GGuest UserThe room is very clean, not crowded, with a collection of patterns and style. The windows are large and the view is good. There is a children's playground on the first floor of Building 2, which the children like. The breakfast is rich. Bird watching and scenic spot tickets are given, which is very cost-effective. Bird watching is worth going. The scenic spot rocking boat is worth a ride, 30 yuan/person. There are few people on the rainy Dragon Boat Festival, which is not bad.
The hotel staff is enthusiastic. 🅿️ The parking lot is large and there is no parking fee. I will choose to stay in Manxinfu next time. Thank you for the careful and meticulous service of the hotel staff this time.

PPaopaosanfentangPingjiang Road is truly chill! As soon as you arrive, it's like time slows down. There are not only many interesting shops selling clothes and crafts, but also local specialties to eat. Plus, there are multi-functional living spaces like Songzhioyu 3 Pingjiang Road Homestay~
I absolutely love the private courtyard here! There's a big sofa area where you can relax and sunbathe with friends, as well as a tea room and reading space to enjoy some leisurely time. And of course, a spacious coffee bar to cater to caffeine lovers like me ☕
This homestay is pet-friendly and has several adorable cats. Guests are also welcome to bring their own beloved pets~
Aside from the excellent accommodation and carefully prepared toiletries, another major highlight of staying here is the traditional Qipao dress-up and photo-op experience! The styles are all elegant and refined, perfectly suiting the vibe of Pingjiang Road. I genuinely didn't want to leave!

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, right inside the ancient town. You can get in for free after 5 PM. Plus, after breakfast the next day, you can tour Shen Hall and Zhang Hall for free. The value for money is just incredible! They even provide a bath kit in the room, which is a really thoughtful touch. Big thumbs up, highly recommend!

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝

Cons:
1. The breakfast was indeed disappointing. Not only was there limited variety, but the taste was very mediocre. Especially the two boiled eggs I took were undercooked, and clearly not meant to be eaten raw. Also, several people who seemed to be chefs were chatting loudly, although the waitstaff were all fine.
2. The room door and the bed were only separated by a gauze screen, so soundproofing was poor, and noises from outside the door were clearly audible.
3. The air conditioner vent was directly facing the bed and sofa, and I'm not used to cold air blowing directly on me.
4. The pond outside the balcony was quite poor, as shown in the picture.
5. My car's Sentry Mode detected that flyers were put on it overnight.
6. Regular toilet, no bidet.

AAnonymous UserIt was okay, given the affordable price. It's relatively quiet and the location is great, right behind Longfor Tianjie, probably part of the same complex. The service style is more youthful, not like a Marriott. Especially when they say 'bye-bye' – it's quite young. It's not as professionally trained as a 1000-yuan hotel, but it's still acceptable. After all, the price reflects that, and I didn't have high expectations.
The bedding and pillows were standard, so you can definitely get some sleep. The shower head was a bit weak, the sink's stone material felt a bit cheap, and the carpet could be better. But these are comparisons to a 1000-yuan room. For a price around 600, I think it's perfectly fine.
I'd suggest adding some proper benches on the first floor, thank you. It always feels like I'm standing in detention there.

GGuest UserThis was an incredibly satisfying stay! The environment is lovely, and the upgraded lake-view room offered breathtaking scenery. It was wonderful to leave the curtains open at night and see the changing views throughout. Suzhou Four Seasons really impressed me with their attention to detail. When I called ahead, I mentioned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and the room was beautifully decorated on the day – I was so touched. That night, I even found 'Happy Anniversary' embroidered on the pillow corners – it really warmed my heart. The breakfast the next morning was another highlight. The dishes were exquisite, the food delicious, and everything was freshly prepared with great care. The mini wontons were excellent (unlike the frozen ones I've had at two other Banyan Tree hotels in Suzhou, which were quite disappointing). Freshly baked xiao long bao, egg tarts, and pineapple buns were offered by servers who went table to table. I tried the xiao long bao and egg tarts, and both were fantastic. It was also very thoughtful that breakfast was served until 11 am. All the hotel staff were very kind and polite, though they seemed a little reserved. Honestly, there's no need to be – you've already made a great impression on your guests! A truly wonderful memory!

1. Usually, hotels have a butler escort you to your room and explain things, or at least wait at the door. On our check-in day, we arrived at our room to find the door open. A staff member in plain clothes suddenly emerged from the room, startling us. But that's a minor detail.
2. The public hot spring (gongtang) operating hours are 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. However, when we went at 9:30 PM, after showering, ready to soak, we were told the 'golden' spring (jintang) was already being cleaned and we couldn't use it. Why couldn't anyone warn us when we entered or while we were showering? They started cleaning a full hour before closing, and there were 3-4 other guests in the women's bath at the time; everyone just looked at each other in disbelief.
3. On Tuesday, before checking out, I wanted to have one last soak, so I woke up early. But when I entered the women's changing room, all the lights were off (the locker access card still worked, so the access control wasn't off, and there were no 'closed' signs at the entrance). I had to call the front desk myself to find out it was closed on Tuesdays. No one mentioned this to us during check-in or at any other time, and it wasn't in the check-in guide. So, we woke up early for nothing. The front desk said it was mentioned on Ctrip (it was, but in tiny font about seven or eight pages down).
There were also no compensation measures. When we checked out, there were even other guests who had driven over specifically for the hot springs, only to be told it was closed that day. They also made a wasted trip, so the unclear signage is definitely not an isolated incident.
Other than that, the value for money is quite good, and the private hot spring (sitang) fees are reasonable, though the private springs only offer the 'silver' spring (yintang).

This trip to Suzhou Xishan Island, choosing to stay at LIM·Orange Bay full lake view beauty hotel, is really the most correct decision on the trip! From check-in to check-out, the most pleasant surprise is that the front desk lady intimately helped me upgrade to the lake view suite with a bathtub on the viewing terrace for free. The service is directly full and the favorability is bursting!
The homestay is located by the Taihu Lake, facing the first-line lake view. The overall design is artistic style. The red brick building is matched with the lake and mountains. It is a large-scale atmosphere. The proper ”Suzhou Xiaojizhou Island” has a sense of sight [( Trip.com )]. When checking in, the front desk lady was gentle and patient, and the communication was particularly comfortable. She also took the initiative to introduce the facilities of the hotel, the surrounding play routes and the best seats to watch the sunset. It was especially intimate. I never expected to upgrade the room type directly for me. This surprise is really heartwarming!
The upgraded experience of the suite is directly full! More than 50 square meters of space is spacious and transparent, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows introduce the beauty of Taihu Lake into the room, and the 270° view is absolutely amazing. Early in the morning, awakened by the mist and sunshine on the lake, sitting on the terrace wicker chair in the evening, watching the sunset dye the lake orange, the evening wind blowing, all fatigue has disappeared. The room is full of details, equipped with parsley washing, Leica hair dryer, Marshall speakers, the bathtub is facing the lake view, while taking a bath and enjoying the lake, the atmosphere is directly full. The bedding is soft and comfortable, the hygiene is particularly in place, the corners are clean, and it is particularly safe to live.
The facilities of the homestay are also very complete, the public area is full of design, the stone wall is matched with wooden dome, and the photos are very good. Breakfast is exquisite Su-style flavor, small wontons, fried eggs with fruit platter, healthy and delicious [( Trip.com )]. The staff is attentive throughout the whole process, can respond in time to any needs, and can store luggage for free, provide parking services, and travel is particularly convenient.
I really recommend friends who come to Xishan Island to choose this homestay! Invincible lake view, intimate service, comfortable room type, plus the warm heart upgrade of the front desk lady, make this trip to Taihu Lake particularly unforgettable, will definitely come again next time you come to Suzhou!

GGuest UserThis hotel is incredibly close to Jinji Lake and Suzhou Center Plaza, and the transportation is super convenient—it's just a hundred-meter walk from the subway station. The breakfast spread is great, and the rooms are spacious. Last time I stayed in the city center, but choosing a hotel by Jinji Lake this time was an excellent decision. You can take the subway directly to Mudu Ancient Town, Tongli Ancient Town, and the Benshe Market. When you don't have a car, being close to the subway and having easy access to transportation is absolutely crucial. If you want to catch the musical fountain, make sure to go on a Friday or Saturday, as it doesn't run on weekdays.
