room is very good too. This is honestly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. Not just in the Philippines, but anywhere in the world. I will definitely return when I come back to the country.

For a 5 star hotel, the service is very annoying. They would call me randomly to ask for feedback a few hours after I checked in. They would knock on my door early in the morning while I'm still sleeping to do a ”room check”... On the day of my check out, I had a knock on the door a bit past 9am, I ignored it as I was still in bed but they kept ringing the bell. I finally got up and the lady asked ”is there anything I can help with?”. Yes leave me alone. I went back to bed to rest and then got a phone call soon after as a reminder that check out is at 12pm. It's not even 10am yet and your staff already interrupted my sleep twice. Trying to get the room clean involves multiple phone calls. Once I left it to see how long it would take but at 6pm, I had to call since they never came during the day. Another time they cleaned, the cleaners said they ran out of towels so there would be someone who would deliver soon. I forgot about it until we went to have a shower and then it took almost an hour for the towels to arrive so we had to wait to use the bathroom as they took away the dirty towels so we didn't have anything to dry ourselves. Don't order room service. The food is very bad. I actually gagged on a drink they prepared. The TV is very old, they are still using cable technology. WiFi is patchy. Trying to get up and down the lift is a nightmare if you come at the wrong time as the line gets backed up all the way out into the street. My girlfriend was stopped by over eager security staff when she was trying to leave to buy some snacks as the room service meals were so bad even tho she had a room key and they would not let her up to the lobby on the 6th floor without me. Instead, I had to go down and pick her up from the ground floor where she was sitting in the corner like she was in trouble.

The location is excellent. There's a shopping mall and plenty of food options right downstairs, and it's very easy to get a taxi to anywhere in the city. The hotel is clean, and having laundry facilities was a huge plus. The staff were also very friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. I had a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a great location in Makati, right next to SM Mall, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's also only a fifteen-minute drive from the airport. There are a lot of guests, and overall it's good, but the hotel is a bit old. The breakfast is rich and excellent. The hotel has a gym and an outdoor pool, which are both decent. It feels very safe!

What truly sets I’M Hotel apart is the consistency of its service. Every staff member I encountered was courteous, professional, and eager to ensure that my stay was comfortable. Their genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. Overall, I’M Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable stay in Makati. I will definitely be returning on my next visit.

The hotel’s location is one of its biggest advantages, as it is conveniently situated near restaurants, cafés, shopping centers, and nightlife spots in Makati. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to relax after a busy day. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any requests. I requested for a simple birthday setup and they were able to provide it to us. I also enjoyed the hotel’s amenities, especially the rooftop pool, which offers a beautiful view of the city skyline. The breakfast selection was satisfying, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant and welcoming. For travelers looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in the heart of Makati, St Giles Hotel Makati is definitely a great choice. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to friends and family visiting the area.

The size was just right with enough comfort to rest near the bustling malls. It was good enough for the price. It was well lit. If your are looking for a place to rest and go out for an adventure or explore the city, this location is great.
