"The location was nice, it is nearby to the closest LRT station, you just have to walk for a little. If it is not such a hassle, choose this hostel.
When we first came in, the room smelled nice. Even though there is only one fan in the room, the room is still comfortable to stay in, it is not hot. Also, if you’ll be staying for a night this is the perfect place to stay in because they only provide beds for you to sleep in, but if you’d like to have more stuff that you can actually use while you’re at your stay, that has more amenities, this is not for you. Lastly, I actually commend the shared bathroom. It is clean and has a bidet and also a toiletry that you can use.
All in all, our stay is good. This is also our first time to check-in, so, not bad for the first time. Also, it is a budget-friendly place to stay in. Keep it up!"

"The room is overall cozy and clean. Aircon is new, the bed is cozy very comfortable. The bathroom is clean with hot shower. But no water heater in the room you still need to request. I am disappointed a bit since I was assigned at the 5th floor and I have requested the front staff to transfer me in the lower floor and she assured me if there will be available she will transfer me since I will be extending a couple of days. But when the third day comes, she mentioned no more available rooms. It is so upsetting since I am expecting what she promised when I see couple of guests already checking out."

ZZijiayouxinlingdeziyouBuilt in 1912, The Manila Hotel exudes old-world grandeur and luxury with its European-style architecture, spacious lobby, arched doorways, massive chandeliers, and wooden window frames. Interestingly, General MacArthur's suite, from the time he lost to General Peng during the Korean War, is preserved on the fifth floor – history certainly has a way of repeating itself... The breakfast selection is quite extensive.
AAnonymous UserMy stay at Lido de Paris Hotel in Manila was a mix of convenience and areas that could use improvement. The location is definitely one of its strongest points — it’s close to major spots in Manila, making it easy to get around. The lobby and common areas have a classic, slightly vintage feel, which adds character.
The room itself was decent, though it could benefit from some updates. The bed was comfortable enough for a short stay, but certain amenities felt a bit dated. Cleanliness was acceptable, though not exceptional. Staff were generally polite and helpful, especially at check‑in.
One thing to note is that the surrounding area can be busy and noisy, especially at night, so it may not be ideal for light sleepers. Still, for travelers looking for an affordable stay in a central location, the hotel offers reasonable value.
IitsreallyjaineStaying at City Garden Suites Manila turned out to be a great choice for exploring the historic side of Manila.
The location is very convenient — just a short distance from Rizal Park, Intramuros, and shopping areas like Robinsons Place Manila. It made moving around the city easy without long travel time.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of walking around Manila. What stood out the most was the hospitality of the staff — they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help.
If you’re looking for a hotel that balances comfort, location, and affordability, this is definitely a good option when staying in Manila.
AAngelie MangubatThe overall place is decent, however, the linen cover seems to have already been used due to its pungent odour. Every time we asked for room service, it just made the whole room smell worse as the mop used to clean the room likely had not been changed or cleaned. There was even a time when the cleaner took the money that had been left out in the open by the table, although we were going to tip anyway, it is just concerning that they’d take whatever money’s left out without having prior knowledge of whether the money is going to be given. What if it had been someone else's money or a larger amount than usual?

Good
GGuest UserThis reception was comfortable and we felt well received. Emails and check-in instructions were clear. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. We will definitely stay there again in the future. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
Mmelow bernabeEverything is excellent, the room or price is so affordable, the staffs are awesome, the rooms are nice for its price, the cleanliness and most especially the location is amazing. The hotel has its own laundry area with 200 pesos charge for 3kilos, you can cook in their kitchen, they have service water and hot water for 24 hours. You can check around the area for the cheaper foods as well as good. You can stay and eat at the roof deck, nice view and music. I extended my stay coz I truly love the ambiance and night life in the area.

GGuest UserStay was Great. Hotel is walking distance to Robinsons Palace Mall. Exit the hotel and take a right and walk straight down, and you're there. Need a massage to relieve the days tension, a variety of shops to choose from. Clubs/bars pick your place to chill and relax.

LLMTBFirst of all, I would like to say that the staff was friendly and apptoachable but the thing was checking in and out took too long since they dont have their own table or place to properly process the papers. The place were bigger than the usual I bookedl before . The room has I double deck and 1 double bed. It was clean and the bed is comfortable. I just wanted to recommend to upgrade the cooking stove into induction, it was old and rusted which wasted electricity. They provide sleepers for 4 people. You need to bring your own shampoo and toiletries. If need cleaning and help just inform the staff. Few upgrades is irecommended

LLEEGood location for nightlife.
The view from the balcony is also good.
Good thing, these two are the end.
The interior of the building is very old because it is unmanaged.
There are many Chinese people inside the building, so it is inconvenient to use the elevator.
It's particularly annoying when I use it at mealtimes.
Room condition is special. I used to buy toiletries personally.
The bottom line .... I thought it would be better to stay at the hotel to add to this money.
