Boutique Hotels in Guangzhou

Guangdong Guest House has a great location and a beautiful environment. The hotel's hygiene is also decent. However, there are a few downsides: Firstly, when checking in, the front desk gave me several discount coupons (10 yuan each), but be aware that you can only use one at a time! Even for just one coupon, the restaurant had to call someone to confirm it when I was paying. Is there no communication between the front desk and the restaurant? Secondly, even with the 'Do Not Disturb' light on, the cleaning staff knocked on the door and called my room. Not only that, but they also swiped their card to open the door without my permission. How are they trained?

1. Location of hotel is good for me. Location also good to me when I stay for concert trip at Guangzhou Olympic Stadium. 1. Housekeeping service is too good for me bacause they will clean the room everyday. And their attitude is so good and polite. They will make sure my room have everything ready when I go back to hotel. 3.Room is big and clean. It is very worth for the price that I paid. 4. Laundry serivice is so convenient when I stay for 6day. Housekeeping will also help up if not free. They will send it to room when it done. 5. Front desk staff is friendly and very patient to explain the room thing when I do my check in and check out. Help up me to get my parcel and send it to room for me. I very happy and grateful to stay at the hotel. Thanks so much to those staff who so helpful, friendly, supportive and good attitude to the guest.

The doorman was super friendly and welcoming, and the front desk staff were really patient. The room was clean and had a great view of Canton Tower, which is also pretty close by. Jinan University is right across the street, and parking was convenient. I forgot to take a picture of the breakfast buffet, but they had a lot of dishes. It was definitely worth the price, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I come back to Guangzhou with friends!

A perfect stay experience. The room style, hotel location, restaurant food – everything was excellent. No other hotel in Guangzhou around the 2k price range can compare. Every day when I returned after a concert, the room had already been cleaned and the turndown service prepared. The pool and jacuzzi experience was also fantastic, and every staff member I encountered was very attentive. The only minor drawback was a slight musty smell in the room carpet, but after I reported it to the hotel, they immediately arranged for two air purifiers. They even helped coil up my charging cables. I love everything about this place. Being able to extend check-out to 2 PM due to a flight delay was a lifesaver. From now on, whenever I come to Guangzhou, I will only choose the Mandarin Oriental.

Overall, it was a very good experience. When I first entered the room, it felt a bit dated, but once I settled in, I really got that Southeast Asian vibe. The balcony is huge, offering panoramic views of the mountains from its hillside location, and it's super quiet at night, perfect for some peaceful contemplation. The screens on the windows kept mosquitoes out of the room, and while there were some outside, that's just nature, isn't it? It was a pretty unique experience.
