GGuest User🌿 **Ambiance & Atmosphere** The renovated old schoolhouse has a wonderfully soft filter to it. The big trees in the courtyard and the white walls with dark tiled roofs are incredibly soothing. When the afternoon sun shines down, every photo you take feels cinematic. ☕️ **Café & Lounge Area** The on-site café is a huge plus! The coffee is excellent, and the lounge area is so comfortably set up. It's perfect for chatting with friends or just chilling out by yourself. No need to go out looking for a place to hang out. 🛏️ **Room Experience** As soon as I walked in, I noticed a subtle, pleasant scent. The facilities are super complete, and the attention to detail is truly thoughtful. I felt completely at ease and secure during my stay. 📸 **Photo-Worthy Moments** I have to give a shout-out to Shiqi! Their aesthetic sense and photography skills are top-notch. Every photo they took of my boyfriend and me turned out amazing! Overall, this is a hidden gem of a guesthouse where you can truly slow down and enjoy a relaxed vibe. Whether you're traveling with friends or looking for a place to unwind, I highly recommend it! I'll definitely stay here again next time~

Wwl****The location is fantastic, right inside the ancient town. You can get in for free after 5 PM. Plus, after breakfast the next day, you can tour Shen Hall and Zhang Hall for free. The value for money is just incredible! They even provide a bath kit in the room, which is a really thoughtful touch. Big thumbs up, highly recommend!

JJiafeibushimao~miaoLocation📍The hotel is right at the entrance of Shajiabang Scenic Area. It belongs to Huazhu Club with the Huajianting next door. The two share a courtyard. The children's playground of Manxinfu is also in the Huajianting next door. There is another Huazhu Club in the scenic area with a better price. Service: Smooth check-in, quick response, and children's toiletries and slippers are provided Facilities: The meal provided by the package is rich in variety. Coffee and bread coupons were given although they were not used. The family package in the package has a separate group purchase of 298, which tastes good. Breakfast is until 10 o'clock on weekends, with many choices and few Western styles. Let me talk about the points that I don't agree with: The fruit platter written in the 298 family package in the package was originally prepared to be packed, but the waiter asked if there were only 4 slices of watermelon. Haha, this platter... If you book a calendar room directly, you can upgrade the room, check out late, give souvenirs, and send bird watching coupons. There are none of them redeemed with group purchases. Bird watching coupons need to be bought by yourself for 50 per person😓

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝

MMaria.ezI've stayed in many hotels, but this one is truly the best. Staying at the Tonino Lamborghini Hotel in Suzhou isn't just accommodation – it's an unforgettable experience. From the moment you enter, you're greeted by a sense of spaciousness. The design is stunning, using only natural materials like wood and stone – and the materials themselves are very pleasing to the eye and touch. The bed was very soft and comfortable – I slept wonderfully. My room had three panoramic windows overlooking a beautifully wild garden – birds, leaves, stones, all perfectly framed like living art. There was even a dedicated tea-drinking space, which added a deeper layer of calm and ritual to the stay. The bathroom floor is carved from a single piece of natural stone – a pleasure just to walk on. Every amenity you could need is there: lotion, gel, shampoo, conditioner, robes, iron, coffee machine. And surprisingly – a small library in the room. Amazing. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. A special shout-out to Nolan, who upgraded us to a studio, guided us to our room, explained everything, helped with luggage, and did it all fast and with a smile. The interiors throughout the hotel are beautiful – paintings, sculptures, retro photos everywhere. Breakfast was outstanding: fresh, smooth, and delicious. The only small note: the swimming pool and gym are a bit compact, but it really didn't matter given everything else. All in all, this was a unique experience that greatly enhanced my Suzhou trip. I'll definitely be coming back.

AAnonymous UserMy recent trip to Suzhou was made absolutely perfect by my stay at the Indigo Hotel Suzhou Grand Canal. Every detail there showcased exquisite craftsmanship and style. The hotel boasts an excellent location in the Longhu Center of the High-tech Zone, right next to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. You can easily access the mall downstairs and the subway station is within walking distance, making both travel and shopping incredibly convenient. Stepping into the hotel, I was immediately captivated by the rich Jiangnan charm blended with modern design. The lobby on the ground floor resembles the interior of a traditional Wupeng boat, with arched eaves and Taihu stone landscaping instantly evoking the essence of Suzhou. The 46th-floor sky lobby offers breathtaking panoramic views, with 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing Lion Hill, Tiger Hill Pagoda, and the city skyline. As night falls, the twinkling lights make you feel as if you're in a celestial wonderland. The guest room design was truly ingenious, perfectly integrating garden elements like Suzhou-style latticed windows and Su embroidery screens with a modern minimalist aesthetic. The room was spacious and bright, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows provided a spectacular view, allowing me to overlook the city of Suzhou right from my bed. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area, and the Atelier Cologne toiletries exuded a luxurious scent. Every detail spoke of quality. The service was absolutely impeccable. Before check-in, the staff proactively called to confirm my needs and sent a travel guide in advance. Check-in was efficient and thoughtful; I even received a complimentary room upgrade and welcome fruits. The turndown service was meticulous and attentive, providing warm milk and an eye mask. The mini-bar's Suzhou specialty snacks were complimentary and refillable, truly a warm touch. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. The 44th-floor heated swimming pool has crystal-clear water, and the high-altitude fitness center is open 24 hours. The breakfast selection was rich and diverse, featuring an array of Suzhou specialties like Aocao noodles and mung bean soup. Here, you can experience both the ancient charm of millennium-old Suzhou and the convenience of a modern city. It's truly an excellent choice for any trip to Suzhou. I highly recommend it to all my friends visiting Suzhou; one stay, and you'll never forget it. The service was also particularly good.

QQingshuixianshengI truly love the Four Seasons Suzhou, and not just because it's a Four Seasons property. More importantly, every stay here deepens that feeling of coming home. The luxurious and grand ambiance, the secluded island setting, the thoughtful and warm service, and the friendly, welcoming smiles – isn't this the ultimate dream for modern city dwellers when they choose a luxury hotel? As one of the top luxury hotels in the Suzhou area, the Four Seasons Suzhou offers guests so much: comfortable sleep, delicious food, beautiful surroundings, and attentive service. Especially that last point – in terms of service and attention to detail, the Four Seasons Suzhou is definitely a leader in China. Yet, its prices are still approachable and reasonable, which really highlights its excellent value for money. Let me give two examples from my personal experience. First, baggage handling: when we checked in, our car drove directly into the underground parking. A concierge staff member (a woman at the entrance to the underground elevator) immediately ran over to help us with our luggage (one large and one small suitcase, plus several other bags). A minute later, two male colleagues from the same department also arrived, and all three helped us take our bags upstairs. Second, the check-in details: the team, led by Cherry, the Director of Rooms, had prepared everything well in advance. Besides being specially greeted in the lobby, there were fresh flowers, room keys (standard and a special little fish design), custom glass stickers in the room, a hand-drawn card, welcome fruit, and so much more – the sense of occasion was truly impressive. I sincerely thank the hotel's management and operations teams for their meticulous care and enthusiastic efforts towards me and my family during this stay. They include staff whose names I know and many more whose names I didn't catch: Cherry (Director of Rooms), Nicole (Director of Housekeeping), Penny (Guest Relations Manager), Jarven (Assistant Front Office Manager), Charles (Executive Chinese Chef), Chef Jin, Tina (Operations Manager), Supervisors Holly and Yusi, Jerry (Yunhe Restaurant Manager), Supervisor Amy, Chef Kevin, Naomi (Long Bar Restaurant Manager), Irene (Team Leader), Chovy (Concierge Supervisor), and others. A big thank you to all of them! Four Seasons Suzhou, you truly are a home away from home!

DD0971****As other online reviews mentioned, don't expect much from the service here. 1. Usually, hotels have a butler escort you to your room and explain things, or at least wait at the door. On our check-in day, we arrived at our room to find the door open. A staff member in plain clothes suddenly emerged from the room, startling us. But that's a minor detail. 2. The public hot spring (gongtang) operating hours are 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. However, when we went at 9:30 PM, after showering, ready to soak, we were told the 'golden' spring (jintang) was already being cleaned and we couldn't use it. Why couldn't anyone warn us when we entered or while we were showering? They started cleaning a full hour before closing, and there were 3-4 other guests in the women's bath at the time; everyone just looked at each other in disbelief. 3. On Tuesday, before checking out, I wanted to have one last soak, so I woke up early. But when I entered the women's changing room, all the lights were off (the locker access card still worked, so the access control wasn't off, and there were no 'closed' signs at the entrance). I had to call the front desk myself to find out it was closed on Tuesdays. No one mentioned this to us during check-in or at any other time, and it wasn't in the check-in guide. So, we woke up early for nothing. The front desk said it was mentioned on Ctrip (it was, but in tiny font about seven or eight pages down). There were also no compensation measures. When we checked out, there were even other guests who had driven over specifically for the hot springs, only to be told it was closed that day. They also made a wasted trip, so the unclear signage is definitely not an isolated incident. Other than that, the value for money is quite good, and the private hot spring (sitang) fees are reasonable, though the private springs only offer the 'silver' spring (yintang).

GGuest UserTraveling with a baby was a perfect experience! The hotel's garden design is outstanding, and the rooms are spacious and airy, with excellent indoor-outdoor flow, making for a very comfortable stay. The location is superb, directly facing the mountains and offering immediate access to Tianshi Lake. The surrounding area is great for exploring and walking, perfect for families with young children. Both the hotel's amenities and services are top-notch, as expected from the Banyan Tree brand. The service is meticulous and attentive, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. They even gave us a cute little lion toy and a toy car. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, highly recommended for a family vacation.

CCyfer3185Stayed at this homestay for 3 nights in July which is peak season for summer domestic travel in China. The rooms are comfortable and had all the amenities you’d expect of a 4 star hotel - comfortable beds, lounging area, balcony, TV, good toiletries, hair dryer. Other positives were very friendly service staff, hearty breakfast from the cafe with is on the same premise. There’s also local restaurants nearby to dine at which are not bad, just 5-10 mins walk down the road. I also enjoyed waking up to run across the bridge which has a great sunrise view. A lot of tourists visit the cafe for the sunset views. The hotel staff can do room service and bring food ordered from the cafe to your room if requested. Note though that location wise it is not as close to other cafes and stuff. You’ll need to travel a fair bit if you want to venture and do other things. I wanted a peaceful retreat with a good view but nearer to mainland (compared to the main 西山岛) so this worked for me. I stayed in 3 different rooms (Rm 1,4,5) for my 3 nights as I had asked for a room with a view but was initially assigned one that was completely blocked by trees. In trying to accommodate my request I ended up having different rooms (to no fault of the staff and property) each night. There are 8 ‘normal rooms’ and one suite room that is round and more suited for honeymoon/romantic occasions. Rooms 3,4,5,6 are the ones with the better view. Room 1 (my first room) has a completely blocked view which is a waste staying by the lake. Rooms 4 and 5 have the best view. Note also that rm 1 and 4 have a skylight that cannot be blocked so by 5 am your room is gonna be bright although they do give you eye shades to help. There is also no laundry facilities on site. Only additional feedback to the property would be that they could consider a discount for guests to dine at the cafe, that could encourage guests to have more meals there. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this for anyone looking for an escape for the buzz and want a tranquil place to rest!
